A couple of weeks ago I went into the Verizon store on 2nd St in Beaumont ca. To purchase a new phone.When I walked in I was immediately greeted the store wasn't busy so Mitch assisted me. After I made my purchase he transferred all my Samsung infro to my new phone. There was a problem transferring my bookmarks from the old phone Joanna came over to assist. They both worked to assist me they were very patient, professional and a pleasure to do business with. They made the experience of purchasing a new phone enjoyable not stressful. When i was waiting Brenda came over to see if i was having problems. She was very polite and helpful. I would recommend this store and the employees. There's not a 0 star I can put or I would! Biggest scam store I've EVER dealt with! Go in to store to buy a phone and they told me they had a promotional program going on for the Edge program. FREE Bluetooth earphones, otter-box phone case and shatter proof screen protector; plus waiving activation. Ok got me sold! Oh no no no.. Scam! They charged my account! Went back to store and everyone said oh can't do anything since it's a "She said he said ordeal!" But we might take the stuff back, but we'll have to look at it first! Really my kids already using the earphones and the shatter cover is on his phone! We didn't need any of what they gave free, but we did it cuz it was free and my son was excited by the earphones! Then I asked for a customer complaint form and they said "we don't have one in store you'll have to call the 1800 number!" "Standby I Sure in the Heck AM!" I have been a Verizon customer for over 25 years, first with our land lines (remember those) our cell phones and the internet (FIOS). Last week I had to upgrade my phone because it was damaged, I ordered one on line to be shipped to the store. I was helped in the store by a associate by the name of Rocio. She helped me with the icloud transfer and she was very patient and eager to help me. I had a lot of questions and would have not been able to do this myself. I am not all that phone savvy most of my questions about my phone I call and ask my grand daughters. She is to be commended for her patience and willingness to help customers especially seniors. It is always a pleasure to be treated in a manner that you feel important, she took her time and we went over the time allotted for the transfer. The guy said it would be forty dollars I asked if that included installation He said that they could do that as a "courtesy but that they would most likely leave air bubbles and that I should pay a professional to do it. I am so happy about my trip into Verizon in Beaumont today. My phone was stolen while I was on vacation, so I've been without for two weeks. Asurion sent one to me, but between my jet lag and a serious cold, I could NOT get it set up over the phone with their tech. Lisa, in the Verizon store, was not only willing to help this germ-ridden old lady, but she was a total joy. She got me all set up in no time. My faith in people is restored. read more

My experience in this Verizon store has always been negative. However, pretty much any interaction with Verizon is in general a nightmare. I Edged Up at a Costco and was emailed my shipping label information. After trying to open the email with three different computers, I still could not open the email. I called Verizon and they told me to go to the store where I purchased the phone but that was not an option as the store is not nearby. I was then told to go to my local Verizon store and they could print out the label. I did just that. After waiting for 20 minutes for Rey to do God-knows-what, he came back to tell me that they no longer print out shipping labels for customers. Seriously, Rey, what the heck were you doing in the back of the store? It shouldn't take that long for you to know if that is something you can do. Another guy with red hair was equally rude and of no help. And why is it that before leaving the parking lot, a very nice Verizon person on the phone shipped the label to my house? Each time I go into that Verizon store I find they have hired more incompetent employees. The employees in this store treat the customers like they're such an inconvenience and that the customer is stupid. I have NEVER heard the same answer from Verizon employees. If they didn't have the best service, I would leave them in a heart beat. What a waste of time on my day off. read more

Came in super frustrated after already being in today with the paperwork to submit for a reimbursement and being told it wasn't the right paperwork. Three hours later and lots of frustrating phone calls I realize I DID have the right paperwork and the guy who first helped me was not right. Anyways round two Sammy was really helpful despite the fact that I was upset and sorted everything out for me to send in my bill and get reimbursement and even gave me my tracking number. One star taken off for the first trip- come on guys make sure you hear our questions and take the time, wasted hours of me day. Purchased two jet pack hotspots (model 8800L). Both failed to activate, both came with inoperative SIM cards, both needed administrative changes to reprogram an inaccurate default setting. I spent several frustrating hours online, on the phone with Verzion support, and in the Verzion store in Beaumont CA. I was allowed to return one without a restocking fee, but not the second one. The manager's approach "tight fisted" and condescending. It was more important to him to charge the restocking fee than keep a loyal customer. This was the most unpleasant experience ever in 18 years as a Verizon customer. By the way, Verizon corporation refunded the $50 fee to my account. So I'm staying with Verizon while staying out of the Beaumont store. read more

Another update. I finally got my Sim card yesterday and worked with a young man for two hours this morning trying to get the Sim card in the new phone unfortunately he had me putting it in upside down. I received a text at 7:30 this morning telling me I had to return my old phone and I could be charged up to $500 so I got on the phone immediately speaking to this man who had the Sim card wrong and He was never able to help me get the Sim card in the phone. Then I talk to Ralph. Ralph was able to do everything for me over the phone and told me the last person was telling me to put the Sim card in upside down with the gold showing instead of the white part showing after we got the Sim card in he help me to boot up my new phone and told me how to shut off my old phone later today or tomorrow before I return it. I've been on the phone for over four hours in total. I am happy with Ralph but what a waste of time with the first person today he was not even tech support and did not know what he was doing. Thank you very much Ralph I'll give your company three stars but you get five stars from me. He also made sure that something that I was promised to me but never sent was ordered and sent to me. So in conclusion I'm done Except for returning my old phone after I erase everything myself. read more

I bought an Apple Watch Thursday from Mason. Well Friday I realized it wouldn't receive any text from non Apple users if it was away from my phone. Which defeats the purpose of having it but when I bought it mason said yes it worked him and his wife have had all 4 versions it's great. Well I go back Friday mason wasn't there and a worker tells me I need my phone with me it just needs to be reprogrammed. So I leave come back with my phone and this guy is gone. So I have a new younger Hispanic guy help me and he comes back and tells me "the Apple watches don't work like that. They will only get Apple users text or calls when away from the phone." So I leave livid!!!!! I wanted to shove my watch up masons ass! I come back on Monday and mason was with someone which was prob good cuz I thought he lied to me so I would have been rude and a new guy helps me I think his name might have been Justin but not sure I was to annoyed to look at his name (30ish biracial has a 6 yr old son very nice guy) he helps me out and 3 hours later I leave with a new watch and it actually working. The guy that helped me in the end was 5 stars and so was mason when I bought the watch. But the workers all telling me something different pissed me off and wasted not only my time but their time as well. They need to train the employees on products in group settings so they all have the same story about the products when being asked about them. read more

I wish I had looked at the reviews before visiting this store. It deserves every bit of the one star rating it has. One employee who calls herself the store manager BRENDA CANALES is definitely the cause of this rating. She is the most unfriendly retail store people I have met and definitely has no grasp of customer service whatsoever. Yesterday I drove 20 miles to the store to have a phone replaced for faulty speakers. This process consumed roughly 2 hours of my day - there and back plus the time spent in the store. I received a fedex tracking number today and found that even though I was asked what address to ship the phone to (which I provided), the tracking number showed that the phone was shipped to the wrong address (an old address down in Orange County). When I called to have the fedex shipment updated BRENDA CANALES was insistent that I had to come to the store. I was not about to waste another trip to the store - especially given this was their mistake. I kept telling her that this was unacceptable, but me being the customer seem to not make any difference to her. She actually had the guts to say that the only reason I was upset was because she wasn't doing what I wanted her to do. Well, that was exactly right - I should not have had to waste another part of my day to go back to the store to correct what she admitted was their mistake. I also asked to be transferred to her boss and she said the store manager was off. I said there must be a contact number for him and she said that this was not an issue she was going to call him about. How infuriating. After over a 20 minute conversation and me being beyond upset at this point she said I could fax in my id and they would correct their mistake over the phone. Really, after all this upset and arguing they did have an option that did not involve me driving to the store. This was the worst experience of customer service I have ever had. She should not be working with the public and this store need a complete revamp of personnel - starting with BRENDA CANALES. Chalk this up to one more 1-star rating from another dissatisfied customer. When my contract is up I will be canceling Verizon. read more

Had do business for my elderly Uncle at the Verizon store in Beaumont Ca. Great customer service representative with defensive store manager. When transaction was long and involved due to Verizon policy, I noted that this store has poor seating for older and disabled customers. Store manager stated that it was customers responsibility to ask for accommodation and brought out uncomfortable standard folding chair for my Uncle. Note: I have been to other Verizon stores in the past month that have excellent seating for all their customers. So if you have to deal with this store customer beware. Try to avoid bring family members that need accommodation during long transaction or better yet check the reviews of Verizon stores and take your business elsewhere. read more

After walking out of a go wireless Verizon store in Yucaipa today, I called an actual Verizon store on 2nd street in Beaumont. I called ahead of time to check stock on 2 phones. Dave answered the phone and he was helpful and professional. When I got to the store, I was greeted by Michael the manager. I asked for Dave. Anyway, long story short I was helped by both of these guys and they made the experience better than I could have imagined. I will ask for Dave or Michael from now on. They were decent guys. Went in on Jan. 1st after trying to make an appointment but the app said this store does not take appointments. We knew we probably wouldn't get new phones that day but someone would at least help us to get an appointment or something! When we arrived an associate came out and told us yea we can't help unless you have an appointment so we told him what happened and he said you just have to make one through the app or call. I asked can you help us and he jumped back and very sternly said I cannot touch your phone which I apologized for, because i knew there's be Covid rules. We asked him if they even have the phones we want in stock (iPhone 12 pro max) and without checking stock he said no you can't get those anywhere. So he didn't help. He told us just to call the Verizon number and since he clearly did not want to help us we just said whatever and left, we didn't want to waste any more of his time or ours. So, I finally make an appointment on the app for January 30th. Before going to our appointment I call Verizon to see if they have the phones we want. The call center employee was very helpful and told me she couldn't check exact stock but based off their last inventory told me they had a lot of pro Max's so there should be no issue getting new phones that day at our appointment. So we went in thinking it would go smoothly and we get the same rude sales associate that came out the last time!! We told him what phones we wanted and before we started anything else he went to the back to check if they had the phones. He came back and said yes! We have the 12 pro max but only in 256 gb storage, not a problem we will take those! So he said ok let's sit down, you still have to do everything through the app but I will guide you through it. He was going through it so fast just saying ok scroll to the bottom and just click agree so I asked ok what am I agreeing to and he said it doesn't matter or it's common knowledge which made me feel ignorant so I just scrolled slowly to see what it said. I got to a part where it showed me 2 lists that said here's what your getting and one was clearly longer than the other so I asked ok what's this? And he responded again, it doesn't matter, your not changing your plan at all so it doesn't affect you. So I asked again but which one am I getting? And he said your plan isn't changing so your keeping whatever you had before so none of this other stuff matters. I thought this was horrible customer service because what if I wanted to upgrade my plan? I still have no idea what I'm paying for. Continuing on, when we finally got to the part when we chose in store pick up, or ship to home, or whatever options we said ok we want it now so what do we pick? He looked at the screen and said hmmm? It doesn't have the option to pick it up same day the system must not be updated so you'll just have to chose 2 day shipping. We were confused and asked, soooo, you have them here, in the store, you told us this, but since the app says you don't, we can't buy them??? And he very nonchalantly said yea there's nothing I can do about it if the app says we don't have it there's no way for me to sell it to you. So we chose 2 day shipping and today feb 5 I got an email saying the order has processed so it's still not even shipped out. Horrible customer service, made us feel dumb, and like we were wasting his time. I wish I could post the entire story but it goes over the character count. Extremely dissatisfied read more

Went in to the store because my Son's Iphone said no sim card for the second time this year. It always seems like an issue for them to take a look, in this case the card was just loose and it took them 20 seconds. But somehow it always turns into, you are eligible for an upgrade. Yes we know, and the rep becomes pushy and it feels like a car dealership. My family is honestly thinking about another carrier because we just are not happy with Verizon customer service and the feeling of always trying to get me to pay for an upgrade. This store is such a disgrace I am saddened that this store is in my hometown because I would not recommend to anyone! Jeff the Manager is useless and so is the staff, they do not provide good customer service, nor are they knowledgeable when you ask a simple question. I have experienced poor service on 3 incidents. They lie and are very lazy, the employees at this location need on going training, they do not smile and are not genuine as they interact with their guest. My husband and I visited the store on 2nd street in Beaumont Ca. to upgrade his phone to an iphone. I already have an iphone so the sales associate did not have to "sell" my husband the phone. He had already decided to go with the 6s. I would characterize this as an easy sale for the sales associate. Howevere, while we were there and after she finished with my husbands needs, I purchased a new screen saver, which was 25.00. While putting my phone case back on the sales associate cracked my case in 2 places. Of course, I was not happy. When I pointed this out she said, "Yes, I cracked your case, I'm not denying it. What did you pay for it? Like three or five dollars?" I found that question to be very arrogant. Bottom line, after she spoke with the manager, they did a 7.00 dollar ajustment on the price of the screen saver. So now I have a new screen saver and a cracked case. Obviously, they haven't heard the last of me. I might add that the sales associate rushed through the process of showing my husband the significant steps to being a "new iphone" user. This is where you are much better off going directly to an Apple Store, and if one was near buy we would have. Maybe she thought I would show him the ropes, which I will, but that's beside the point. I needed to s/w the assumption line at 800 Verizon wireless so my complaint is not about a particular retail store. It took me three calls, 90 minutes, several transfers, a a couple hang ups to get this process taken care of and then it did not go w/o their errors for which I had to f/u again. Terrible customer service. I could not even speak with a supervisor as they were too busy with other customers. WOW....went in this store with my father to dispute an error that one the many SIMPLETON clerks that work there had made (obviously to make more money for himself money). So we asked to speak to the manager who was just as much was no help and seemed botherd. So long story short, he had to bite the bullet due some incompetent fool. And get this, the manager stated that she could not make the payment due to station where she was at because it no register, but takes my father to their stupid little kiosk for electronic payments. She puts in the money for him and since my father had the exact amount of money + change, so now its ok for the dumb bimbo to cash the change at the cash register! It's already bad enough that this company gives your personal information to the government but worse due to POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.....AS ALWAYS. I bought the Verizon USB anywhere internet modem so that I would not have to cancel a contract. I used this little USB device for several months and I loved it. It worked great and provided me with great service for almost a year. I then moved out of state and to an area not covered by Verizon. So I went online and I turned my device off. Little did I know that there was some fine print and Verizon turns your device back on after 90 days. Then 160 days later Verizon begins calling you asking for you to pay your late bill long after you have forgoten all about them. I asked the Verizon rep. how much data was used during the time after they turned the device back on without my permission. They said none, but they still claim I owe them. I will live in a van down by the river and eat the asses out of dead rats before I ever pay or recommend anyone to use Verizon for anything other than signing up an enemy for revenge.
