At least for me they talked the talk, but they did not walk the walk. I had an older Galaxy S5 Sport that I dearly loved that worked fine except the charging port quit functioning. One place refused to work on it as it was too old. I took it to BatteryPlus and they said frequently the port just needs a good cleaning and they would charge me $20 to do so. After futzing with it for 15 minutes they gave it back to me and said it was not fixable and DID NOT charge me anything. As a last effort before buying a new phone I took to PhoneZone. They charged $45 to clean the port and gave it a 2 week guarantee that could apply to repairs if that did not do the trick. $45 is a lot to clean a port, but I loved the phone. They told me a pin was bent and cleaned the port. Their fixed was working in the store, but when I got home it would not charge. Back I went, only to discover that the part was not available, but they could buy a used phone to harvest the part from. But if I needed a loaner phone I would need to go to service provider to do something about the SIM card. It was sound way too much for me. So I decided to buy a new one. When I called back to tell to not buy a used phone for repairs, they offered to buy mine. I found that more than a little audacious. They are very friendly and talk like they could alter the spin of the earth, but in the end I just felt ripped off by them. Yeah, I know agreed their terms, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. The main camera on my Galaxy S5 Active had gotten pretty scratched up over the last couple of years. Great customer service! At first I thought the price was high for an iPhone screen repair but after calling around to about 5 other places nearby, phone zone was by far the cheapest. He spent a great deal of time explaining and showing me the problem and the fix. The repair didn't work the first time so they ordered a new part and replaced it again for free. This company will charge you $80 to NOT fix your phone. They held my phone for several months with no attempt to contact me to tell me the situation. Turns out, they looked at it, realized they couldn't fix it, but didn't bother to tell me. I figured they were just busy and it was taking a while to work on it. I finally just had to go in and tell them to give the phone back. I initially brought my phone in because it was having an issue with poor cell reception. The employee basically did a google search and reverted the phone to safe mode and I came back and got it a couple days later. Still no change. Still kept my $80. There might be one guy there who actually knows what he's doing, the rest are just family employees who know nothing more than the average person. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Completely terrible service. They will desperately try to scam you out of your money. Here's a tip...DO NOT pay them until they've completed the service you're paying for. They will tell you that there's no charge if they're unable to fix your phone...and that's completely false. If you pay them ahead of time they'll just say they were unable to fix it AND keep your money. If you want to throw away money, go give it to a nice charity or something, not this "company". read more

My iPhone 6 touch screen was no longer responding to touch. I took it in and the employee said it could be the screen or the mother board. He offered to do a diagnostic test for $20. I agreed and he said it was the screen. I agreed to pay for the screen to be replaced. Ten minutes later I was on my way, and happy for about two hours. Two hours later the screen stop responding to touch just as it did before. I returned to the store the next morning, and the same employee said there couldn't be anything wrong with the screen and that he would fix it for an additional $85. I told him that I paid for a diagnostic test the day before and I wouldn't have replaced the screen if it wasn't the issue. The employee then said there was nothing he could do for me unless I wanted to spend $85 or I could just go buy a new phone. Buyer BEWARE!!! read more

Ok. I have to say one thing about this place...THANK YOU for your help!! I had a mishap with my phone which ended up getting water damage and the screen went blank. I tried every trick of the book: kept it in Rice and blow dried it. Nothing worked but it worsen which I recommend to open the case and keep the battery dry. After that, I took it to the mall and they couldn't figure out the problem. After many visits to places, I tried to take it in to the Apple Store and they all indicated water damage which without insurance...you will pay the replacement fee. I pretty much gave up until I drove around Manchester and found this place. The guy was amazing and very resourceful. I left my phone for a couple of days and to my surprise...my phone was fixed. I know they were no guarantees and 50/50 to get it fixed but to have my phone fixed after countless people telling there is no hope...this place I would recommend!! So now my phone is fixed and I am extremely happy! read more

Water damage iPhone, took to phone zone because they said it would be fixed in 24 hours, ended up taking 3 days, they fixed it without calling to advise parts and labor cost as promised and apology was "oops my bad" Paid $200+ to fix, no warranty and now I have a non working phone.
