Right away he was confident that he could fix my laptop (a new, better processor) rather than throw it out and buy a new one. This appealed to me! Why waste what I have? He didn't try to sell me anything else, and I think my laptop is now faster than ever. In addition he loaded up some office software which I was intimidated about doing. It all cost less than a new laptop and I don't have to worry about transferring over pictures, music, etc. I'm very sure he charged less than an employee of a big box store. I enjoyed experiencing his passion for technology, tinkering & doing things 'right'.
