Marshalls, a staple for quick quality fashions throughout the years. I visited the Olive location which is a very popular shopping strip. There is a large parking lot available. The store has tons of good finds but some good digging can be needed dependent on what you're looking for. I was pleased to see the items pictured as it shows the wide range of products available. Close parking lot, clean establishment and very well lit. The minute I walked through the door there were racks and racks of clothes and decor to go through. Carts are available the moment you enter and in store help available if needed. The store had wide aisles, plenty of options and discounted merchandise. We did not end up making a purchase today. We just encounter a lady name Amber at your St. Louis, MO store on Olive. We are displeased with her service and attitude. We were trying to purchase a dog food bin that didn't have a price on it. The one young lady tried to help and stated there weren't anymore around to go off of to get a price and suggested we go up front to see of they could get a price. The lady Amber comes up and says we'll We have one back there (which we or the other associate didn't see) and it holds 25 lbs and is $29.99 and this one holds 40 lbs so this would be around $45-$50. We are trying to figure out EXACTLY how did she come up with that price? I showed her one online on Amazon for $32.00 and she told us we'll you should just order that one then. We have been coming to Marshall's and Tj Maxx for a very LONNNG time and this is the most unprofessional experience that we have ever had. Maybe we will order from Amazon and just stop shopping here all together, her nonchalant attitude was really annoying and unnecessary. If you have no price tag and no price tag to go off of exactly HOW do you just grab a price out of the air. April was very nice and apologetic, Amber was a true a**hole. read more

This is a highly shopped store. The ratio of employees to shoppers does not seem to equate. That being said, there are reasons to stop in at this Marshall's. If you can find your size...the prices on SHOES are some of the best around. Name Brand Men's Athletic Wear is abundant. Adorable Pet Items and Pet Gifts can be found year round. Purses seem to be stocked regularly. You can purchase Gift Cards for Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Home Goods at this store. read more

I go to this location all the time. At least once a month. Their have a great selection of items for home furnishings, decorations, and clothes. It is located in a great area, with plants of other stores around. Very helpful staff. They just finished doing some renovations in the store, with new fitting rooms. read more

You certainly don't come to Marshalls for the customer service. You come here for the cheap prices! They have a nice selection of children's books and clothes. They even have kitchen ware and unique cooking ingredients. I just picked up a 12" cast-iron skillet for $10. That's hard to come by. There's much more to Marshalls than kids stuff and kitchen ware. They have good deals on men's and women's clothes and shoes. You just have to be willing to look through everything to find a gem. read more

Needed some last-minute things for Miss C.'s friend during a weekend visit. Marshall's isn't usually the first place you think of for last-minute and NEED TO DELIVER, because the offerings change daily if not more often. However, we were in the area, so gave it a try. Saturday, the offerings came through. Swimsuit and four tops. All ridiculously priced way lower than their labels. I've been here a few other times and left empty-handed. I was in a few weeks ago and left without making a purchase.....then I went last weekend. I found so much this time! This seems to be very typically for Marshalls as they are constantly receiving different items so I totally understand. I think that's half the fun of shopping here. I tried on a ton of clothes and ended up with a pair of Lucky Brand skinny jeans ($30), a Ralph Lauren polo ($25), and a grey summer maxi-dress ($16) for myself! I also bought an adorable baby pajama onesie ($7) for a friend who is expecting. There was more I wanted, but I reigned it in. I will definitely be back on the hunt here in the future! read more

The prices here are cheap for the most part and then select items can actually be surprising. There was a simple tank top I tried on that wasn't name brand but was asking 12.99. That's an okay price at a brand name store but not at Marshall's. I hate to put it this way, but the store is rather dingy. Some of the clothes have stains on them and are thrown around everywhere. The cashier was very nice and personable, which I must admit I was surprised by given the fact that the workers around the store were not as friendly. All in all, the clothes are generally cheap, just be sure to check for wear and tear. read more

I am writing to let you know about our experience at a Marshall's store in St. Louis. First of all, we love Marshall's stores as well as Homegoods and TJ. Maxx and shop there all the time, we are very satisfied with the service until we went to this particular store. Store #132 in the Heritage Plaza 12555 Olive Blvd. Creve Couer, Missouri 63141. We purchased a couple items and found something that would be a better fit for us, so we went back to the counter to return one item and purchase the lower priced item. We talked to a different person from our prior purchase. She was not polite and didn't say please and thank you when she asked for us to scan our card for the return, she just said "Scan your card" I didn't hear her and also wasn't quite sure what she wanted, when I asked her to repeat what she said she said "Scan your card" my boyfriend said, "what's the magic word?" and she refused to say please or thank you and also went as far as to let us know that she didn't have to say that to us. He asked her for her manager and when Emily came over to us, My Boyfriend started to explain what his complaint was, Shontiana (the rude cashier) started laughing and making comments under her breath, then Shontiana started arguing with My Boyfriend, saying she wasn't a toddler and didn't like us speaking to her like she was one and that she didn't have to say please and thank you to customers. Erin finally told Shontiana to step away and we requested a Manager, Mary came up to the front and she started making excuses for Shontiana and that they were busy so that's probably why she acted like that. My boyfriend asked Mary to have Shontiana to come over and apologize and she refused our request. My Boyfriend also called the Store Manager Stan today and he also didn't seem to act like he was very interested in helping us. If you want to be treated like a number and not a human being spending your hard earned money you should definitely go there!! I didn't even want to give 1 star!! read more

I like coming to this place and digging for buried treasure. You can score some great buys but you do have to sort through some pretty awful clothes to find them! That's sorta part of the fun though :) Plus, there's a TJMaxx next door so you double your odds of finding something great! read more

This is one of the better Marshalls locations I've visited. I found quite a nice hoard of career-wear here today and I was pleasantly surprised with some of the clearance items. I got a few nice flyaway sweaters for under $5 (I know!), and they aren't some cheap brand either. As other reviewers mentioned, you have to be prepared to dig if you visit Marshalls. But, hey, I bet you already knew that. Given that, I think you have to dig an awful lot less at this particular store to find a bargain than you do at other locations. read more

If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. I really do like shopping at marshalls. I find a lot of great deals, but the employees there are absolutely horrible and unprofessional. I've complained multiple times about the women that work at the check out. Honestly I think it's retaliation because I complained on there friend for her rudeness. But I've never been rude or cussed anyone of them out. But they seriously have an issue with me, one time I put a cart full of items on hold because I had to make a quick run I watch the sales associate put the hold tag on my items and when I came back everything was gone including a toy I was going to buy my niece for Christmas, no one knows what happened to my cart but they knew it was my cart. I had to go find all my items again of course kim the manager on duty doubted anyone would put my items back on purpose maybe the hold tag fell off..yeah right. Another time the coordinator I cannot remember her name gave me a dirty look when I walked through the door and when I stood in line to return something. She tells her coworker who was in front of me to come to her register she is not waiting on me..I'm like wow! I didn't want to cause a scene so I just told her she doesn't have to wait on me and left..there's so many more incidents I'm just tired of typing..I'm starting to feel like i'm being harassed read more

Always a great way to spend 'lunch'! I'm not sure when they made upgrades to this location but they look great! Only downside to their upgrades, the shoe department is smaller! HUGE new maternity section, I don't need that...hence my shoe disappointment! The housewares department is great too but it seems to me the prices used to be a little lower. It's not furniture store prices, but there are still reasons an item is at Marshall's! All in all, I love this location and I think today was the first time I was satisfied with just Marshall's and didn't have to go next door to TJ Maxx too! read more

I entered this store looking for a few items for my three year old son, but I did not find much. I found the selection at the neighboring TJ Maxx to be much better in general. I had a terrible experience in their bathroom today. I went in carrying a small bag of items that I bought from the TJ Maxx next door. A woman who eventually stated that she was an employer started verbally accosting me stating that I cannot take bags into the bathroom. I stated that this was not from this store, and she grabbed the bag out of my hand. She stated that I could get he bag at register six afterwards. I went to the bathroom, and when I exited there was no register six. So I was left there thinking someone had stolen my items. There was a very long line for the registers so I had to get the attention of a cashier taking care of someone else. I had to explain the strange situation, and they did have the bag luckily.
