Our latest tech offered his personal phone number saying that he would come out of this latest attempt to fix our problem failed. Sure enough, it failed. I called the last tech who promptly sent me back to the 1-800 number. I feel like this problem is just a little too complicated for the technicians working at Cox Communications. We were there about two hours with a wonderful young man named Caesar. He is very talented, educated and thorough when it comes to dealing with another service provider and moving the service. Consumer Cellular didn't make it easy but Caesar knew how to navigate around their process and set our new service up in my name. He helped me with Equifax as well to temporarily lift a freeze on my credit report so Cox could run a credit check. It was interesting watching him move quickly and smoothly on our phones and his computer navigating the various screens. He's fast, efficient and knowledgeable. I love this location Everyone who works here is wonderful and customer service oriented. I will use this location anytime I need service.

They appeared to have three or four staff working. Nobody said anything when I walked in. They told people that came in after me to sign in. I'm not sure how long all the waits were, and the check in kiosk wasn't helpful at letting you know. Surprise, they have a check in after you enter that just says Hello on the front. Apparently you can get Cox Mobile as low as $30 per line for up to five lines. The black Friday steal allows you to get an iPhone 17 Pro on them with eligible trade in, must be why the sales person kept trying to get me to get one. I wasn't impressed with the assistance online, so I wasn't expecting much from the store. After my name was called the person tried to sell me a phone. I know it would lower my price, but I don't need an additional phone, even a burner though I'm sure some people could use that. They've got music playing pretty loud, so I couldn't hear the associate too well. Once my name was called, about twenty minutes later, I spent about five minutes with the associate. I need to return my old modem within 10 days, but he told me I could just pay for it. I'm sure my many years of renting it paid for a couple of them.

I hooked it up to a 4gb hard drive I was not using and "Poof", no more $100 per month TV bills and I now had a 4gb DVR which is good for thousands of hours of recorded shows. All the channels came in perfect except 12 NBC. I moved the digital antenna all over but no luck. So I did some research on TV antennas and came across Free HDTV AZ, and the owner TJ. He had a $50 off coupon on his website so for $250, TJ stopped by, provided and installed the antenna with pole mount, and professionally ran the cable down my wall and into my house and hooked it into the back of my Tablo! Boom, now I got all the channels including channel 12. So, $415 later (approx 4 month Cox TV bill) I have free TV! If you are a DIY person you can get an outdoor antenna and mount it yourself and save $100. If you are not a DIY then call TJ @ 480-206-2407. He also will install your Tablo for an extra $50 and your Roku $25 if you need him to. Now a word about Tablo. It is a streaming and DVR for your over the air free tv all in 1 little box. It is compatible with any streaming device like a Roku or Fire Stick, etc. With a Tablo you can stream the free TV to any TV in your house that has a Roku like device. You just download the app on your streaming device and you are in business. You can get the recorded programs at any TV too. Also you control the Tablo from an app on your phone if you want to. The cheaper Tablo I bought has two tuners. This is the 1 I bought. Be aware that having 2 tuners means you can record 2 show at the same time only. If you have 4 people in your home you might want to consider the upgraded one with 4 tuners. The quality of the TV picture and the recorded shows are HD. Truly amazing. Mario was on time, very professional, did a FANTASTIC job on the installation, and I am 100% satisfied with the install and performance of the antenna. Even my wife (who is very much OCD) is glad we went with the roof mounted antenna. The reception is way better than I hoped for, and we get nearly twice as many broadcast channels as we did with the amplified indoor antenna. We ran the antenna cable to our HD HomeRun DVR box which uses our router to send the broadcast station signals to our iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and 5 TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks. After placing us on a brief hold, she confirmed that a technician would arrive between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM... on a Sunday! Honestly, we weren't sure it would happen--but right at 8:40 AM a COX truck pulled up in front of our house. The technician was extremely courteous and professional. He fixed the issue quickly and even gave us his personal cell number, saying, "Anytime you have an issue, call me." That level of service is rare these days. WHAT A GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE. After about 15 minutes of investigation, I find it's for non-payment. I have had automatic payment setup for years and it still shows up as active. So how couyld I not have paid?
