He told me there is nothing they can do other than offer me another battery which I have already said that I will not accept. Why would I want another horrible product? My Taylor scale brought me back August 19. When I walked in with my scale, I said, "It said LO, so I thought it meant I lost weight." Everybody in the store laughed, including customers. Good people at the store, good customers. Helpful in every way. Didn't get his name: took the scale, removed the screw and the cover, then the battery. Replaced the battery for $4.34. I needed a lawn mower battery for work. I brought the old one with me to make sure I got the right thing. I had viewed the Batteries Plus Bulbs website in advance to make sure they carry this and they do. When I pulled up and got out of the car I went to the back of my SUV to get the box with the battery and the employee on duty (Grant I believe?) actually came outside to offer me help bring it in. I declined since I'm capable but he got the door. He found the battery and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I left the old one there to be properly recycled. Amazing customer service. Just go to apple. I spent $40 less here than the $129 I would've at apple to get my phone screen fixed and it was given back to me without a working home button. I still had to pay the price of the repair even though it was in worse condition. To get a working home button I will have to buy a brand new phone as it is unrepairable. I bought the best battery possible and the most expensive one for my car, since day one the battery won't hold charge even though it's my daily driver after I get somewhere and shut off the car the battery goes dead in two hours. 1st contact with the store, they told me it's the car not the battery. Took the car to Maserati and they examined it and gave me a report that it's the battery. Called them back and they requested I bring the car so they can examine the battery again, did that, they said the battery is holding charge. Took the car to the BMW dealer that I work at and examined the car and they said it's the battery, also took it to meineke and firestone and they said the battery is the problem. Why would all these places lie and say it's the battery not the car if they're there to make money fixing cars????? I got all those reports because the way they treated me is not acceptable specially because I have a warranty and I'm a very busy individual, I will be in contact with my lawyer next week. BMW recommended that I buy the same brand battery and see if I'm still going to have any issues, we did that and all issues disappeared and battery is functioning well. Now I have a dead 300 dollars X2 battery sitting in my garage! Keep in mind, their manager is aware of the situation and multiple other employees as well. I had my iPhone battery replaced here a couple of days ago. I didn't make an appointment and they said to give them an hour. It was ready when they said and at a very reasonable price. They also checked the charging port but just cleaned instead of replacing. Wow- phone is perfect again and it was so quick and easy. And of course, masks and social distancing. They were all coordinating visits to their ailing Mother who was in hospice care in Chicago. DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE! I took my phone to batteries plus to get a new screen put on my phone because the screen was cracked. The crack wasn't bad but I didn't want it to get worse. The first time the screen they put on was faulty so I had to take it back. The second time the screen didn't work at all so I had to take it back again. The third time I received my phone in recovery mode. I had to work for 3 hours to get it to turn back on and when it did I lost all my phone data. I lost all my photos apps contacts and everything. After my phone was fixed the software was damaged and the brightness on my phone jumps up and down 24/7. It will cost me another $100 to get the software fixed and a Ton of my time has been wasted. Worst place on the planet for phone repairs!!!! read more

Cracked my phone screen, and brought it to Batteries Plus. They've fixed my phone before, so I thought to try it again. They fixed the cracks, but disabled my home button. They asked me to come back in to "try" to fix it. Batteries Plus admitted their tech guy couldn't fix the problem, but they still wanted him to try. I was without a phone for an entire day, and came back to the same broken phone. No one could advise me about what they can do to fix it. Didn't even get an apology. Called the store manager the next day, and he was no help. Told me they would talk to Apple, and he'd call me back in 15 minutes. An hour later, no call. I want my phone fixed. Will never recommend Batteries Plus to anyone again, and will be pulling all my business from this company. A major waste of my time, and money. Highly disappointed. read more

Great service. I had an iPhone that wouldn't work with most charger cords unless it was jammed in and jiggled around. Some didn't charge at all. I figured the contacts were worn and needed to be replaced. Turns out the charger port was jammed full of pocket lint. They cleaned it out and now works great. I was out of there in 5 minutes and they didn't charge me anything. I'll definitely be back. read more

After purchasing a new ceiling fan that worked for 1 week, I found myself at Batteries Plus. I stopped in on my lunch break and was delighted that I was only in there for a mere 2 minutes. I was greeted before I approached the counter and they tested the battery, sure enough, I had purchased a brand new ceiling fan which apparently came with an old remote battery. I went in for an automotive battery. I already looked up the one I wanted and called the store beforehand but let the person behind the counter find the proper application. He told me that I had TWO CHOICES - both were MUCH higher priced. When I told him I had already called to confirm that a lower priced one I needed was in stock he muttered, "oh yeah, I didn't see that one". I feel badly for the people who don't do their homework and are steered to spend more money. I abhor sales tactics that are less than truthful and I won't ever return. Why does a court have you swear to tell "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth"? Because leaving out something that cause the person to have a misconception is the same as lying. I have no idea if the clerk was telling the truth about 'not seeing' the lower price. But I would be sure to check things out for yourself before you shell out your money. read more

needed to get a new battery for my phone was told it would be about 1hr so I waited for it 4.5hr later no update on the repair about 5hr later someone talk with me said the new battery was in and working but the screen doesn't work any more so they would replace it they will have it shipped in 2 days this was on a 8-17-19 being it was the weekend it should of been in by 8-20 or 8-21 didn't get a call with any updates so I called them on 8-22 they said it was not in I called in every day to get any information I could but no one had any information by the end of the week when I called they had just got it in 7 days after the told me 2 day shipping ok no big deal it happens but didn't get a call so on the following Monday (8th day) I called them the new part did not work so they are going to try to replace it again 2 day ship again cool Wednesday rolls by no one calls to update me I getting upset by this time and called in to find out NO ONE KNOWS ANYTHING so I called again the next day no information again by Friday when I called in they said it didn't work so they are going to replace my phone ok. this is going to be 2 days ship also weekend so I called on Tuesday (4days on a 2 day ship) now one has any information on my phone called back every day to see what is going on whit this 1 hour fix that is now a 2 week of I don't know by Friday I was told that they had it shipped so should be in I would get a call guess what no phone still lol. so you can see I am not happy at all with this company and they want me to pay for the battery replacement still on a phone I do not have and still waiting on any information on when it would be in it is now 9-3-19 when I call they don't know the tracking number that would have a day that it would be in. just cant understand how they can have a tracking number but when I place an order on line from the united kingdoms they give me the tracking number with dates ship and day with time that it would be in because I need to sign for it, STILL DO NOT HAVE MY PHONE OR INFORMATION ON WHATS GOING ON WITH IT. if I cold give -10 on this I would of read more

A particular kind of light wasn't working in my home's bathroom and I wasn't sure what kind of bulb it was exactly. Because my knowledge in matters of lights tends to not extend past, "Screw it in and hope it works" I went to this Batteries Plus Bulbs location to seek out help. I brought one of the lights and the employee knew what I needed. While they didn't have the same wattage my light was, I picked up some lower wattage bulbs that just lacked 5 watts coming in at 35 to my bulbs 40. They told me how with the kind of light I was buying I needed to use a towel or such to insert it as my skin oils would cause it to experience issues--a helpful tip. The only thing that bothered me somewhat was they really tried hard to have me buy other items such as some regular bulbs even after I expressed how I had plenty already at home. Thank you to Cody at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Ballwin, MO!!! I took my cell phone to CPR in Fairview Heights for a simple battery replacement. I went into the store with a working phone, but left with non-working phone. Ugh! I then went to Apple Store and was informed that internal pieces of my phone had been removed. What??? (Let's just say, I do NOT recommend CPR in Fairview Heights). The Apple Store wouldn't touch my phone, and suggested I upgrade. I called Batteries Plus Bulbs and spoke with Cody. I explained the situation, and without any hesitation he offered to help. Cody installed a brand new battery, and my phone immediately took the charge. :) He also located replacements for the internal parts which were missing, and arranged (with the help of Chris from the Fairview Heights Batteries Plus Bulbs store) for the installation of these parts.
