Today, I just wanted a carrier unlock on my phone. Not only did they argue saying it's not possible, but I wasn't even given the phone number to do so. Instead the employees decided to speak Spanish anytime they spoke to each other, but then would pivot back to English when speaking to me. They could've just told me that I could go online to file an unlock request. Instead, they gave me false information and also told me I'd need to find a corporate store to service my account. Made zero sense. Decided to do a google search and just unlocked my phone on AT&T's website within minutes. I really find this store to be incredibly unhelpful. It's worth driving to Goodyear and going to the "corporate" store as they refer to it. At least they help with my requests.

Misrepresentation + Missing Receipt at AT&T Buckeye (818 S. Watson Rd, Ste F-104)…read more On August 27, 2025, I went to this store to sign up for the Value Plan with a First Responders discount and home internet. I was told my activation fee would be waived, I'd get an extra $20 discount, and internet equipment would be ready in 2 days. I purchased 4 phones and was charged $60 tax per line ($240 total)--but I was not given a receipt for that payment. The only receipt I received was for $0 down on internet. When I returned, the story changed: I was told the First Responders discount didn't apply, there would be no hotspot, and the price would be $159/month even with the discount. The store manager, Marco, refused to call customer service for clarification or cancel my service. Because of the conflicting information and missing receipt, I filed formal complaints with the FCC, BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and verifying discounts before paying. This was a frustrating and time-consuming experience that should not happen especially to first responders and their families. Visited Aug 27, 2025 | Location: 818 S. We pay over $250 per month, and yet we can't send a text in our home. The other day I couldn't even make a phone call or pull up a webpage. I ordered a Network Extender on August 15th. I was told it would arrive in 2 days. It has been 34 days, and we still have not received it. If you live in SH or Verrado near the mountains, do NOT get Verizon. The signals used to be barely good enough...now they are horrible. We will have to switch phone carriers and internet providers. We have visited the store and called customer service many times over the past 5 weeks...nothing has changed or improved. Plus, the employee on the phone told me that the tower in our area is now 37% oversaturated!! Does Verizon have any plans to change this or improve this?!
