I've been in a lot lately. Prompted by my cell phone quit charging in mid-August. This was discovered on a Tuesday evening, when I went to charge the phone. Hauled my sorry ass to Verizon the next morning. They said the charge thingy (technical term) was corroded. Usually occurs from water. This phone ain't been no where near water. They mentioned the shower. For Golly Ned's sake, I do not take my phone into the bathroom when I'm showering. Crap in a handbag. New phone issued. They said I would have it by 8 p.m. the next day. I was at 30% charged, and I was panicking. The new phone arrived at 8 a.m. the next day. I hauled my sorry ass to the store at opening (10 a.m.) with the new phone for them to transfer all my info. Mindy did it in no time flat. It would have taken me 17 hours, and I would have done it incorrectly. I continue to have ridiculously poor reception at my house. I return to the store. Ask to call the tech guys. They checked my residential location and found that I don't have a tower on all four quadrants. PLUS, I live at the bottom of a hill. COME ON FELLAS! It's 2016. I give 5 stars for accommodating my situation. But I still need to go outside to talk on my phone. I have considered numerous times changing carriers, but I've been with Verizon 27 years. If I'm going to get the same sorry awful reception, I'm stickin' with this. read more

Went in for a new phone as one may have gotten lost on the Batman ride at six flags a couple weeks ago. Tahj was immediately ready to help us out and get everything set up. Within the time we were there, I can not say how great Tahj was. So personable, great attitude, very knowledgeable, and honest about pricing. My phone's probably due for an upgrade soon so you bet I'm gonna go back to see Tahj to help me out! read more

I just wanted to thank Nestor Brito for all his wonderful help today. I upgraded to an iPhone 17 from an old iPhone 8 I had, and he was as helpful/professional as he could be. We also passed the time talking while the phones were transferring data. He was very friendly and just a pleasure to speak with. He is a certainly an asset to your company and made my time there quite enjoyable. Do NOT work with this company. They position themselves as Verizon but they are only a representative. The sales rep I worked with overstated discounts and falsely claimed the price was locked for the term of the agreement which it was not. When trying to get resolution, Cellular Sales will say you need to talk to Verizon and then Verizon will state you need to talk to Cellular sales. They stick the consumer in the middle and you will have no one there to support you. If you need service from Verizon, go directly to them otherwise you will lose transparency and support. read more

My husband and I worked with Jared Massey this past Saturday, 6/15 to purchase new phones. Jared was AMAZING to work with. He took his time to answer our questions and find us the best phones for us. There was no pressure or upselling. Because our phones were older, it took awhile to transfer information to the new ones, but Jared was very patient and diligent in making it happen. Do not shop here and really consider buying through another provider. All these Verizon stores like to act buddy buddy and tell you you can buy through them and they can take care of issues when they come up. They don't. They outsource a lot of their issues to other companies and still charge you to do work on your phone when other companies have already floated the bill. Not to mention they're mostly all "individually owned" so if you buy something in one place chances are other "individual owners" won't help you cause they have no association with the other store even though they both have the Verizon name plastered all over their stores. This has been my favorite Verizon store for 20 years. They never disappoint. Both Nick and Polo took great care of me and got me amazing deals! Who knew some deals are stackable? You can miss out on this when you order online! Both so professional and polite and great at their jobs. This is a well-run store. Far better than the Kirkwood or the Creve Coeur branches. Run. Do not come here. For years this was a corporate Verizon and was always our go to. We had no idea when we came in to get new phones this was now "cellular sales" and not an official Verizon location. They are now a retailer although nothing on their signage indicates this. Our service was pitiful. Activation was all messed up. The people who work here are rude. Do your self a big favor and do not come here. read more

Everything has changed at this location. The store was closed during Covid surge and this was my first time to return them. I was getting ready to pay my Verizon bill and noticed on page for a note saying I had a past due payment and service might be canceled. However on page one it showed that my Prior Mill Payment and Hippa and Received and all I owed was the next future payment. I was not sure how to handle this so I went to the Verizon store. It is no longer a Corporate store and they have totally remodeled. Nick greeted me at the door and handled the situation quickly and efficiently. The note on the bill was obviously an error and he confirmed that I was not past due on any payment. He was extremely patient and pleasant with me. Signed up in 2018 with 2 news lines. The salesman ran me through the ringer, lied to me about the phone promotions, and signed me up for extras like phone insurance that I specifically told him I didn't want. It took me 3 months and over 10+ hours on the phone and store to get it all cleared up. I kept their service thinking it was a fluke and didn't want to judge the business based on one terrible employee. Fast forward to 09/2022. Signed up for a new line on my account, and guess what? The exact same thing happened. After 2 months and multiple hours on the phone, plus being insulted by the customer service rep on the phone, I decided to spare myself a bunch of time and effort and completely switch providers. I'm not saying all Verizon stores are this terrible, but this location has a track record for terrible customer service. Plus, if you need anything fixed, don't bother calling customer service bc you will get hung up on multiple times before actually getting to speak to a live body who does not speak English as a first language and will insult you throughout the entire conversation. The guy I spoke with at this Verizon location explained they run promos, but when it comes time to adding them to the bill, there is often times a glitch in the system and they have to put in a ticket to resolve it. I don't know about you, but a multi-billion dollar company should have better technology to ensure they take care of their customers. If the employees know there are systems problems, the company should empower those employees to resolve the issue themselves instead of having to wait months and hours on the phone to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service. Buh-bye Verizon. I moved over to AT&T, got 3 brand new phones, and am actually saving money on my monthly bill. read more

Meghan was flat-out spectacular to deal with. Verizon's corporate customer service sucked and damn near lost a $2k/year, 10-year old account over their unwillingness to resolve an issue. Not an idle threat as I was within 2 weeks of the end of contract date on an account with 3 smartphones when I visited the store. Meghan's ability to develop a creative solution to the issue is the one and only reason why Verizon kept me as a customer. Very bad customer service. We are loyal customers of Verizon from 6 plus years with 4 lines. I wanted to change 3 years old paid off S9plus phone and Mr. Nick notified we are eligible for the upgraded devices. I opted for S21Ultra and Nick offered us $800 trade in for the S9plus and $1200 + tax for the S21Ultra. Two days after when I reached their location for the S21ultra. A new person (I don't Know his name) asked me to change the plan or I will get only $300 for my S9plus. The plan was higher monthly bills so I said I do not want to change the plan and would like to buy off the device. He told me it will be $1420 after tax and insurance plan. When I agreed to pay the amount, he asked me to pay in hard cold cash, no credit or Debit card. I was pissed...I am an American citizen and have been with the same location for more than 6 years paying my bills for 4 lines on time and they suspect me for fraud how can I trust them to give my money and business. Salesman flat out lied to me and put an additional $60 per month on my bill. I told him I wanted minutes, data, and texts, he added the protection plan, local hotspot, and international hotspot/data. I didn't get a chance to review his work before he completed the transaction, and when I questioned him about the charges on the receipt, he said he couldn't do anything about it. "Sorry, it was already there"! BS! He didn't apologize, he just tried to sneak it through. Dishonest salesmen, don't go to this Verizon store. Guy's name was Arlin or something. read more

Horrible customer service and the manager was very rude. Was there on Sunday and had to wait an hour before getting helped. When I asked where we were in line the manager gave us a long lecture loudly and allowed several people ahead of us. Horrible service! Do not come to this store. read more

First of all, I NEVER take time to write reviews but I really felt as if today deserved one! I even made a Yelp account just to write it. To be honest I switched to Verizon a little over a year ago from ATT and I wasn't all that happy about my decision. I still questioned it until today. Previously we had been using the kirkwood location. The employees of this store were friendly but it didn't seem they cared too much for the customers. I have been to both the kirkwood and Fenton locations with problems with my phone and both stores did the bare minimum to make me satisfied and sent me on my way. Today, we went to The Manchester location and I am so glad we did! I'm now completely satisfied with Verizon as long as This location stays up and running. Meghan, the employee who helped us was amazing!! She looked at every option possible to get me exactly what I wanted for way less than what I expected- she then helped us add a line for a great rate cutting my boyfriends bill to a third of what he is paying now! She was so friendly and even though the store was pretty busy she spent all the time we needed to make sure we were walking out that door with smiles on our faces!! She even had our one year old daughter walking out with a smile. I highly suggest this store, especially Meghan! Best of luck. (: read more

I went in to this store a few months ago and was told that I had an upgrade and would be able to get the new Note 5 as soon as it was available. Well the day finally came, so when I went in there today I was told by the cold saleswoman (after taking 30 minutes to look up everything, confirm I was a secure holder on the account, and check to see if the phone was in stock), that I did have 2 upgrades on my account but since one was for a hotspot and one was for a tablet I was out of luck. When I told her a salesman told me I had an available upgrade to get a new phone she seemed to not be able to compute how that was her problem. When I asked for a manager (which I never do) he basically told me I was out of luck. I was even going to compromise and do the "early trade-in" promotion, but the catch was I had to turn in my current phone. Reluctantly I agreed to that, but then they found the tiniest crack on the bevel of the screen (not even a part of the display that shows anything -- I'd never even noticed it) so I did not qualify for that promotion. Overall, no efforts were made to fix the mistake they had made telling me I had an upgrade, and I was treated like an idiot when I pressed further. When I finally do have an upgrade I'm certainly not going to this location. Stay away. read more
