We went into at least 6 stores. Out of the 6, 2 of them greeted us. The rest didn't even acknowledge that we were there. I had commented to my husband how bad the customer service was at Arizona mills mall. Like no one wanted to be there. UNTIL we walked into the vans store. We were instantly greeted by Julia, as we split up and shopped around Julia checked in with my husband and told him about their sales. Julio asked me how I was doing and if I found anything, just making friendly conversation even. I didn't find my size, so he went above and beyond and looked in the back. I would have given up and just walked out of there without purchasing anything. Chris rang us up and was also super helpful and friendly. Vans also offers a military discount and this store had a ton of clearance and a great sale on top of the clearance.

I ended up with a pair of shoes that I didn't even expect to like (they were so comfortable!). SO shocking- a shoe store with few options for me! Total first world problem. It wasn't super busy when I arrived and gave the employee my PO paperwork. I noticed that they have a fancy 3D foot scanner like my gym shoe store, so I knew I was in good hands. The guy gave me some time to look around and pick out a few styles I liked. He was kind enough to also pull some similar/recommended styles for me to try on too. I went in thinking I'd leave with a pair of ugly Tims but left with some mildly-decent-looking black sneakers, after trying on about 10 pairs. Pretty painless process thanks to the staff!

They did not have any nice flats or evening shoes. It was mostly running shoes and sandals. I even looked on their clearance racks but didn't have any luck. I did find a super cute pair of Birkenstocks that were only $30 so I did purchase those. The gentlemen working was very polite and friendly.

The box was completely crushed and the shoes had clearly been worn and returned. We went to the local FF location in Gilbert. The clerk could not have been kinder or more helpful. She apologized and said that quite a few customers have had similar experiences with items shipped from the warehouse and she wasn't sure what the problem was. We've had great luck with shoes we purchased in stock at FF. I just won't order anything to be shipped in the future. It sounds like it's convenient, but it ended up being a hassle and we never got the shoes we wanted bc they didn't actually have any new ones in stock I guess. We ended up having to order them from the Birkenstock website after all. Definitely not the end of the world, but Kind of a bummer. ---- Not much of a selection. We found a style of shoes my daughter wanted but they hardly had any sizes in stock. We had to get the right size shipped to our house. They normally offer a veterans discount but they won't do it if they have to ship them to you. It's not expected of course, but they have a large sign that they participate in the veterans discount but bc their inventory was so limited, we couldn't use it. It seemed like we were kind of annoying the cashiers by asking for help. They definitely need more stock.

Good Price and Super Fluffy Slippers!…read more I stopped into this famous footwear location because my slippers at home fell apart and I wanted some new fluffy soft goodness to keep my feet happy when I run around on the cold tile. At first I was worried because I couldn't find any men's slippers, so I asked for some assistance and the guy who help me. Me in the correct direction where the men's slippers were a little bit tricky in their location as they were next to the kids shoes and women's. I ended up finding a wonderful pair of $40 fluffy leather with super full for lined interior. They are great and keep my feet super toasty now and have nice traction on the bottom too. All in all I am as happy as I could be with my new slippers and would recommend this place to anyone.
