Very pricey and not much to choose from. Small store and is not organized by size. It is organized by color which was frustrating and took to much time to find anything in your size. I don't see my self ever returning. The store was definitely over rated and priced. Might as well buy new. read more

I thought and thought about this purchase. It was a bag. Went to pay at the store, to find out it had been purchased on line and they didnt update their records, I was DEVESTATED, It was to be a gift for my daughter with CANCER, Response was I didnt check the inventory this am. Sorry. This shop has some really nice things but beware the owner is snooty. Makes you feel you are beneith her. She has no customer service experience. There is no customer loyality, I have spent thousands in this place, I am an astute buyer. You are so disrespectful read more

I just got my first Louis Vuitton purse and I couldn't be more satisfied with the customer service and the quality /condition of the bag. Super easy and professional. Will DEFINITELY do business with Byrd again! read more

Byrd Designer Consignment Boutique - Women's Clothing Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Extremely nice shop. Relatively small but had a lot of consistently nice inventory. Great high end brands and good prices for the value. I had never been here before, but from now on will stop every time I come to St Louis. I ended up buying 2 skirts and find myself wishing I had tried more pieces on! Wonderful shop. read more

Byrd is my favorite place to shop. I frequently find beautiful preloved and new-with-tags dresses, tops, jackets, shoes and accessories at very reasonable prices. Chanel, Gucci, Prada, YSL, Burberry and other top designers are represented there. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. read more

I Absolutely would not recommend wasting your time to go into the shop. I am definitely not a size 2 or four, but I could definitely wear clothes in the store. However, when I walked in The coerk was not friendly and acted like she was completely busy, which she was not. I asked her about her sizing and she directed me to a rack over size 6. When you walk in, the racks are sized 0 to 4 and then a back rack is 6+. There's really nothing in the store over a size 10. The clothes were coordinated by color and I'll mix in and the quality was not great. There were pills on many items and the prices are pretty ridiculous for the quality. I hope the owner has a new plan because she's not going to be in business long. It says if she is back in the 70's, "playing store". read more

I purchased an open sweater jacket. When I got home I discovered a hole on the arm. The store does not accept returns. I paid too much to receive merchandise with holes. Very disappointed. read more

My daughter and I walked into this store while we were shopping in Clayton. The staff was very rude. They didn't greet us. They just stared at us. It was quite off putting. I did see a bag that I liked, however my daughter motioned me out. Neither of us were at all comfortable in the store; and the staff working seemed to make sure that we in fact felt that way so we would leave. We frequent several stores in that plaza, though this was our first time in Byrd. I haven't had this issue in any of the other stores in that area. We won't be returning. read more

What a great store! The clothes are in excellent shape and there is a huge selection!

Lovely store, extremely well curated. Store is small. Lots of single digit sizes. As a size 10, I didn't have much selection of clothing, although they had a few things as well as great shoes, bags, and jewelry. If I were local, this boutique would be on my circuit. read more

If I could give a negative 5 stars to match my negative experience - I would. The owner is so rude! It was absolutely disgusting the way I was treated when I walked into this store. I couldn't believe it. I walked in and was not greeted. She completely ignored me...even when I greeted her. I will never return and I will be sure to let everyone I know what to expect from the owner. There is no excuse for poor service and definitely no reason to treat customers this way. There are too many option to purchase pre-loved items from retailers that have excellent customer service, much better selection and much better quality. I was so excited to visit your store and was actually looking forward to it. My excitement was met with disappointment and disgust. My time would have been better spent doing anything else. The selection was disappointing and the owner's behavior left me disgusted. read more

I heard so many great things about this place. And believe me, it was every bit as great as I was told. Just live the great customer service and very friendly people. I truly enjoyed the experience of it all. Miss BODI 2006 read more

Dear Women of Color, Be cautious when you enter this boutique because you just may be invisible. I said hello when I walked through the door with my daughter in tow. I was asked if I needed anything? No just looking. The clerk then continues her conversation with her white customer laughing and giggling and clearly enjoying her presence in the shop. I later moved closer in an attempt to get the clerks attention but her vested interest in her white peer was apparently much more worthy of her time. I literally stood there and counted to ten, silently in my head. I begin to exit and she encourages it by saying have a good day. I am clearly invisible. The irony is her attention was centered around someone who is selling their clothes. Not my black face who was interested in your bags...oh well I think I would've have made a good client. I guess I'm too brown. I had to teach my little one how to be a good shopper in the vested interest of equality. read more

Cute little boutique in Clayton! Unfortunately the prices are very much Clayton-esque, though but the brands they carry are all high-end designer so maybe their prices are actually cheap considering what you're buying. I just can't exactly afford to shell out $200 for a blazer I only "sorta" like but maybe if I found something I just couldn't live without, I'd save up for it. In fairness I have bought really expensive stuff in the past but it's usually something crazy unique that I will wear over and over again like my UNIF hellbounds. I do like that they offered to sell a blazer for me that I have that I never wear and it's basically NWTs... so if you have something new or gently used like designer shoes, purses, or clothing, they might sell it for you and you get a percentage of it. Also...this goes without saying but...OMG pot belly pig is SO CUTE. Her name is Chloe and she's the official store mascot. A trip to this store is worth it just to see the cute piggy. They also stock Hem Gems here which are amazing devices for pants and sleeves that you wish were shorter but don't want to sew them. Plus they are reusable so pretty economical. I wish they had some cheaper brands like bbDakota or Ryu. And FYI those brands are not really "cheap" either if you are used to shopping at Target or something, but still definitely unique without dropping three figures on one dress or jacket. ;) I just think that more girls who don't have sugar daddies (LOL!) would be willing to shop here if there was stuff in the $50 price ballpark but then again they might have a sale rack that I just totally missed. Derp! Also the ladies who work here are super adorable and nice! read more

Didnt have a lot of time so I made the most of it! Shoes!!! Great prices on bags I can't wait to go back! :) read more

I ADORE this boutique. From the beautiful handbags, jewelry, clothing and accessories; every piece is special. The shop is lovely and the service is wonderful. I purchased an item during quarantine from the Instagram account. I was able to pay for it via Paypal and the item was delivered to my doorstep that very day. I have since been into the shop and every safety measure has been taken to protect the clientele and employees. Run, don't walk to Byrd! read more

NO STARS but I wanted to leave a comment. If you're looking for a warm welcoming, friendly place this business isn't it. I arrived maybe 5 minutes before they opened so I waited. While I was waiting I checked out some of the other stores. 15 minutes later they was still closed so I stood at the door. A lady came to unlocked the door, then she walked away. She didn't open it, say hi, sorry or welcome to the store. She just walked to the cash register. I saw a luxury bag that I wanted to buy but I didn't. So I took a look around than walked back out the door . read more

Byrd is by far my favorite consignment / resale store in St. Louis and I have been to almost all of them. There is always a large assortment of authentic designer (Gucci, D&G, Chanel, Tory Burch) clothing, handbags and accessories priced VERY reasonably. I am always able to find something to buy, despite my limited budget. Recently, I was in the store and had my eye on a vintage quilted Chanel bag. The bag was GORGEOUS and lightly worn as well as had the authenticity card. After doing my quick research on my phone I saw that it was priced below the cost of other similar bags online. I still had trouble biting the bullet and purchasing it, but found on that the owner does layaway! I love that! I wish more stores had this program. I was able to make smaller payments on the layaway program and get my beautiful bag! read more

Byrd is one of my favorite STL finds! Being a West Coast transplant, I found shopping for designer clothing difficult until a friend recommended that I visit Byrd. The selection is wonderful, unique and definitely some of the best I have found in St. Louis. You can tell the owner has a discerning eye for style and only accepts items in the best of conditions. It's a great place to go for everything from a cute pair of high end summer sandals to a gown for a black-tie event. And the best part is that they carry designers that you can't usually find in St. Louis! Definitely one of my favorites. read more

My mom and I have been shopping at Byrd the last couple of years and the owner Emily always makes it such a positive experience. They have the best second hand designer clothes, shoes, and bags in town that she meticulously selects for their quality and style. The prices are higher than other consignments but you are looking at less flaws and high fashion labels such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. She does have sales throughout the year which she announces through her email list. They recently went through a remodel of their store which I saw this week and it looks really beautiful. They upgraded their displays which really show how beautiful the shoes are. My mom lives out of state and comes here to shop and sell clothes when she's in town. No matter how long it's been she always knows us when we come in and greets us by name. She always asks what is going on with our family and keeps the experience really personal. We will continue to shop at Byrd for years to come! read more

What beautiful clothes at reasonable prices. Emily has done a great job of having a wide selection of special clothes I want in my closet! You will be a new favorite place to shop! read more

This place is ah-mazing. I have always wanted to buy a pair of Christian Louboutin heels but could not bring myself to part with that much coin in one transaction. I searched other consignment stores and on-line to see if maybe, just maybe, I would get lucky and find a size 5 1/2 that were gently used. Lo and behold, I scored at Byrd. The entire transaction took place over email and phone. The owner was great about describing the shoes and condition and she sent a number of pictures to make sure I understood the design and style of the shoes. And the best part? The price. Straight up steal, I would have never been able to buy couture shoes in the Bay Area for that price. I love them and I have asked her to let me know when she gets other items in my size. This is THE place for designer shoes and handbags as well as designer clothes. read more

This place is my favorite place to shop whenever I'm in town visiting my in laws. The store has a nice selection of high-end labels and also local brands. I've never left without purchasing something from here because of how reasonably priced everything is. Overall, great merchandise and the staff is friendly/personable. read more

Great selection of upscale and hard to find designers and brands at very fair prices. Owner was super helpful and assisted me in finding a selection of clothing in my size. There was no pressure to buy and I came out with 2 great dresses (Vince and Nanette Lepore), 2 cute skirts and a cuff bracelet by a local jewelry designer. Great selection of shoes and accessories too. read more

What a beautiful shop. I found them on Instagram and finally got there today to check it out. Beautiful, second hand, gently used designer clothes. I admire fashion so this was really fun for me. To see affordable Chanel and Jimmy Choos made me happy inside. It was late Sunday, quiet, and I was honestly unshowered in a beanie, army jacket, joggers, & uggs...I knew if I showered I wouldn't make it there before they closed. But the guy working there made me feel welcome so I was comfortable, on my own, going through the racks of clothes. Shoes. Jewelry. The jewelry also features artist made jewelry, local I believe. So pretty. I'll make this a destination shopping trip for sure now. They get new consignment things all the time. I'm a thrift shop/yard sale pro who admires/loves designers, if you are too you will enjoy this place. And hopefully you find something to take home. :) read more

Stopped by while breezing through St. Louis and very happy that I took the time. Owner of the shop was friendly and helpful. Was in search of a new wallet but ended up seduced by a well-priced, floor-length Rebecca Taylor. Another patron in the shop convinced me as I came out of the dressing room to "I don't even know you, but I know that dress is you." Smiles all around. read more

Stopped in for the first time today and scored a great designer blouse and pair of killer heels within 20 minutes. Might be one of the easiest shopping experiences ever. They also have great accessories and jewelry. If I had more time, I could have spent hours in there. This store is definitely on my short list of go-to places in the STL for unique fashion pieces. read more

Has a great selection of unique women's clothing. Best couture shop in St. Louis!

I'm going to give this the coveted 5 star review! Emily is the owner and she is very helpful and knows her stuff. The jewelry is exquisite! The designers are all HUGE designers. The store is moderately priced and well organized. She also does consignment and I've had a lot of luck consigning here. My advice, go here before you go anywhere else for beautiful, well cared for, designer pieces. And she can help you polish off your look with just the right accessories. A+ read more

Stopped in here a couple of weeks ago with my wife. Wow. What an incredibly unwelcoming and unprofessional "boutique." Don't expect to get any sort of service. Place is a total joke and snobby like you wouldn't believe. Newsflash, we're in St. Louis, not New York city. Come down a peg or 2. read more

Being a bit of a seasoned consignment shopper, who is known to travel around the country visiting consignment places, I realize how hard it is to find 'good' stores these days. Lucky for me, the local store, Byrd, is certainly one of them! The selection is gorgeous, unique and very well priced. I think the shoe selection, in particular, is one of the best I have ever found. On top of everything, the service is hands-down the best in St. Louis. There is no pressure, no snobbery...just a helpful owner and staff who are always accommodating. This store is a MUST! read more

Byrd is my new favorite find. High end designer consignment means I get unique, high end items for a fraction of the original cost. For example, I bought a Diane von Furstenberg LBD new with tags for a third the original price. They have a great selection of coveted designer label clothes, shoes and handbags. read more

Being able to walk in a store and not be overwhelmed by inventory that has no business being there is so great! It is obvious that the owner is very selective and thoughtful of her clientele needs. Thank you, I am definitely coming back. read more
