What a terrific bike shop. The staff here have passion and expertise with all things bikes. (And also skate boards). What I appreciated so much was their willingness to go the second mile with their service. Our bikes had been sitting for months in the hot weather and collecting dust in the garage. They had wipes the bikes clean besides the great tune up which made all the difference in the ride of the bike. Best place ever. The weather was too nice not to take a ride outside. I'm glad that I found this little bike and skate shop to fix flat tires on my bike. Randy, the owner of the shop was knowledgeable and showed me how a nail will puncture a bike tire without applying Flat Attack sealant. The prices were reasonable. Don't be deceived by the youth of the staff. And do not be misled by the rings in their faces. These young individuals are not only informationally Equipped but unlike their millennial pierce they have the concept of customer service down. I went through about 10 other places trying to find a place that maintain our bikes that was close to our home. As this according to Arizonians is not close to our home I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to fix my issue of my tire in like 10 minutes. Mind you they do not have a Lot of space in the shop to be able to do more work that they're probably able to manage which ended up working in my advantage. But I was just pleasantly surprised I am on my way now taking my second bike to them to have maintenance on the gears. So far I would recommend this place and currently I wouldn't think about going anywhere else. Great bike shop with very friendly staff and great prices! I brought my bike in the day before my family camping trip to get a new tube for the back tire and was in and out in 10-15 minutes! I opted for the thicker tube and I think it came out to like $12 with the tube and labor so I decided to pick up some lights for the bike too. We had unity ride shop put together a Adult tricycle they did a wonderful job they run a very nice store very professional they charged me about 100 bucks to put it together which I gladly paid when other places and they were trying to charge me $199 to assemble it and these guys only charge me 100 bucks they did such a great job I left them a $20 tip as well read more

Let me start by saying i always support local business. And even when service or quality isn't there. I just keep my mouth shut and never visit again. So today i Went in this members only establishment @unityrideshop to get my chain an pedals I've got online throw on my Cult. After I messaged them #1 can you guys do this? #2 do I have to set appointment? I'm Their response in screen shot in this post. So I load head on down there. Knock on door cause its locked for obvious reasons. Get let into shop. Tell them why I'm there and what I'm trying to accomplish. The owner/boss i guess. Begins to tell me their behind and have mad customers because the can't get stuff done basically. Nothing i really cared about. So while his employee goes to check on if they could SQUEEZE me. The boss ask what kind of chain I'm looking for? I reply i already have one. WOW DID THIS GUY TONE CHANGE. NOW HE WOULDN'T HELP ME BECAUSE I BOUGHT CHAIN ELSEWHERE. So basically they wouldn't unless they could SQUEEZE MY POCKETS also.. so for now on I be talking crap about this shop every ride I go on and every platform I have. I googled bike shops and this was closest to me. I get there and the male owner talks to me almost yelling and I'm just 12 inches away from him. Kinda rude. I disregard his approach and he helps me and i buy almost 200 dollars in accessories. I started a friendly conversation with him and as time goes by he abruptly invades my space and slaps the brim of my military cap and says ` you shouldn't be texting and driving".. He goes over the top with advice and recommendations on how to get the most out of your equipment, taking time to answer your questions and give helpful information. When you're with him He makes you feel like your his number one customer. That's the way he treats everyone. And his workmanship is fantastic of course--no surprise there. I know people do a lot of purchasing online these days and I do as well, but nothing beats having a local bike store guy who can take care of you when you need it, and I'm really happy to throw my business his way whenever I can. I've been meaning to give these guys a review for their customer service. Two months ago, I bought a bike online from CityGrounds and put it together myself because I didn't want to pay the extra $150 for them to assemble. It had no instructions and I did a decent job I'd say but I didn't want to mess with the brakes. I called MULTIPLE bike shops and everyone was backed up for weeks, including Unity. I asked about my brakes through Yelp and he said to come in the morning. I got up extra early because I knew every single bike store was backed up because everyone and their mom bought a bike during this pandemic (including myself). I got there about 25 mins before and parked right in front of the shop. 10 mins. later the owner Randy put a sign in the window that said they were catching up and would open at 11. He noticed I was parked out there before asking how could he help and I told him about my brakes and he pulled me in the shop so he could take a peek. He told me that he would have charged me $30 to put my bike together (good to know!) and he adjusted my brakes and gave my bike a quick look and adjusted a few other things and only charged me $12. If that's not customer service I don't know what is. I'd suggest going to their shop or any other bike shops before they open is probably the best while all the catch up. I just moved back to Washington state but I HIGHLY recommend these guys, just make sure you have the time and patience for their services. read more
