Edit to respond to Randy; you misunderstand the budget notes. When I checked in the guy at the counter did a search on the computer and said the tire I need starts at $45 and they'll call to confirm before ordering. I said anything up to $60 is approved without a confirmation. A set of two well-reviewed tubeless tires is $50 online, see image. I was charged $60 for a single solid tire, which is far worse, as explained by YOUR check-in rep. You took advantage of my pre-approval to order the most expensive tire approved. I ordered a tubeless tire FROM THE OEM for $35 including delivery, see image. So now I need to spend $50 for Archer to install a crappy $60 tire plus $35 for the correct tire and another $50 to have someone other than Archer replace the brand-fing-new tire that I didn't want. update: you can clearly see that the owner of the company wrote a comment stating that they are doing everything they can to work with the customer which is me. their original response was deleted and that said we are working to make this right which shows guilt. that was deleted and replaced with what is there currently. in no way shape or form have they tried to work with me at all on any level. april 2026: i filed a case in small claims court mid april for the maximum allowable amount of $5,000. the paperwork was served and also the owner, randy got served with another case a few days apart from mine from the landlord of their previous location located on apache boulevard in tempe. The company is seeking backed rent in the amount of $55,000!!!! Thats right, fifty five thousand dollars in backed rent! Shortly after the company got wind of both of these lawsuits they decided to file for bankruptcy which puts everything on hold or dismisses any court proceedings unless you join the bankruptcy which if timing allows i will do so. but let's not forget the most important thing here. The most important thing to remember is they're working with the customer to resolvele the issue. Resolving it for who? Yeah, them of course! Im still tapping my foot awaiting a relsolution that does not put me in a negative because of their dishonesty, boilerplate excuses, overcharging and threats etc. i knew something was drastically wrong with this company when i witnessed employees (and i have it on video recording as well) lying to the police, and lying to me to prevent me from moving forward with the judicial process. When something like that occurs there's no telling what somebody or a company will do next because they feel they can operate outside of the law, have one sided contracts and and not be held accountable for it; and when somebody tries to hold them accountable they run to avoid it with bankruptcy. if I'm not able to join the bankruptcy due to statute of limitation issues, then watching this business close it's doors is certainly good enough for me **this update covers a timespan from 4/2026 through 7/2026. read more

Wow. I mean wow! These folks were friendly, knew their product and ours which is tough. We have a Terratrike Rambler and many local bike shops look at it as if it were from Mars. They were nice enough to do the quick job without even taking our trike out of the car! They said it would be much easier all around. Walked in with a flat tire, got sold a tube? Sell me a service too. I need to go home it's 102 degrees outside. Walked back to my job just to find out it's not the right size. Walked back again just to be told "we don't do refunds on tubes and that it's the same size I've been doing this for 23 years, I can show you I can put it on myself." When you enter the shop and the first person you see is clearly busy/preoccupied with whatever he was working on... bad start. But wait, it gets worse... The guy finally breaks away and spends less than 60 seconds explaining what they currently have in stock, then excuses himself and does not return?!? Clearly he was only interested in a big $$$ticket sale $5-10k Or, maybe he should be in a different profession... like gathering shopping carts in a parking lot. This place is a bust! I bought a RadRover 6 Plus e-bike for Christmas. It needed some adjustments to make it more comfortable, so I took it to Archer's Bikes in Mesa AZ. Brett helped figure out what I needed, & after several attempts at loosening a screw, into the back it went for extensive work. Needless to say, my simple adjustments are taking several day, several parts, & several bad words (but not by Brett). He was a real champ in diagnosing what problem(s) needed fixing, created a work order, & hopefully, will call in a few days with happy news that my bike is ready to ride. My daughter got her bike stolen. We went to Archer's to look for a nice used bike. They gave us a really incredible deal. (Like half off!!) I think they took pity on us. And it made my daughters day. She was so excited to get a bike (that we could afford) after she was so upset about her bike being stolen off of our front porch. They made me a hero for my daughter. And her smile has never been so bright than it was today. What we like about Archer's is that they get good quality bikes and refurbish them to resell. We usually buy our bikes from them because we know they are a good value. Pro tip: pay a little extra, about $25-50 a tire, depending on the type of service, to have them secure the tubes or tires in such a way that they don't go flat so quickly. (for some reason in our neighborhood our kids get flat tires within a day or two, but when we pay to get our tires outfitted by Archer's, they stay inflated.) These guys were great at helping me pick out my bike. They listened to what my needs were and made a great recommendation for a Cannondale. They even told me over the phone that it wasn't put together yet, but by the time I got to the store a few hours later it was assembled and ready to test drive. After riding my bike around our home I didn't feel it was the right fit for me. I tried to return my bike 2 weeks after purchasing and was told there are no returns. These guys are great - they've done warranty work on my Himiway Zebra eBike twice and they're honest, competent, and diligent in tracking down warranty parts from the eBike manufacturer. I found the guys working there to be knowledgeable about eBikes and mtn bikes in general, and they do what they can to save me $ (like when I asked if I needed to replace the brake pads on my eBike, and they could have said "sure" and charged me for it, but instead told me I probably had another 6 months of use on the existing pads). We went to try out two e-bikes with the possibility of spending close to $6000. From the time we walked in we were put off by the lack of customer service and rudeness. After we demoed a couple of bikes, all the salesman did was to trash the bike we demoed (Yamaha Moro) trying to sell us more expansive bikes. I bought a rather expensive Full suspension E Mountain Bike a few years back and it was in need of some repair so I could ride in a little bike rally in Gold Canyon. I showed up and said was it possible to get my tires redone (new silicon in tubeless tires) and new hydraulic fluid bled for my brakes, right now. They glady agreed. I was not expecting this, but I asked anyway. What an incredible experience similar to the one I had when I first bought the bike. They have the largest E bike selection in the valley and the customer service first rate. You will not be dissappointed with selection of product and first rate service. Great local shop with awesome workers. I had the pleasure of being helped by Zach, who was so incredibly patient and helpful in my decision making. I let Zach know I had very little biking experience and wanted to get something to start training for races. He showed me multiple options and let me try out the used bikes I was looking at, which was crucial to my decision making. I was able to find a bike that fit my needs, skills, and size without much trouble. He was also again, very patient and kind as I went through practice rides (with my low skill level) and mulled over the choices. Additionally, he was a great resource for determining what other accessories or equipment I would need without being pushy or trying to upsell me. Zach also took the time to show me in depth how I could fix a flat tire on the fly. In the end I bought a bike, helmet, and starter kit with flat fixing gear. I did not expect to buy any ebike because I did not even bring my bike rack installed suv. Soon I walked in this shop, Anthony was very friendly and showed me yamaha ebike. Looks great so I test ride it. Omg, loved it so much. So I asked him how much it cost? Said $5500 a ebike. Wow, more than what I expected. I bought a new Haro downtown for my sons Christmas present. Within two days the handlebars, back axle and brakes were loose. Brought it back and supposedly tech tightened every to spec. with in days the brakes and pad were loose as well as a flat tire that had tubes that were supposed to have slime in them. Guess not. when came in to talk to Anthony about the issue he agreed their was no slime and gave me a tube and then proceeded to argue about the time frame of owning the bike and loosening of components as normal wear. I do not recommend spending good money here, not worth the problems. Revised: I received a call from Brad that afternoon letting me know he had already looked into the issue. I took my Rad City Step-Through e-bike for repair. I was told both the controller and motor were bad and needed replaced. Curious why both would go bad at same time, I was told when one goes bad it can affect the other. I searched and found a Rad approved shop in Tempe. It turned out to be only the controller. It now works fine. If I had believed Archer's, I would have seen more than $300 in extra costs. read more
