BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT PURCHASE A VELOTRIC BIKE!! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ROGUE ELECTRIC CYCLERY IN PHOENIX!! Battery is terrible. Warranty with Velotric is worthless. Rogue sells you a high-priced bike, pockets your money, and takes no responsibility when things go bad. I paid $1,500 for a new Velotric Fold1 in late 2025. By Spring 2026, the battery (with a full charge) would go only 2 to 3 miles, then completely die. After cooperating with Velotric's warranty department to troubleshoot, they concluded what was obvious: it needs a new battery. Only after several weeks of back and forth troubleshooting did they inform me they have no batteries in stock and it would be another 2 months until they had any. They provided no compensation of any kind for the major disruption, nor did Rogue Electric Cyclery. Both Velotric and Rogue Electric Cyclery continue to sell new very expensive Fold 1 bikes that come with new batteries. However, neither Velotric nor Rogue is willing to provide one of those batteries to cover a customer's legitimate warranty issue. I am still waiting for a new battery covered under warranty. read more

I recently purchased an Aventon Ramblas along with a bunch of upgraded parts. Dave built the entire bike and upgraded all the parts for me, and I could not have been happier. The bike is a dream. I can't say enough good things about Rogue! My son had completely disassembled his electric bike to have it painted, and of course did not label or categorize the parts during disassembly. I found this shop here on Yelp. I have been restoring and re-purposing a 1991 Specialized Stumpjumper for urban/paved path riding, but had some problems getting the rear hub adjusted. So I came to the shop and was greeted with a smile by Dave. I must say that I am extremely pleased with all the service Dave did on my bike. I've been dropping by for a while now to get my chains tightened up and lubricated on my electric wheelchair of all things! I thought it was similar to an e-bike setup so I figured I'd give them a try. I'm glad I did. Everyone I've worked with has been extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and the service has been fast. I recently switched over to air filled tires and they're able to fill them up there as well which is a massive help! Since they focus on electric bicycles primarily, there are limits to what they can take on, but it's really nice having a shop in the neighborhood for basic repairs. If you're looking to try out an e-bike, you can rent them by the hour. You can also buy and have them repaired there, and they have several different styles. Some are street-oriented, some are designed for off-road use, and I think they even have e-bikes for families. The store is very easy to maneuver around and has a good selection of e-bikes that you can check out before buying. There's also a wall of accessories in case you need something like a bike lock or some more tire goop. The Desert Ridge area is packed full of paths for riding around on, whether it be bike lanes on the street, extra wide sidewalks, or winding paths through neighborhoods. Like the name of the area implies it's right on the ridge of the desert, so there's plenty of flat off-roading In the surrounding desert to explore as well. The JW Marriott resort has a nice winding road to travel down with the golf course on either side of you I'd highly recommend riding through. There's even some underground bike and horse tunnels to get you across streets in some areas. read more

I came to Yelp to find help, and out of five shops, Rouge was the only one to give me an upfront quote. At the shop, I was greeted with great customer service, knowledgeable workmanship, and great prices. He even helped me get my bike in and out of my car. I will be back for my bike needs. Just purchased a Lectric XP 3.0, my first e-bike. Apparently the rear fender was slightly out of alignment during shipping. It made a horrendous noise. The rating for rogue was excellent so I went ahead and took my chance. I met Dave, a more affable helpful and knowledgeable bike mechanic you will never find. Dave was happy to grab that little heavy monster from the back of my SUV and take a look until he found the problem. He test rode it and made sure everything was up to snuff. I had a lot of questions about E-bikes in general and all of the answers rolled off his tongue. This is definitely my new go-to bike mechanic! read more
