I had great service there fr Fatima. She helped me find a new phone but also when I needed to return for help with knowing how the various functions worked, she took a long time answering my questions and helping me to succeed with my new phone. I needed more assistance in downloading my previous email inboxes and made an appointment for the next day she worked. I arrived right at 10 AM but another customer apparently arrived just before I did. It was difficult for Fatima to deal with both of us with no other employee in the store and two other customers arrived with no other employees. Total scam artists. Traded in IPhone for new iphone. Just noticed they did not give us credit for the trade in at all. Will go argue with them to get this reversed, but not happy. Also my wife was convinced to get some other options which so far we have not been able to get to work at all, like Disney. My husband and I visited the Verizon store this past Saturday to address issues with our phones. During that visit, we were offered what appeared to be a favorable trade‑in promotion. We were told that my device would receive approximately $1,100 in credit and my husband's device $800, resulting in significant savings. Based on those representations, we agreed to proceed. We paid the out‑of‑pocket amount disclosed to us at the time of purchase, and the salesperson explicitly stated that there would be no additional charges. We returned the following day to turn in our phones, and another salesperson reassured us that our bill would not increase. We were even told we could select two additional items at no extra cost, with the clear statement that our monthly bill would remain the same. Despite these repeated assurances, our bill dated 4/17/2026 reflects charges totaling $400, including undisclosed activation fees, missing trade‑in credits, and an unexpected device charge. None of these costs were disclosed at the time of purchase or trade‑in, nor were they authorized by us. Under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act (A.R.S. § 44‑1522), it is unlawful for a business to misrepresent or omit material facts in connection with the sale of goods or services. Failing to disclose mandatory fees, misrepresenting promotional credits, or assuring a consumer that no additional charges will occur--only for those charges to appear afterward--falls squarely within the type of deceptive or misleading conduct the statute prohibits. We are requesting immediate correction of our account, including: Application of the full trade‑in credits as originally represented, Removal of all undisclosed or unauthorized charges, and Written confirmation that our billing will reflect the terms we were promised at the time of sale Free and clear of the new phones and devices for payment for the fraudulent representation of the items purchased. Saturday 11/12-2026 were the dates of the visit. The salesperson was a Mexican guy on the Sat 11th, and on Sunday, a heavy-set white guy whose brother is the manager of that store was seen on the 12th. The interaction at this store started off great and quickly went downhill. We switched from At&t and were in store for 3 hours just to be sent home with both phones and the new one didn't work because the representative put the old account number in incorrectly. We were told to come back and when we did he couldn't help us and told us to come back the following day. We went to the store off of Estrella and Esmi was so helpful and got our problem fixed in 20 minutes so we didn't have to come back the next day. Will not be returning to the Cotton location. read more

Insulting staff. When they try to sell you items, they treat you well and make a ton of promises. When you come back with an issue, it is not their problem, and they basically tell you to go away. read more

This is the worst store ever! Staff is incompetent! When a staff member messed up ordering my wrong watch, he tried to fix it by adding a new watch and disconnecting my watch but actually disconnected another family member's watch. By doing this we incurred multiple disconnect and connection charges. We were quoted incorrectly on our monthly promo fees. When I tried to reach out to the staff member by text I was expected to go back into the store for a third time so they could fix their error. He then would ignore my texts. I reached out to a manger who never responded back to me. I will not be returning to this store ever! Misquoting, excessive charges, incompetence and poor work ethic is what this store is all about. read more

I am giving the store two stars because the representatives were friendly and personable - but the definitely need more training. My husband and visited the store with hopes of switching our family from another local carrier to Verizon. 1. We had our own phones and were planning to bring them onto the new plan. The rep began importing our phone numbers before any of us realized they were still locked by the other carrier. Now we were left with the option of having no phones while we waited up to 2 weeks for the other carrier to unlock the phones or purchasing new phones. We purchased new phones. The rep, however, had already charged us the "activation fee" and now would be charging us the "upgrade fee" as well. He told us that he couldn't fix that and we would have to call Verizon and have them fix it after the fact. After calling Verizon we were told that this could have and should have been fixed in the store. 2. We opened the account under my name, but my husband is military and qualifies for the military discount. We were told that we would need to wait at least a full billing cycle to add him to the account and apply the military discount. While I was on the phone with Verizon about issue 1, she added my husband to my account and said that this could have and should have been done in the store when we opened the account. She said the rep in the store could have verified military affiliation at that time as well - now we would need to go through ID.me to be verified. 3. We purchased new phones with the $800 free for a new phone promotion that was going on at the time. We were told that we would be billed monthly for the price of the phone, but the fees would be reimbursed. Before leaving the store I noticed that we were only being reimbursed half of what we were promised. Again, we were told that it was something we would need to contact Verizon about. Thankfully the representative I spoke to at Verizon (when I called about the other issues) was able to fix this too - again, she said there was no reason that the rep in the store couldn't have fixed this for us immediately in the store. 4. The rep in the store asked if we wanted a case and screen protectors and quoted us prices. We agreed. After everything was rung up I looked more closely at the bill - each item was $10 more than he had quoted us. When I brought this up to him he blamed supply change and forgetting that the prices had gone up. Honestly, I think I should have been given a reimbursement for the difference in the price I was quoted and the price I was charged. The rep we dealt with was friendly and personable so I am choosing to believe that this was a lack of training issue and not that we were being swindled. We won't be going back to this store; if we need a Verizon store again I would rather drive further to receive better service. read more

Came in with every intention to start service and switch over from a different carrier but the associate helping us made me feel as though I had horrible credit by implying I had to put down a big down payment and was told I couldn't port my number from a different carrier. The associate kept referring to getting new numbers and never even attempted to run my credit. Once I made my point clear that I wasn't going to get new numbers, the associate made me feel rushed and could tell that he just wanted to move on to the next customer. Bummer, really. Especially because I used to work for T-Mobile and so I'm very familiar with all the ins and outs of the wireless carrier industry. I ended up simply driving to another store in Avondale (which turned out to be a corporate store) and had a much better experience. Was greeted with a smile, was not judged by my looks, ran my credit and turns out I qualified for $0 down! Guess you can't always judge a book by its cover? I walked out with 2 new lines and was able to port my numbers over from a different carrier with no problem at all. Avoid this store in Goodyear. read more

After my previous phone took a dump on me, i tried to order a new one through the web site but didn't want to wait two days. So i decided to pay the extra $20 for the upgrade fee in store to get the phone same day. When it was time to cover the fees, I was told i had $84 in taxes i had to take care of today. After leaving and checking me email for the receipt and comparing with the verizon web site, she lied to me about MSRP and charged me $10 more for the phone than MSRP was. I also noticed she charged me $20 for "set up and go plus" which was at no point disclosed. It is extremely misleading to tell me i have $84 in taxes to pay for only to find out that $30 of it was extra money in their pocket stemming from outright lies. I will not be returning to that store and plan on steering as many people away as i possibly can read more
