They found a quick and easy solution, fixed it on the spot and I was up and running in no time. The second time, they worked quickly, made the process painless, and charged exactly what they quoted. My laptop was ready for pick-up in less than 24 hours. The third time, they found more wrong than their initial estimate, but honored that original estimate, even though they could have charged me at least $150 more. Entered this place never having been before, looking for some random laptop screws to once again cobble my wife's severely abused machine back together. A complete scam. Quoted one price charged more and the problem still not fixed. In addition, if you pay with a credit or debit card they fail to inform you they charge a 40% of the total bill as a fee for paying with other than cash. I reported the company to the Better Business Bureau and the company totally ignored the BBB investigation, and as such has been marked as a suspicious business by the BBB. In a word... "Trustworthy!" I was looking for a second opinion from Computer Depot for a problem with my daughter's monitor when it just wouldn't come on. The first computer store I went to wanted close to or more than the price of a whole new computer to fix her monitor. First I might add that it took 3 days to hear back from them, and I had to initiate the call. I was told her monitor would need to be replaced at a cost of $320. After picking up my daughter's computer, I stopped at Computer Depot on my way home. I left my daughter's laptop there and later that day I was told her computer was fixed and I could come and get it any time. I said. "You were supposed to give me a quote first." After the first company's attitude, I was on guard. Thomas the owner said the brushes were dirty and that they had simply cleaned them and that there was no charge for such a simple fix. I never heard of a business not looking for some way to charge you but they didn't and this is exactly how my first experience was with them. At that point, the folks at Computer Depot had earned my trust and I have been a loyal customer ever since. It is a business model I wish more businesses would adopt. Brought our laptop in to see how much to fix cosmetic damage. It was more than we wanted to spend and figured we'd just get a new one/transfer the data. Well, after this guy took it apart and put it back together.... it won't work at all. After complaining to him about it, he claims a software issue (not something he did) and would look at it. I took my laptop into Computer Depot as a last stop before I bought a new one and they were able to fix the main problem (half of the screen went missing and had a pressure spot) and a few other cosmetic issues as well for way less than geek squad would have. Complete silence! I dropped off my laptop to be looked at three or four days ago and when I dropped it off I was given absolutely no time estimate about how long it would take. Finally yesterday I just called them and was told "it's just a matter of time now" by THE most unprofessional sounding worker I've ever heard. I have been using Computer Depot for years to repair and clear my computers of viruses,etc. They are amazingly fast, usually getting my computer back to me the same day I bring it in. They are also knowledgeable and have great customer service. Douglas usually works on my computer and literally cleans the outside of it as well as the inside. This place is great!! I bring my laptop in every 6 months, or whenever things are slowing down. They complete a virus scan, un-install and then re-install programs, update software as needed, re-arrange my desktop for ease, and everything else. (I don't like to do some of these things.) I am very satisfied with the $90 fee/per visit. I can play, print, surf, email, facebook, use excel and word, and do everything that I like, all thanks to computer depot. As to reference, I can limp by with windows 8.1 and a 10 year old laptop, but this will not last forever. Love this place!!!! read more

Was an overall awesome experience! I rushed in before closing time and was greeted with a friendly employee named Doug who looked at my computer and told me what was the problem with it. He gave me an estimate on the time it should take to fix and a quote on the price that it was going to be for repair. It was ready exactly when he said it would be done and he went above and beyond with the repair and fixing my computer up! Overall I am incredibly happy with the service provided and will for sure refer to friends and go back if I ever need another service done on any of my computers! read more

I will be telling everyone not to go here. We took our gaming laptop up and they said it needed a new motherboard. We paid them that day to order the part and to cover the labor. A week goes by and we don't hear from them so I call and check up on it and they say they're still waiting on the part. Another week goes by and I'm told the same thing- still waiting on the part. THREE WEEKS after dropping off the laptop It call very frustrated and ask when I'm getting my laptop back, the man on the phone ask his coworker if he ever ordered the part on eBay (I could have ordered the part on eBay) and I hear the coworker say "I don't know"!!! I ended up going up there and demanding a refund and just took back my broken laptop. read more

I took a new laptop to Computer Depot and my current failing laptop for them to transfer the data. I preloaded Microsoft Office and Turbo Tax on the new computer so they would move the data over to the new computer. I was not able to open turbo tax on the new laptop. That was a total fail. I was not able to open my contacts on Microsoft Outlook or my calendar. That was a total fail. They did transfer documents and pictures. They charged $102 and said no one is able to transfer Microsoft Office data. I called Microsoft Office tech support and they got me going from over the phone for $69. That $69 covers my unlimited usage for 1 year. read more
