Super knowledgeable staff as well as wide variety of BMX parts, frames, bars and everything else in between. Super happy to come across this shop as most other shops near my home in east phx area are for mtb, road bikes and e-bikes. this place is for the bmx riders for sure. came in today to get a cog installed onto my profile elite hub as I didnt have the tools or know-how on diy'ing it myself without breaking it lol. staff greeted me almost immediately and wrenched on it, fixed it in less than 5 mins. super thankful and will def be back again to finish my 29er bmx project! read more

My husband and I drove here from Surprise this morning. They were open on a Sunday which was fantastic but also had great Yelp reviews so we made the trek. We were both so happy we did! They fixed my husband's tire because he said it's easier to pay someone to do it. They also helped us find a helmet for our little one and put up with him running around the store screaming. The reviews are right.... The service is fantastic and for us worth the drive. read more

The team of young professionals here was very knowledgeable/friendly and I was lucky enough to get my hub bearings replaced while I waited on a Sunday. This was likely because I saved them the time and brought in just the wheel. There costs are more than fair and I hope the neighborhood and surrounding areas continue to utilize there service. We need more local businesses like this. read more

What a terrific bike shop. The staff here have passion and expertise with all things bikes. (And also skate boards). What I appreciated so much was their willingness to go the second mile with their service. Our bikes had been sitting for months in the hot weather and collecting dust in the garage. They had wipes the bikes clean besides the great tune up which made all the difference in the ride of the bike. Best place ever. Despite being far from my home they will be my go to for repairs from here on out. read more

The weather was too nice not to take a ride outside. I'm glad that I found this little bike and skate shop to fix flat tires on my bike. Randy, the owner of the shop was knowledgeable and showed me how a nail will puncture a bike tire without applying Flat Attack sealant. The prices were reasonable. He even took his time showing me how install a bike rack correctly. This will definitely be my go-to bike shop when I'm in this area. Go support this amazing local shop! read more

The staff at Unity are great! They are patient, educational, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. We bought a skateboard from there and I've taken 3 of my kid's bikes in for repairs. Definitely glad I found this shop. They also have a Dope, chill dog that strolls around the shop. It looks like it would be a stoner if it was a human Thanks! read more

Don't be deceived by the youth of the staff. And do not be misled by the rings in their faces. These young individuals are not only informationally Equipped but unlike their millennial pierce they have the concept of customer service down. I went through about 10 other places trying to find a place that maintain our bikes that was close to our home. As this according to Arizonians is not close to our home I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to fix my issue of my tire in like 10 minutes. Mind you they do not have a Lot of space in the shop to be able to do more work that they're probably able to manage which ended up working in my advantage. But I was just pleasantly surprised I am on my way now taking my second bike to them to have maintenance on the gears. So far I would recommend this place and currently I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. Heads up I came on a Sunday at 3 o'clock and they were closed early because they were so busy ....they couldn't keep up with the demand....very sought read more

Great bike shop with very friendly staff and great prices! I brought my bike in the day before my family camping trip to get a new tube for the back tire and was in and out in 10-15 minutes! I opted for the thicker tube and I think it came out to like $12 with the tube and labor so I decided to pick up some lights for the bike too. I'll definitely be coming back here for any of our bike issues and would highly recommend to anybody looking for an honest affordable shop! read more

Let me start by saying i always support local business. And even when service or quality isn't there. I just keep my mouth shut and never visit again. So today i Went in this members only establishment @unityrideshop to get my chain an pedals I've got online throw on my Cult. After I messaged them #1 can you guys do this? #2 do I have to set appointment? I'm Their response in screen shot in this post. So I load head on down there. Knock on door cause its locked for obvious reasons. Get let into shop. Tell them why I'm there and what I'm trying to accomplish. The owner/boss i guess. Begins to tell me their behind and have mad customers because the can't get stuff done basically. Nothing i really cared about. So while his employee goes to check on if they could SQUEEZE me. The boss ask what kind of chain I'm looking for? I reply i already have one. WOW DID THIS GUY TONE CHANGE. NOW HE WOULDN'T HELP ME BECAUSE I BOUGHT CHAIN ELSEWHERE. So basically they wouldn't unless they could SQUEEZE MY POCKETS also.. so for now on I be talking crap about this shop every ride I go on and every platform I have. Sad part this isn't the first time @unityrideshop has given me bad service. But like he told me ill take my business elsewhere. #dontsupportthisshop #rideelswhere #unityiswhereyourcashat #unityismoneyhungry #notaboutbikelife #bmx #arizona #smallbusiness #azbmx0 read more

This bike shop is always so helpful and friendly. I truly enjoy going there knowing I will get great service.

I googled bike shops and this was closest to me. I get there and the male owner talks to me almost yelling and I'm just 12 inches away from him. Kinda rude. I disregard his approach and he helps me and i buy almost 200 dollars in accessories. I started a friendly conversation with him and as time goes by he abruptly invades my space and slaps the brim of my military cap and says ` you shouldn't be texting and driving".. I asked him why did he do that and he just disregarded the whole issue, very disrespectful for a busness owner to do that to a customer. I just walked away in disbelief ...more to follow read more

Excellent Bike Shop! John is super knowledgeable and very customer service oriented as is their entire staff. Very fair pricing. The entire store has a very positive vibe. Brought my mountain bike in for tune-up and upgraded spindle set-up. They do everything bike .... BMX, Mountain, Touring. I live in the NW Valley with several bike shops located closer by ... but I would not take my bike anywhere else. read more

Randy and his team are just awesome. Randy himself is amazing. He goes over the top with advice and recommendations on how to get the most out of your equipment, taking time to answer your questions and give helpful information. When you're with him He makes you feel like your his number one customer. That's the way he treats everyone. And his workmanship is fantastic of course--no surprise there. I know people do a lot of purchasing online these days and I do as well, but nothing beats having a local bike store guy who can take care of you when you need it, and I'm really happy to throw my business his way whenever I can. Great stuff, Randy. Unity rocks! read more

I've been meaning to give these guys a review for their customer service. Two months ago, I bought a bike online from CityGrounds and put it together myself because I didn't want to pay the extra $150 for them to assemble. It had no instructions and I did a decent job I'd say but I didn't want to mess with the brakes. I called MULTIPLE bike shops and everyone was backed up for weeks, including Unity. I asked about my brakes through Yelp and he said to come in the morning. I got up extra early because I knew every single bike store was backed up because everyone and their mom bought a bike during this pandemic (including myself). I got there about 25 mins before and parked right in front of the shop. 10 mins. later the owner Randy put a sign in the window that said they were catching up and would open at 11. He noticed I was parked out there before asking how could he help and I told him about my brakes and he pulled me in the shop so he could take a peek. He told me that he would have charged me $30 to put my bike together (good to know!) and he adjusted my brakes and gave my bike a quick look and adjusted a few other things and only charged me $12. If that's not customer service I don't know what is. I'd suggest going to their shop or any other bike shops before they open is probably the best while all the catch up. I just moved back to Washington state but I HIGHLY recommend these guys, just make sure you have the time and patience for their services. read more

The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. They don't just try to upsell items, they actually make sure that I'm picking the right parts based on my preferences, my height and weight, price range, etc. Really nice friendly people and I find myself spending hours and subsequently lots of money here. I recommend this shop to anyone no matter where they live in the valley. read more

When this shop opened, I was working at the Fryes' that is located in the same shopping plaza. I was excited to see a small business and wanted to spend my money with them. Few years, have passed and though I do not work at that Fryes' and have moved to the west valley, I still enjoy supporting this small businesses. Needed my bike service to get ready for the summer, this year I budgeted 200 to 300 to update my bike with new tires, lights, water bottle, etc.. It was Wednesday and I purchased a Groupon to get the service, loaded my bike and drove the 30+ mins to the shop. The young man at the counter told me that i needed to make an appointment to get my bike serviced, I chuckled and thought that is nuts to make an appointment to get a bike service, but i complied because i wanted to support this business. He gave me an appointment for Sunday, loaded my bike back up and drove the 30 mins home. 1 hour of wasting my time. Came back on Sunday for my appointment, talked with the young man, glasses and bushy hair, told him that I wanted to get some lights and reflectors on my bike because with my work schedule it is easier to ride at night. He treated me like shit, made me feel like I was annoying him and he had some drugs to take that was more important than dealing with me. He told me my bike would be ready by Wednesday and that he would call. I went back on wednesday and I did not call, just assumed that it would be done. I was wrong, got there and it wasn't ready, they were so so busy that they couldn't get to it. Ok, drove back home, another hour wasted. Called Thursday, yes, my bike is ready, 30 mins to the shop, when my friend and I get there, we had to wait for these guys to retrieve my bike, for some reason they put my bike so deep into their storage it took them 5 minutes to get it out. While I am standing waiting patiently, laughing at these children who do not know how to give customer service, they young black man decides to call the people who live in the area miscreants. My friend and I were offended but laughed it off, here is young black man, looking like a coco puff in a bowl of milk calling other people of color miscreants. You have to laugh at the educational system that he attended, what a waste of 12 years. They finally retrieved my bike and the things that I wanted added wasn't done. Purchased a new light, not installed, extra reflectors not installed, their attempt to upsell me and take my 200 to 300 budget not even attempted. I know that I am not the typical customers that the shop supports, but money is money. The owner was so irritated by me for asking that he do the work that I am paying for that my friend said to me later that they were irritated by my old ass and wanted me out of their store. When I was paying for my services, the credit card reader prompted me to leave a tip, the young man with glasses and bushy hair told me that I didn't have to tip. What was he was saying to me was that he didn't want me in his shop and he would rather have my old black ass out instead of tipping them. Wow, I drove 3 hours to support your business but my skin tone defined my service that I deserved. Hit up google and their are 5 bike shops in my area that are less than 5 mins away from my home, I will take my money to a shop that will listen to my needs and provide service that I deserve, these young men will have so much to learn about how to treat all customers, not just the ones that fit a narrative that they are comfortable with. read more
