The third time, they found more wrong than their initial estimate, but honored that original estimate, even though they could have charged me at least $150 more. If I could provide six stars I would…read more We have used iMacs for 20+ years. Apple stopped offering the 27" iMac several years, much to my disappointment. I've been reluctant to switch, but thanks to Jim and the Mac HQ team, we now have a MacBook Air and I'm typing this review on my lap sitting on the sofa. I'm using this MacBook all over, getting small things done when I'm ready, in comfort (not that computer desk is that uncomfortable...). We had a few considerations to think through w/r/t a large Photos library and more. Jim was both patient and helpful, working with me to get the configuration on the MacBook that we have. It took me several phone calls to work through, but we did it! It was a special order, and a couple weeks later it arrived. After a call with Braiden, he worked through moving the large libraries onto the MacBook and he even merged them. When I picked it up, I had a few additional questions, and Braiden was patient and helpful working me through it all. Along the way, Bailey, Sean and Gage also provided help, in person and on the phone. All, THANK YOU!! Life is better away from screens, to be sure, and yet, screens help us do fun and interesting, and often necessary things... and this MacBook is a great way for me to get things done. Thank you, Mac HQ... and your New Computer For Life (NCFL) program!!!

I honestly can't believe this location is affiliated with Apple. From the moment I walked in, the…read moreplace felt strange and unprofessional. The store was very dark inside, looked run-down, and just didn't have the atmosphere or appearance I would expect from a business affiliated with Apple. The overall environment felt uncomfortable, and some of the people there came across as unprofessional. I went there because I was having a very specific issue with my AirPods, but the employees I dealt with didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. I kept getting generic answers that didn't actually address the problem. Instead of troubleshooting the issue properly, I felt like I had to explain the same thing over and over again. I eventually went to the actual Apple Store in West County, where I was able to troubleshoot the problem myself with their help. After testing multiple devices, the conclusion from my testing was that AirPods 3 are currently not working properly with the iPhone Air and iPhone 17. I also experienced the same behavior with AirPods 2. The current software version is 26.6.1. Apple might patch the issue in a future update, but there's no guarantee or timeline that I'm aware of. What really frustrates me is that I had to go to a proper Apple Store and essentially figure out the issue myself. The difference between the two locations was night and day. I went in expecting knowledgeable staff who could troubleshoot an Apple-to-Apple compatibility issue, but instead I left feeling like I had wasted my time. I honestly still can't believe the first location is affiliated with Apple. EDIT: The owner gave half-truths and dismissive responses instead of professionally addressing the issue. They claim to have over 30 years of experience, yet the shop doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to troubleshooting Apple products. I was told there are no known reports of this issue anywhere online, but a simple Google search shows multiple people experiencing the same problem this year. Dismissing readily available information instead of investigating it is disappointing. What was even more concerning was being told that my Apple-certified AirPods were fake. They were verified as genuine through Apple's official website and confirmed in person at an actual Apple Store. Despite that, this shop continued insisting they were counterfeit. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business here. If they're making unsupported claims about genuine Apple products and providing misleading information to customers, that's a serious concern. I believe this location deserves closer scrutiny regarding the quality and accuracy of the service it provides. Edit 2: This was a complete waste of time. Anyway, good luck with your business. Honestly, you don't deserve anyone's business, and it's a shame to see the store taking up space when customers are treated this way. Edit 3: :) Edit 4: Threatening my family? Yeah, very mature behavior from this store owner. I strongly recommend not giving this store your business. Apparently, any disagreement can escalate to the point where the owner threatens your family. That's completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Edit 5: Lmao, okay. Definitely not worth my time. You shouldn't waste yours with them either. They're just waiting for someone dumb enough to fall for their scam. Save yourself the headache and walk away. They WILL scam you. Edit 6: 37-point inspection? Lmao, that's cute. Keep throwing around "family-owned business" like it somehow makes the incompetence look better. At this point, the family might want to consider owning literally anything else, because running a business clearly isn't working out.

After describing the problem to Becky, she suggested I bring it in for diagnostics. Update review based on getting a 2nd opinion on a water damaged device…read more Last year after my iPad Pro was water damaged I took it to mobile device doctors and they looked at it and accessed it could not be fixed. A year later I figured it was worth a 2nd opinion from a 5-Star rated company before purchasing a new one. The 5-star company was no only able to repair the screen issue but ID'd that the previous service rep (Mobile Device Doctor in this case) put a service sticker with the wrong type of iPad (2nd gen vs 3rd gen which makes a big difference) and more importantly why I am leaving this review is some internal parts were not put back into the iPad (ie board covers). Whether this was intentional (integrity issue) or unintentional (sloppy work), want to make sure the public is aware. I've give the company an opportunity to rectify the issue by issuing a full refund for the service and deem what they think is fair for leaving out internal parts.
