This store uses deceptive sales practices. They will tell you the price of a new phone and tell you it "includes" a crafted 5 in 1 bundle. (Screen protector, camera lens protector, charger, cord & case). What they don't explain is that the bundle is $150. They expect the customer to ask how much is the phone without the bundle. Obligatory: if I could give it 0 stars, I would. My ordeal started in November 2021. I gave them several chances to rectify the issues (yes, multiple) and that's why I waited to write a review. I've also given myself some time to let my frustration calm so I do not write out of anger. Below are the facts. The biggest takeaway for you to know is unless you absolutely and unequivocally know without a doubt what you're doing or what you're getting (GET IT IN WRITING), do not come here. Like seriously, don't even think about it. BIG LESSON LEARNED on my part. We've been with Verizon Wireless for over 15 years and to be treated like nothing but a cash machine to them is infuriating and have lead me to seriously consider cutting my losses and go with another provider. 15 years of loyalty completely unraveled by one store experience. My husband and I went to the store in November to upgrade our plans. We had the grandfathered unlimited plans but wanted to see what they had to offer. Verizon had sent me a text about getting $25 off if we switched to their current unlimited plans and we thought maybe it was a good time to upgrade. Everything initially went well. They offered us a discount on new devices with my husband's trade ins. They told us how great of a deal we were going to get on our monthly bill with our employee discount, the $25 off/mo text, and the discount we get for multiple lines. A month later, we get our bill. We find out, the sales associate, WITHOUT OUR CONSENT, added a cellular plan to my husband's new watch. Never once did he mention the watch came with a cellular plan. Here's the rich part, they REFUSED to give us any compensation for the old watch! We returned the new watch and told them we never consented to a data plan. I understand the watch has already been sent out but seriously, this is equivalent to robbing your customer without giving them any compensation. Sidenote: After several long, multi-day conversations with Verizon Wireless' customer service (which took a LOT OF TIME OUT OF MY DAY), I was eventually able to get some money back. However, instead of one lump sum, Verizon gave me compensation via monthly discount. From November 2021 through April 2022, there was always something wrong with our bill and I had to keep going back to Victra to get it resolved. It seemingly gets resolved when I'm there but the same or another issue arises on the next billing cycle. For example: 1. I was being charged for 2 iPhones that were supposed to be free because we got two new lines. The charges would show up. I would go to the Victra store and they would "resolve" it. Then it would show up again on the next bill. Or they would tell me it will "show up fixed" on the next cycle. 2. I never got my $25/mo discount which they said would be honored when I showed them the text. It wasn't until a month or two later that they tell me the discount is reduced if you get more than 3 lines. $5/mo may not sound like a lot but 5/mo is $60 savings a year and if I were to stay with them for another 15 years, the amount of time we've been loyal customers, that would be a $900 savings so yeah, that's a lot. 3. They kept charging for a device on my line even though I never got a new phone. 4. Employee discount was never applied. I guess that doesn't exist anymore with the new plans. Would've been nice to know. Instead, I was told we would continue to get the discount with the new plans. Pretty big lack of training there or maybe he was being dishonest intentionally. I honestly don't even know anymore. The last straw was when the last time I was there with the manager that's been there since this mess started, agreed he was going to give me that additional $5/mo for 30 months. He couldn't make it permanent and while I initially did not agree to the deal, I realized that was the best I was going to get so I went back to tell him to accept his offer. That's when he told me he was leaving this location in a week because he was going to college but he assured me he was going to take care of the $5/mo for 30 months discount. He typed it into his phone and everything looked legit. Like finally, they're acknowledging they should right this wrong. Welp, the next billing cycle came and gone. no additional discount. Went back to the store, met the new manager and it took them over 2 weeks to tell me they aren't honoring what the old manager promised me. "You think I have more power than I actually do," I think is what they said after inaccurately telling me the old manager only said "he'd look into it". He wasn't going to "look into it". He offered to do it and then said he'd get it done. I'm STILL getting charged for my two supposedly FREE PHONES. Both lines have a monthly charge of $17.08 each but a credit of $16.66. You're supposed to charge $17.08 and credit $17.08! I am at my wit's end. You win Victra. I am so done with y'all. read more

I wouldn't even give them half of a Star. They're horrible. The service is horrific. The phone plans appear to be great deals, but they are not believe me. There is so much hidden fine print, bait and switch. Verizon over charges. Every month I've been on the phone hours with customer service and billing with the same promises that it was an error on their end and someone will get back to me. No one gets back to me. It's been a vicious cycle and now I'm stuck with them for the next two years or I pay $5000 me in . it's been a nightmare. Do not go to Verizon. read more

At no time ever in a service related field do you tell a customer that you are in the process of assisting- to leave because the store needs to close!!!! NEVER !!!! I wish I'd read the reviews first. I've been in three times now in the past 2 days and still haven't been able to pick up my Apple Watch. Every time I come in there's someone yelling at the employee. Once I finally came in when nobody else was there, their Internet was down. The second time I came in, I was waiting for 15 minutes and when it was my turn, some woman walked in and cut me to berate an employee. I don't normally leave reviews, but this is just ridiculous. I pretty much got scammed into purchasing two tablets that I did not need, the discount or deal to discount the tablets have not been honored for over a year. At this point I'm just throwing in the towel and leaving my lesson. I will never buy anything or even walk into another Victra shop. They are the masters of giving good customers the run-around. Try calling any location to ask for a manager to help resolve an issue and staff will say they are not there, on lunch, vacation, visiting another location, anything but available. Their home office is not much better, no return calls from anyone on my issue. My best advice is to only work with real Verizon retailers, Victra practices fraudulent sales tactics. read more

I've been a valued Verizon customer for over 15 years. My daughter had an old Samsung phone and finally decided on a new Samsung but she wanted everything copied over. To my surprise this location would only do it if I paid them $30.00. This is not what customer service is about. Take your phone to another Verizon store that doesn't charge for customer service to get you old phone copied over to your new phone and turned on. Or go to AT&T. I checked the price for a cheap Samsung S23 case not Otter Box and they wanted $60.00 the same case on Amazon is $41.00 with horrible reviews. One dissatisfied. Verizon customer! Update- so I pay the $30.00 and the rep says I'm good to go as he hands me the phone back. Thanks I get home and the phone doesn't work, no text, no phone, nothing. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would. We traded in our phone on September 23rd with Jordan and a week later Verizon corporate contacted us telling us they hadn't recieved our device. We went back to the store to speak with someone and they acted like they didn't know what we were talking about. They couldn't provide us with a tracking number for the device we turned in. It is now a month later Verizon still hasn't recieved the device we turned into them and were being billed $400 for a device we turned in to them for a new phone. Colby assured us the day we went in he would call us the next day to follow up and he never did. Now we are stuck with a bill for $400 that we are trying to resolve. My 86 year old father, with assistance from my wife, recently had to trade in his old iPhone for a new one on a Verizon plan, and figured he would use this local Verrado establishment for the exchange. When they went in, everything was going good until it came time to finalize the sale. The salesman stated that he couldn't give them the full rebate, but they had to take an additional product to make up the difference. When they came home with the PureGear power pack, I questioned why, since we have 3 sitting on the shelf that have never been used. I went back to the establishment the next day, and talked to the same salesman who sold him the product, who I knew from past experience that he had only been working there a few months. I questioned why he would send an 86 yr old man home with something he didn't need, and was told that he had 2 choices: either take the product or forfeit the rebate. When I questioned this logic, I was told that this was the way things were done with Victra, and that he did have the choice to take nothing. Now our choice will be to not deal with this establishment again. read more

Just a PSA, don't use the Verrado Verizon store. First it's not actually a Verizon. They told us by swapping out our phones to new ones we'd actually save money every month. Wrong! My bill went up more than $20/month. Too late to do anything now. There were a few other inaccuracies but this is the most annoying. I didn't need a new phone but I'm all about saving money. read more

I just want to warn people about something I have gone through with the Verizon authorized retailer here in Verrado. I purchased a new phone there in June and as I was finishing the purchase, the sales rep said he could throw in a Free tablet. I thought it was a no brainier so I took him up on it. Well, it turned out that the tablet was $300, which I have been paying for monthly. I called Verizon to complain about their dishonest sales tactics and they couldn't do anything. I finally, after maybe 7 phone calls to the store, got them to accept a return. I returned the tablet over two months ago and they still haven't processed it. I am still paying on a tablet that was "free" and I no longer own. Be careful with them, I feel this isn't a one time thing and part of their business practice. Poor customer service, angry and very confrontational. This is not real Verizon store. They are only authorized dealer and can't handle 100% of services Verizon offers. Go to Dysart Verizon that is a real Verizon store. Everyone in the Verrado area is starting to realize that this place is a waste of time and could care less about providing Verizon level of care. read more
