I recently used Darly for the first time, and I cannot recommend him more highly. If you are looking for an honest, extremely competent individual to repair your bike, give Darly a call at Gears to You, LLC. First off, I live down in Ahwatukee, which is a long haul from Darly's North Phoenix location. When I explained to him I was having a hard time finding someone to come to my home, he agreed to come out in spite of the distance. He even agreed to modify his price when I inquired if he gave a teacher or veteran discount. (I am both.) In spite of the extra distance for him to travel, he only charged me an extremely reasonable (if not outright generous) one hundred dollars for an extensive tune-up and replacing several spokes. Furthermore, Darly is a mechanical engineer by profession, so he really knows how to fix bikes - a side gig for him but one can easily tell he is very passionate about. Upon my inquiry, he even spent additional time ensuring that my seat height was adjusted appropriately for me. In sum, Darly is a true "unicorn" in the home bike repair industry. He is a man of character as well as technical skill. I can assure you that I will never have anyone else repair or maintain my bike. Daryl is awesome. My boyfriend and I bought bikes during the height of the pandemic. We look forward to riding our bikes on the canal a few times a week. Unfortunately, my tire got a flat from a cactus spine. Since my bike was out of commission, I used my boyfriends bike to go for a ride. He's a lot taller than I so I had to adjust the seat. He has been in operation for 10 years, but this is the first time I have used him. I found "Gears To You" through a Google search for local bike shop and boy am I glad I did! I reached our to Daryl and within minutes I received a response to my e-mail. I also reached out to some brick and mortar bike shops, and well, I am still waiting for a response to my question. His pricing is very affordable and saved me time by not having to take my bike to the local bike shop and waiting a few days for them to get to my bike. I had a flat front tire on my mountain bike and Daryl fixed it right away. My appointment was at 9am and Daryl texted me to tell me he was on his way. He even arrived a little before the appointment which was great. I gave him my bike and he opened his trunk and unloaded his portable bike stand and got right to work.
