I drove here from California because my mother had a medical emergency. Because I drove, I brought my road bike. I woke up one morning to ride and my tire is flat. I had issues with the axel reseating. I called The shop to see if they could take a look at it and change my tires. Because I was from out of town, they had it done in less than one hour. What incredible service. Not to mention their mechanic was pleasant and helpful. It was great to get back on the road quickly. read more

My front tire was losing air and needed a new tube. I phoned my old bike shop (new ownership now) and they said they were really busy but to bring the bike the following week. A neighbor highly recommended Bike Boss so I sent a message requesting a quote and Richard got back to me within a couple of hours. I took the bike in the next morning and Richard put a new tube in the front tire while I waited. I bought an old adult tricycle and took it in to see about rear axle problems. They took it apart and said he had never seen this type of axle. He tried several ways to repair but unfortunately was unable to remedy my problem. He told me the trike was worth money and not to junk it. He then gave me the name of a competitor who was experienced with older trikes. I was 30 minutes in his shop and did not charge me anything. Very friendly and will get my future business read more

Richard knows how to fix your 2 or 3 wheeler properly. He has all the commonly used parts and pieces in stock and can get the exotic stuff within a week usually. He has all the specialty tools required to work on today's bikes and trikes. He also stocks a good selection of parts for DIYers like me. I would trust Richard to fix my daily rider if I ran into something I couldn't do myself and that's the highest praise I can give anyone. A big bonus for dealing with Richard is that he's usually open 7 days a week. There are few, if any, shops in the East Valley that offer this kind of customer service. read more

Richard, is the Bike Boss. I showed up out of the blue with a flat tire and he was happy to fixed it for me on the spot. He suggested up grading the inner tube and adding a flat sealant to help prevent future leaks from thorns. He repaired my tire quickly and charged a fair price. Hands down I highly recommend the Bike Boss. Thanks for you help Richard 4/20/2020, Just had a tune up and he nailed it. Said it would take 3-4 days but he called me the next day to say it was ready for pickup. There are several bike repair shops closer to my home but I will continue to use the Bike Boss. read more

My nephew needed some work done on his bike. The crank and pedal assembly area was not running smooth. I took the bike over to Bike Boss one morning for an assessment. It turns out all it needed was a new bearing installed. The old bearing was worn out, and running rough. That afternoon, the bicycle was repaired, and working fine. My nephew was able to pick it up after his high school class, and ride it home. He has no issues. The price was also good. It was not atrociously expensive. I definitely recommend them. I am thinking about getting an all terrain bike that I have refurbished, and may ask Bike Boss to take a look at it, and see if it is worth getting refurbished. I am expecting it to needed some significant work. The shop is near to where I live. Will determine if it is worth it soon. I wish the owner of this shop well, as it seems that he hardly gets any business. read more

There is an old adage that says: "the customer is always right." It doesn't literally mean that the customer is always right; it means that you treat the customer that way. You value their patronage. That cannot be said of this bike store. It's more like the customer is always wrong. Because they caused a problem for me that they would not fix, I ended up having to go to another local bike shop to get it fixed. Will stick with that other shop. read more

My husband found this local bike shop and I absolutely love them! We dropped off our son's bike as in person school begins tomorrow and he is dying to ride his bike! The weather is nice and it is the season! The location is a bit hidden as many of the office suites appear to be vacant but it's right across the street from Garcia's! Just look for their advertising flags! The pricing is right and the service is prompt. We highly recommend this small business and will be back again soon! read more

I saw brands like; Cult, Odyssey, DK, GT and Mission. I am writing this review for one reason & one reason only. I would like to say that Richard the owner of Bike Boss is one of the nicest people I have met is a long time. I called his shop about problems I was having with my bike & he told me to bring it right in and if he could he would fix the problem. So I did and he did also. He stopped what he was doing and took a look at my bike. Then he proceeded to take care of my problem right away. He had me fixed and ready to go within a half hour. The cost !!! I could not believe the charge for fixing my problems were so low & reasonable I had to leave him a tip. All I can say is I have found me a bike repair shop for life, and that is the BIKE BOSS I will go there to get any work done that is needed & know that it will be done right and no extras added to what is needed to be done. Richard is a HONEST MAN and a great bike repairman & knows that people are struggling & he is very fair on prices so much so I could hardly believe it.
