This experience was positive from the start! I was able to book my appointment online and to get an estimate of the cost in advance. When I arrived, Seek (yes, that is the correct spelling ) was friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and exceeded my expectations. The service was prompt and done expertly which I appreciate tremendously. Another point worth mentioning is that their prices are reasonable and fair. I know because I had already searched around before finding this gem. I was surprised to see the staff not wearing masks during this 2020 pandemic, however; there was plexiglass running the length of the counter as a barrier. Except for the exchange of my device this was a contactless service. I would highly recommend Comm Depot for your technology needs and they will be my go to establishment. read more

Dishonest took apart my phone and tied to extort more money than they'd quoted. I could trade the room and said I'll find a different place. When thry gave me the pieces all taken apart, they claimed it was all there. When I walked out, I saw that they'd kept the critical part, I walked back in, and their behavior was so dishonest, menacing, mocking and I saw it was truly not worth fighting with them. Lesson learned. All my pics are lost. New $200 refurbished phone ..total loss. read more

Service was excellent. Everyone in there was friendly. They kept me up-to-date on my phone, even though they were very busy. Everyone was waited on as they walked in the door. I read more

I dropped my phone off and they called to tell me that I had only broken the screen protector and not my screen. Very nice feeling!

This is the absolute best cell phone repair/purchase store in the city. Super friendly very professional and straightforward pricing.

Do not go to these guys once so ever they messed up my 13 pro max screen I literally asked them did they changed the screen on my phone they gonna say no because it show Unknow display in setting when I got it back from them when they fix my baseband chip on my phone that was messing up my cellular data clearly they did more then just fix that I lost True Tone in It stated to have lines on my iPhone display in don't get me started on how the way it lags every time I swap my screen also my camera has some weird bubble in the back of it on my back camera like it wasn't like that before I gave it too then everything worked perfectly fine auto brightness,True Tone, etc the only thing that didn't work was my iPhone couldn't make or receive calls okay cool as soon as I get it bad all this stuff appears on my phone in started to act up then going say we charger 300$ for the 13 pro max screens what goodbye should've just went to apple instead because now they messed my phone up completely in I also believe they be using cheap screen replacement & cheap glass replacement on back of iPhones because the way how they be breaking easily when drop only from an inch is ridiculous I'll never go back to this phone store again they trash. read more

I wanted to say that my experience there was wonderful. My screen was going dark on my phone and the screen was cracked. I also wanted to replace the battery if necessary. He was very honest and told me I had plenty of battery life and didn't need that. The phone was ready in just over a half hour. I highly recommend them! read more

Sorry I don't have the young lady's name, but someone at CommDepot very patiently helped fix a problem with my cell phone. She was thoughtful & careful, but then to my surprise decided not to charge me! I'm so grateful & will definitely be back. read more

These folks have saved our butts with phone and iPad repairs a bunch of times, and at good price.

Excellent job repairing my shattered iPhone 6s display. Customer service was very pleasant and professional. I dropped my phone at 7:30am and dreaded having to deal with the hustle & bustle of the Apple Store once they opened at 10am. I also can't live without access to my phone. I opened my handy dandy Yelp app typed in "iPhone screen repair" and víola. After reading the reviews for Communication Depot it was a no brainer I headed right over. The young lady quoted me a 45 minute repair time. Perfect! This is about the longest time period I can function without my phone anyway lol... I returned in 45 minutes and although my phone wasn't ready, the additional 20 minutes wouldn't kill me. They also honored a Yelp check-in honor that I misread for $10 off the service of any Samsung product (not Apple). My mistake. Definitely recommend their service, I'll be using them for all my device repair needs in the future. Not only do they repair, they sell cases, phones and plans as well. The store is well kept with seating and a television for customers to wait in comfort. ~Christy read more

My display broke and the screen went black. I ran to my service provider T-Mobile and they did not want to give me a penny for my iPhone with the broken screen to upgrade. Sadly, I went back home to do a Yelp search and found Comm Depot after reading quite a few reviews of some repair stores. I visited their store in Cherokee street and they fixed my screen for a very reasonable price. They now have a happy and loyal customer. read more

I decided to give this company a try due to a friend who recommended them to me. I was immediately greeted when I walked through the door and explained to the representative that I need my screen replaced as well as a new battery. I was given a quote as well as a confirmation card to hold onto for my own records. Within approximately 30 minutes my screen was repaired , a new battery was in my phone and they also removed debris that was within my phone, due to water damage. Not only did I leave with new interior replacements but I also left with a great deal on a new case and screen protector. The prices here are extremely affordable and their customer service was top notch. Communication Depot has gained a new customer for life. Moving forward, I will now refer all of my friends and family members to this mobile repair establishment. read more

Excellent service! I walked in with a very cracked iPhone 6 which was repaired to like-new condition, including a glass screen protector, for less than the $100 price CPR charged me two years ago on an iPhone 5S, and in 30 minutes! I was very pleased and would recommend to anyone! I have a case now, too, so hoping the phone stays in one piece :) They are located on Cherokee just a few blocks from Jefferson, so getting there was easy. It is street parking, too. With plenty of little shops, bars, and restaurants surrounding, there's plenty to do in that short time you're waiting for your phone to be repaired! In addition to repairs, they sell cases, as well as phone services - I believe it was Boost Mobile. There are some chairs along one wall if you choose to wait. The gentlemen working while I was there were all helpful. So glad I found them on Yelp! read more

This was my spot to get everything fixed on my phone. I've bought two phones from them, fixed my screen 4 times with the. I was going into this place like every three weeks. No problems until I went to get my charging port replaced... I paid about 85 dollars for it. I buying chargers left and right because none of them would charge my phone correctly. a month ago today I had to pay 100 dollars to fix the same problem. After getting my phone fixed he gave me my old port back and said it wasn't you. It was the port that was used. It's not an official Apple supported part. I would definitely rather just spend 15 more dollars the first time around then just having to come back a month later. read more

Great shop and great people! Saved me this week with phone issues I was having-highly recommend! Thx so much!

Quick and efficient phone repair at a competitive price. I hope not to need their services again but I would go back if needed them.

if I could give 0 stars I would. you should not be advertising that you buy devices from the public if you do not. your website mentions it EVERYWHERE 0/10 do not reccomend. read more

Great service here. I shattered the screen on my iPhone 7 & had no idea where to go or how much it would cost to fix. I messaged them thru yelp to get an estimate & they replied immediately with the price ($69.99). I went in & got helped right away & they gave me a 30 min wait time & a coupon for a free small coffee at the cafe next door. I used the yelp coupon for a free screen protector (clearly i needed it!), this is my only complaint is that i don't like the protector, it makes the screen stick when scrolling, & more difficult to select on the keyboard... but it was free, i should've just bought a better one. They even applied he screen protector for me though which was very helpful. Overall a berry good experience & did not feel like i was getting ripped off like other places do. read more

Had shattered iPhone SE screen replaced. Fast, friendly, great price, super responsive. 10/10 recommend.

We took my husband's phone to have a cracked screen repaired. Once we arrived home, we found his phone no longer had service. We called and were asked to bring the phone back the next day. To make a long story short, it took 7 visits to the store but Mike stood by his word and made everything right. My husband now has a working phone and I appreciate Mike going above and beyond to make sure that happened read more

I had a cracked screen on my iPhone 6S +. At the Apple store I was quoted at $170 to replace the screen, and it would take at least an hour and a half to fix. They also didn't have my part - it would take 3 days to order a new one. That unfortunate experience turned out to be a blessing, as I looked for other options and discovered the Communication Depot. I made an appointment online, the price was $99, it included a free screen protector, and it was done in 20 minutes. There is no difference in the quality of service provided here vs. the Apple store. If you are dealing with a cracked screen, save yourself $70 bucks and a trip to the mall and just go here. It's a no brainer. read more

This place is legit for inexpensive phone repair! These guys know their stuff and don't try to sell you things you don't need. I've used them more than once to fix a cracked screen and to dry out s phone I got my phone wet. They also guarantee their work. Most of the staff is bi-lingual which is a nice touch for the neighborhood. Checkin for a free glass screen protector! read more

Negotiated for new quote twice. Owner told me he would get back to me in the morning next day. Nothing happened. And i tried another few times with exactly the same response, but nothing happened in the following days. I am tired of asking him again. It seems better to leave a comment here to warn the potential customers staying away from this store as the owner literally doesn't give a sh*t about customer's time. read more

Florissant location. Very kind workers. Very fast service(20 mins). Excellent price (got a phone screen repair). Update: Not even two weeks after getting it repaired my phone screen cracked even easier (cracked from drops that it preciously had no problems with even when it was already cracked) and worse than it was cracked before (most damage is right under the screen surface: have some dead/black spots, and phone freaks out and does things by itself now making it almost impossible to use consistently without a lot of problems). I am not sure if it is the poor quality of the replacement screens they use to repair, or reflection of the service quality, but my phone was much more durable (even without the screen protector that they put on after repair) and more functional BEFORE I got it repaired here. Wish I would have just gone to Apple/an approved Apple servicer to get it fixed. I have to lower my rating to a 2/5. Haven't checked with store but I assumed they will probably say the warranty doesn't cover what was most likely just a not great repair job so I basically just wasted $105 and now need my phone screen repaired again. read more

Took my iPhone in to have the screen replaced. When I got it back, there was a pixel missing on the screen. Round 2: they fixed the screen but then the ear piece no longer worked. I plug in my hands free cable, and WHAM, screen cracks again because it wasn't seated correctly. They refuse to fix the screen again, even though it hadn't even been 24 hours. ::UPDATE:: Since posting this review, Mike (owner of communication depot) reached out to me to help rectify the issue. We were able to come to a satisfactory agreement, and my phone is brand new again!!! You have to appreciate a business that truly wants nothing more than to make certain that their customers walk away happy. Thanks again Mike! It was a pleasure working with you today. Loving the new screen, the otter box, and the great service I had today. I really appreciate it! read more
