We are a family of six and have seven bikes that needed love. Some were simple, just needed air and a look over. A few needed new tubes, one had a chain that kept falling off, one needed new tires, and one needed a full tune up, new seat and brakes fixed. I used to take our bikes down the road to a local bike shop but I felt like they were constantly needing repair and it was both expensive and time consuming to get them over there. But then I found Stay True Cyclery! I found them here on Yelp and decided to give them a call. Ray, the owner, was very easy to coordinate with and came with supplies to our home to fix the bikes. He was friendly and efficient and got our bikes up and running. One of the bikes had a deep valve and he had to order the tubes but he came the next week and installed them. It was an awesome experience! Before Ray, I didn't know I could have someone come to our house and get us all taken care of but now that I know, he will be our go to for life! I was able to book an appointment on the next day, which I am sure is pretty rare with any mobile service like this. Ray showed up on time and ready to take care of the bike services. This was the first time I had our E bikes serviced so I was a little concerned about overall health of the bikes. He did a great job going over what he would do as well as what to expect at the end. What a great experience. I was STRUGGLING to get a tire off a Segway NineBot e scooter. I tried every trick I could find on the internet and just could not get the bead over the rim to remove the tire from the drive wheel. Raymond came to the rescue. First of all let's be honest - when you can get a service to come to you instead of dragging your junk to them is a huge differentiator when looking for help. He also quoted me a completely reasonable price. I also had an e bike (Rad Power) with a sticky front brake that was cutting my throttle. He was on time (even a couple of minutes early) and was a really personable dude. He knocked out my projects (I'm sure there was some cussing in his mobile workspace with that tire) pretty quickly. He charged me what he quoted me and I was really satisfied with the quality of his work. He didn't nickel and dime me to death, upsell me on junk I don't want or need or any of the other things you hope to avoid. Stay True will definitely be my go to for my e bike needs from here on out.
