What started out fine ended horribly. I called and asked if they price match Amazon they said yes. I take my 6 year old to get his first ipad and heres what I get. The guy in electronics Extremely rude. I asked for the silver 10th gen Ipad that says in stock online. The guy sighs and goes to the back, after 5-10 minutes He comes back with a blue 10th gen. I ask, "is that silver" he said no blue. You did say silver Ill be right back. He comes back with a silver 9th gen and says we have this in stock (for more expensive then the 10th gen price matched by the way) I said no I do not want the older model, If you dont have the 10th gen silver i guess we will take the blue. He looks at me pissed and says you want me to go in the back a 3rd time? I said well yea This is not the one I asked for. my wife then comes up and said whats the difference of the I pads he said its a 9th gen and he wants me to go back in the store room to get the other on. He goes in back and gets the blue one and tells me the price then nothing else. I wanted to speak with the manager right away but I had my kid with me. Bottom Line, this was your employees incompetence that lead to these events. My thought at the time is that this employee is unstable and that the safety of me and my son are in jeopardy. My first visit at this Target location was this past Saturday while I was out running errands. The set-up is different than most locations. The store is clean, neat and organized. I like this location because they had a good variety of items and the shelves were stocked fairly well. I was able to obtain all my items except bottled water. This location, like many others is experiencing a shortage of water and various food items amongst things. even with that being said, again I state, this location is well stocked. The parking is ample and the the store wasn't crowded even though the parking lot was. The checkout's weren't over crowded and backed-up, matter of fact there were hardly any lines and when a line did form, they were short and moved swiftly. read more

I love target but this target ..not sure what is happening. They do not restock their items fast enough. They are always out of everything. It's even starting to look a little unorganized. Skip this target and head to Town and Country. It might be a little farther but worth it. read more

I went there to shop. The cashier was sneezing and coughing in her hands as she completed my sales. I cleaned my hands as I left the store. I couldn't put the things in the truck, so I put them on my back seat after I sprayed the bag. The next day I took ALLLLLL of the bags back and everything I bought. I left everything in my car. I can't afford to be sick with anything! Of course I sprayed my back seat and car with Lysol. I'll use more stuff tomorrow. If you're ill, stay home!!!!!!! Stop germ/virus-sharing!! We^re here for you? Hardly. I was in the BALLWIN store yesterday and a customer was there without a mask. When I asked a young employee if they remind customers in St Louis county it is required to wear a mask, she told me they're not allowed to say anything. That directive, she added, has to come from the corporate office. When I called the store this morning, no one answers in customer service. Target is completely reckless with regard to concern for public health. Shop Walmart. At least there you can't enter without a mask. read more

This is a great store. Lots of offerings, including groceries. I am partial to the Market Pantry (Target's brand) sugar-free drink mix (think Crystal Light), strawberry-orange-banana flavor. There have been times I could not find it. So, when I find it, I get all they have. Today, there were 11 cartons/packages, each one making 12 quarts of this luscious drink. They were on sale at $1.97, a very special price. I bought them all. I looked at wine, 'cause I needed a hostess gift. But I know so little about wine, the offerings weren't sending me anyplace. So I skipped that. I got an economical greeting card. And I needed pot holders and dish rags. Pot holders were $3.99. I think that's incredibly expensive, especially since I didn't like any of them. I was looking for FLAT pot holders that you can scrunch appropriately in your hand. For $3.99, nothing was working for me. Dish rags (I know there's a better name for these things.) were packaged in 4s or 5s -- I didn't count. But THEY were $3.99. I was not in the mood to pay that for dish rags. THEN I needed one of those bags you use in the washer for things that are called delicate. I've never had one of these bags, and had NO idea where to find it. I checked a number of departments and finally found it in the aisle with ironing boards. WHO KNEW!? But it was nicely priced at $1.49. So, off I go to check out and being as it is a weekday in the middle of the day, I got a checkout station with a very small line. Using my trusty Target red card, which is a VISA card, I got a 5% discount on my purchases and Target contributes to my children's middle school. ANY purchase using this VISA card prompts a Target contribution to the school of your choice. I commend Target for participating in the community this way. The contributions have been massive and well-needed over the years. read more

This target is just a stone's throw away from where I live which makes it great now that they have groceries. At first everyone I would talk to complained about how everything was out of place and this and that. Now that the grocery section is complete it I don't notice any disarray or confusion. Their prices are really reasonable on all their products and have great deals and coupons for common items (i.e. bread, cheese, groceries). I can always find an employee if I need any kind of help with finding an item. The only thing I don't like about Target is this one has two rows of check outs that are offset from eachother. So if someone wants to get to a front register and I am already checking out at the back one and we both have carts then they have to bang and squeeze their cart in between my cart and the very tempting last minute candy shelves. read more

Not sure what has happened as of late with this location. It always seems to be out of various stock which prompts me to drive to the T&C location. The T&C location seems to handle additional items not found at the Ballwin location. Additionally they always have more lanes open for checkout than Ballwin. Summary I've sworn off Ballwin. read more

A very nice Target. I go to this one and another most of the time when I want to shop at Target and both are good. This one lacks a Starbucks which is a tad sad, but the cafe is good-sized to make up for that. The employees are generally helpful with only some who seem to have an attitude. The store has a good selection of items and usually hasn't been out of something I want. Overall a great Target and one I recommend visiting. read more

Very clean Target in suburb West St. Louis county...good location for those that live in Ballwin, Winchester, Ellisville and parts of Chesterfield. The staff is a mixed bag. Some are friendly, sweet people...other couldn't care less or are as unfriendly as they can be. I've seen the stock-staff act out and loud. Most recently the clerk who waited on us couldn't have been more unfriendly, not just with me and my family but with the customer behind us. If you want better service at a Target, I'd hit the Chesterfield Valley location first. read more
