I've been reluctant to switch, but thanks to Jim and the Mac HQ team, we now have a MacBook Air and I'm typing this review on my lap sitting on the sofa. I'm using this MacBook all over, getting small things done when I'm ready, in comfort (not that computer desk is that uncomfortable...). We had a few considerations to think through w/r/t a large Photos library and more. Jim was both patient and helpful, working with me to get the configuration on the MacBook that we have. It took me several phone calls to work through, but we did it! It was a special order, and a couple weeks later it arrived. After a call with Braiden, he worked through moving the large libraries onto the MacBook and he even merged them. When I picked it up, I had a few additional questions, and Braiden was patient and helpful working me through it all. Along the way, Bailey, Sean and Gage also provided help, in person and on the phone. All, THANK YOU!! Life is better away from screens, to be sure, and yet, screens help us do fun and interesting, and often necessary things... and this MacBook is a great way for me to get things done. This particular machine was a 4.5 foot tall monster with 7 hard drives (4 in RAID 5 (on a RocketRAID card)), dual cpu's, ECC RAMBUS, and more server parts than you could shake a stick at. Of course, being an old server, this is to be expected. They charged me $49 for a desktop diagnostic, running me through everything they would do. (At the time of this writing, competitors charged $59 or more for the same service.) Based on the amount of computers they had on their repair shelves, plus how busy they seemed, I was not expecting to hear from ITS for a week, at least. They told me it would be 2-3 days, but I got a call late THE NEXT DAY. They had discovered that my computer had a bad motherboard (which I knew), a stick of bad RAM (which I didn't know), and on my RAID drives was bad (which I suspected, but could not confirm). ITS had tried to update my BIOS, and looked for matching RAM, and a new motherboard, but in the end it was cheaper for me to buy a new computer. They were completely honest and upfront about the costs of everything. I got a nice used Compaq with 2 GB RAM, an Athlon 64+ processor, and Win Vista, which I then proceeded to install Win 8 on. For $250, it was a heck of a deal. My only negatives were that their parking lot was full of leaves, and some of their shelves were a little threadbare, but from what I gather, ITS Computers is a computer, and computer parts, selling machine. Their prices are comparable to, or lower than, other brick and mortar stores, but like every store that has overhead, they cannot compete with Amazon. Still, I was happy with the computers, and prices, I saw they had. I am insanely happy with my service, the prices were reasonable, the turnaround time was beyond phenomenal, and the professionalism of the staff was top-notch. I recommend ITS Computers to everyone. In fact, I was so impressed with what I saw, I applied for, and got, a job there.

Got a call the next day from Eytan who said that probably due to a firmware update on the internal Wi-Fi adapter, it was no longer compatible to my wireless router. After a lot of testing by them we decided to re-platform to a larger HAF case for cooling purposes. They also tuned the heat settings since my AMD Ryzen was/is the problem.
