Update review based on getting a 2nd opinion on a water damaged device…read more Last year after my iPad Pro was water damaged I took it to mobile device doctors and they looked at it and accessed it could not be fixed. A year later I figured it was worth a 2nd opinion from a 5-Star rated company before purchasing a new one. The 5-star company was no only able to repair the screen issue but ID'd that the previous service rep (Mobile Device Doctor in this case) put a service sticker with the wrong type of iPad (2nd gen vs 3rd gen which makes a big difference) and more importantly why I am leaving this review is some internal parts were not put back into the iPad (ie board covers). Whether this was intentional (integrity issue) or unintentional (sloppy work), want to make sure the public is aware. I've give the company an opportunity to rectify the issue by issuing a full refund for the service and deem what they think is fair for leaving out internal parts.

The gentleman behind the counter was professional and they obviously have been doing this for a long time. My phone screen was toast and I needed to get some info off of it. He offered to let me use a screen for $50 and get all my info off to my new phone and then he would just put the broken screen back. Considering the cost of a new screen is 300, this was good news. I spent a good hour or more trying to get some encrypted info off my phone. I needed to do more research but the technician was with me all the way. He gave me time to do what I needed to do and helped me troubleshoot what I needed to with no stress or pushiness which made a stressful situation a lot less hectic. I knew fixing my phone would be expensive as phones are crazy expensive these days so it is just the way things are. TLDR Price might hurt, as tech is expensive, but your device will be fixed by a professional with a good attitude. If you have to spend it, come here.

I was at first told 230 and then it became 250+tax and Apple, who only takes an hour whereas they took 3 hours, charges 159+tax for the same job and they do it properly. Overall f*ck that place, F*ck Tracy, and F*ck Tracy's parents for birthing such a disgrace. UPDATE: Now my screen randomly has developed 2 black spots 3 days after this repair. Don't come here UPDATE: After Complaining and making a Case with Ubreakifix I was told to wait for a "Case manager" to call me, so I got the call and when I told her everything she basically told me that we're not doing sh*t to cover for my screen, and then when I expressed that I wanted to get the bulge repaired somewhere else (because obviously why the f*ck would I get my phone repaired again after they broke my screen and messed up the adhesive) she changed her attitude and started bi*ching at me, telling me that she would cancel the case. So now I am currently now waiting for their "Resolutions Manager" to tell me what they can do, also when I asked what they were going to do about her behavior and attitude, she told me in corporate terms she is getting a slap on the wrist and she is still keeping her job. When thry gave me the pieces all taken apart, they claimed it was all there. When I walked out, I saw that they'd kept the critical part, I walked back in, and their behavior was so dishonest, menacing, mocking and I saw it was truly not worth fighting with them.
