I found him through here and his yelp reviews seemed amazing. We got my son his first ever bike and he loved it but quickly got a flat tire. I don't know much about how to fix bikes and I'm a busy mom so having him be able to come out was going to be great as my son was missing his bike a lot. Upon getting pricing/coordinating a time - Christ told me he was "going to pass on my repair" and referred me to another bike shop. When I asked his reasoning he said he was too busy? Pretty wild he refused service and didn't offer a better day. I've never had a company or service point blank say "I'll pass, here's someone else". Clearly not worth his time? Bummer. I decided to start riding my bike again, and I figured it needed a few repairs before I put it back on the road. I came across the Bike Doctor on Yelp and was extremely excited, seeing he was less than 2 miles out and was a mobile bike repair service. I was scheduled with an appointment the very next morning. Unfortunately I had to reschedule, but it still was a breeze getting another appointment scheduled for the next day. Before The Bike Doctor even looked at my bike, he was able to send me an estimate of the service that I may have ended up needing. Today, The Bike Doctor arrived at my home on time and was ready to take the bike and get it suitable for me. Within 5 minutes, The Bike Doctor called back and stated that nothing was wrong with my bike. I went downstairs and was told I only needed air! I was happy, embarrassed and relieved! I was properly educated on inflating my tires and the best method. Not only was The Bike Doctor pleasant, professional and efficient he was honest! I offered to pay him for coming out and getting my bike ready, but he declined. He stated he'd charge when he fixed my bike. Chris, the Bike Doctor, was able to find a time to stop by my home at a time that fit into my schedule at 9am. I have a large family and many of our bikes were in a state of disrepair -- 6 bikes that required multiple repairs: new tires, tubes, brake & shifter cables, a chain, brake alignment, cassette repair, handle bar adjustment, and just plain cleaning up. I had him install tire puncture liners on all five of the bikes as well. I have a truck and told Chris that I would bring my bevy of bikes to him -- not necessary, mobile repair was part of his business model. Before our scheduled appointment, I realized I had a dental exam that would overlap our meeting; 'no problem' Chris texted back -- as long as he had access to the bikes outside the job was going to take him a couple hours anyhow. When I returned from the dentist two hours later, Chris had 4 of the six bikes looking great! He explained that he had been able to restore a couple parts (that saved me money) and found good tubes in a couple (which also saved me money)!
