He took care of ordering the parts, taking care of installation, and showing us how to use the app on our phones to get the most out of the system. He didn't try to upsell us on any additional products. We used VHS a 2nd time to install a smart lock on our home. Again, Doug showed us the various options available and pointed out we should choose a color that matched our existing hardware (I would not have thought of that on my own). He took care of ordering and installed for us. He ran into a few snags removing the existing lock and then getting the new deadbolt to latch. I can only imagine if my partner and I were trying to install, we would have been freaking out. Doug handled everything in stride (he's done this a few times). We thought we could download the app can get it connected to our Smart system ourselves, but again Doug was there to help us out when we got stuck. During our remodel, we had to deal with a contractor who unfortunately did a poor job. The electricians, Shawn and Brian, immediately noticed and recommended someone they know and work closely with to come out the SAME day and give me free advice. After letting our old contractor go, we then hired that contractor that completed the job right in a day!
