I was breaking out into hives because my phone was stolen and I was so upset. I still maintained a professional manner and kept my cool. I figured it out on my own. They were incredibly terrible to me. I have been a customer of this company since I was 16 years old. I am now almost 40. I WILL BE CHANGING PROVIDERS JUST BECAUSE OF HER AND THIS LOCATION. I have been very satisfied with the company this whole time but because of HER and THIS store I will no longer be helping them to get a paycheck by partnering with this company.

After about 25 minutes and no progress toward getting my appointment underway, I left. As a side note, one of the employees coughed non-stop without wearing a mask, so I wouldn't have wanted to sit across a small desk from him anyway.

Long story short, nothing worked and I couldn't get into Apple for a week. I couldn't wait a week! So I made another appointment at this store. Joe was the one who helped me the second time. I explained what had happened and that I had decided to just go ahead and get a new phone. He made the process super easy and fast. Unfortunately, that's where fast and easy ended. I won't go into detail, but I was there for three hours. There were a few big issues transferring everything from my old phone to the new one. Joe hung in there and figured it all out and got my new phone all ready to go. It was a long visit at the store, but it may be the best service I've ever received!

The other store (Brentwood) called and had them hold the phone (only a three left) and we were told to ask for Larry when we arrived. When we entered, we were greeted by another associate and when we said, we were told to ask for Larry, he spoke up from helping another customer and told us to take a seat at a desk. When he finished with the other customer, he quickly came to our aid. We explained how we wanted to do an exchange within the 14 days allowed. He understood and actually agreed with our decision and choice of new phone. He processed the exchange in a professional manner and his witty banter made us at ease and even gave us a few laughs. Listening to other reps working with their customers, they all impressed me with their style of selling and assisting the customer. This store is off the beaten path, so the store traffic wasn't that heavy. The store itself was clean and well organized, making it easy to shop. If you're in West County and need a AT&T store, I'd recommend this one.

Today…read moreI bought a phone from this store while the employees were friendly they were not very knowledgeable. I bought the phone and they were going to wipe my old phone for a trade in this process took over an hour and half and never was completed. I get in my car excited with my new phone, plug it in to charge and it won't charge. The battery went from 51 to 1 percent and the phone was acting funny. I went into the store to see what was going on and the associate basically told me they couldn't help me, then called what I assume the manager named bridgette and she as well was unhelpful, at least the original associate was friendly unlike bridgette. I left the store and went to the cave springs store in tears. The gentleman who helped was kind and informative. They helped solve the problem and set me up with my original phone and told me the proper steps to get my new one fixed. I called Apple and was told I was sold a phone that had non Apple parts in it, and the whole situation seemed super shady. I now will have to send my brand new phone, that doesn't work, to Apple and wait for them to send me a completely new one. Luckily Apple has senior advisors looking into this matter to see why I was sold a phone that wasn't legitimate. He helped the other person for a while and was chatting with him. It was finally my turn. While he was helping me, he helped a few other customers who came in. He would stop helping me and answer their questions and look up info for them. The entire time I was there he kept saying how swamped he was. Apparently only three people work at this location and the manager had the day off and the other person was in Vegas getting married. I mentioned that perhaps they could have had someone from another store help out. He explained that he "doesn't play well with others" and since they receive commission, he didn't want to share with anyone. I eventually had my new phone and was ready to go. He had me take my old phone with me so I could make sure everything was okay and said that I should turn it in within 30 days. I go back a week later. Again, there's only one person working. And it's him. He's helping someone and there is one other person waiting. I walk in and he says he's swamped and I should sign in and he'll get to me whenever he can. I explain I'm there to just drop off this phone. He says it wouldn't be fair to the other customers to help me even though it will take basically no time at all. Yet somehow it was fair to help other people while I was trying to buy a phone. He also said I could return it to another location. If he had mentioned that the first time, I would not have gone back there. He also put a screen on my phone and it has bubbles in it. He said they would eventually work their way out, but I didn't believe it, and they're still there. He was going to replace the screen for me if the bubbles were still there, but of course, he was too swamped. There is absolutely no chance I'll go back there. And I'll tell my friends.

He did not tell us it wasn't the correct screen protector. It interfered with the face identification feature on my phone. The Apple genius told me that we had the wrong screen when I asked why the facial recognition wasn't working properly. So we headed back to the Des Peres store who admitted that they had been out of the correct protector for some time. We went to this store (Clayton and Woodsmill Rds) for a replacement screen protector as Des Peres was still out of stock. The only person in the store was assisting a young couple. She was using what I would classify as strong arm tactics trying to get them to sign up for internet services. The husband indicated that he wanted to check what services they had before committing. She said that they had to decide today. So the couple said thank you, we will think about it and got up to leave. The AT& T rep raised her voice and said "You aren't getting the phone either? Why?" Again, politely, the husband indicated that they were "still shopping", and left the store. When we indicated what we needed, she told us we would have to buy the new screen protector. We said that AT & T should replace it, as had been portrayed to us by the Des Peres store rep. She said it was store policy that they couldn't replace a 13 with a 14. I raised my voice at that point, saying that AT & T should right the mistake made by their employee. She sarcastically said Have a nice day. Ultimately, we went to the Creve Coeur store who promptly and politely replaced our screen protectors. I would never use this location again.

I then get a text from AT&T that they are charging me $150 for not returning the old equipment in time and to take it to fedex. I take it to fedex but they have no way of taking it because I don't have a QR code or anything! So I take my old equipment to the AT&T store and drop it off because I don't know what to with it and they want to charge me for not returning the equipment. This AT&T employee says that they are going to throw it away and acts extremely rude. ‍
