Came here to get gas for the rental car before taking it back to the airport. Gas was an amazing price ($3.12!!!!!) the parking lot was easy to get in and out of, everything looked really new and clean. I was able to gas the rental, get some trash thrown away and make it to the rental car return on time. Would have loved to go in and see what they had as far as merchandise but there was not enough time and even if there were I had no room. If I make it back to the area would love to check it out. read more

Service was meh. Sample attendants weren't very engaging and didn't really communicate info about the products. Cashier threw one thing into our cart after running up or did and had us place the rest of the items on the belt ourselves. Cafe items were lukewarm. Being retired for three years, I've gained a few pounds. I guess it's like those pounds a freshman in college gains their first year. I've just ignored mine for three years, but now it's time to take action. I've started following a guy on Instagram who coaches people on eating better and losing belly fat. He did a reel on what to buy at Costco and I made a shopping list of everything he recommended. Lucky for me, I liked everything he said to eat. I filled my cart up with all sorts of healthy foods. I got egg whites, organic spinach, greek yogurt, frozen organic blueberries, rotisserie chicken, frozen broccoli, protein bars, cottage cheese, bananas and wild caught salmon. I even grabbed a box of hard boiled eggs. I love'm, but hate making them. The best thing of all, I got out for just under $150. I haven't gotten out of Costco for under $200 in a longtime. I saw on YouTube the Costco head butchers in the meat department and they will slice the meat for you like they do at my local neighborhood, Schnucks in University City. I was greeted at the Costco and informed that he had been working there 20 years and has never heard of a Costco butcher slicing already packaged meat. This was later confirmed when I went to the meat department and was told by two people packing the five dollar cooked chickens. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to Costco, I will never turn down a chance to shop there, I am there weekly to purchase food, and household essentials, I love the fact that they have samples of food daily that way I can try some of the food items before I buy them. The prices I would consider very fair, I like being able to buy everything in bulk. I also get gas at a discounted member rate, I get my prescriptions, and I recently purchase eye glasses for a reasonable price. You can get some car maintenance as well as travel services as well, there's just about everything in Coscto that you can imagine. Oh and let's not forget the food concession stand area to buy ready to eat food such as pizza, hotdogs and ice cream just to name a few of the items being sold. My husband and I got my car serviced for new tires last month and the process was so smooth! The Costco mechanics were very friendly, easy to work with, and helpful! The tires were a great value and they even honored a price drop on our tires because we had purchased them just a few days before a promotion - so we saved an extra $90! The warranty for the tires is excellent and having a membership means you don't have to cover an installation fee, it doesn't get any better than that! This is not my traditional Costco location, but I have visited a few times when I am in the area and I have to say I really like it. The lay out is about the same as others and they have everything you may need. This location really does a great job with the international cuisine options compared to other locations in the STL area which is why I visit form time to time. I like to see what prepared foods they have available and often find something new to try for dinner or lunch. Costco is my favorite place for fruits and veggies so you can't go wrong when you head into their produce station and load up on all the goodies. You know you are going to get a good quality product that is not going to go rotten in a few days. The selection of vitamins and supplements in the store can be overwhelming, but I always find what I am looking for and of course, I find new ones to try. Looking for protein bars? They have tons. Whey protein? Yup, lots of options and a Kirkland brand too! I can't help but pick out a floral arrangement whenever I visit just because a girl has to have her flowers when shopping in bulk! read more

Today we were checking out with Sarah M. She was talking poorly about the ladies in front of us and making fun of their purchases. Then as we stepped up, Sarah was upset that we had flipped everything in the cart so she could just scan it all easily and demanded we put all small items on the belt. We did without saying anything. As she is checking us out, she made comments saying she wasn't treated like a human (no one had even said anything to her in 15 minutes we were in line - even though she had messed up multiple orders). She scanned an additional milk, when we kindly pointed it out, she was snotty. As we were walking away, she made note comments saying stuff like "everyone sucks today". When we brought this up to the front desk, the front desk attendant went and laughed with Sarah, but at least she left the register. Also turns out Sarah had missed a big, $30 item from our cart (it was only 12 items - hard to miss), so we had to go back and have our cart reviewed again and a separate transaction. read more

I was just here for fuel, enjoying watching the people lining up on the wrong side even though Costco has extra long hoses that will stretch over to the other side for all regular sized vehicles. Working in event planning, I always love knowing Costco is there for event needs! From drinks, bottled water, snacks, plates, napkins... they've got me covered. I recently made a spritz bar and grazing table for an event and Costco came in clutch! I wanted St. Germain and Aperol, and Costco had liters of Aperol at a super affordable price. They didn't have St. Germian, which is understandable as they have a lot of your base alcohols. Elderflower liqueur doesn't 100% for the vibe but was thankful for the aperol. I also grabbed a 12 case of Prosecco (how easy) which is under $8 a bottle. It was perfect. Grazing table was made super easy with cheese and meat trays, mass amounts of snacks, and crackers. Self checkout process could use some labeling for lines when you're far away from the staff, two lines formed and apparently there's only 1. Other than that, another fabulous trip to Costco! read more

I love me a good Costco moment. I always find something that I don't need but end up buying. They always have good sales,delicious samples, and friendly staff. The pharmacy staff are always friendly and they always have medications, especially specialty meds. They are often cheaper than the drug store. Be prepared for long lines, and a crowded parking lot. I tends to go here very regularly. They have quite a lot of seasonal items and I always find something to buy here. This place does get pretty busy in the weekends so I tends to try and go on the weekdays if possible. We buy a lot of food in bulk here. The seasonal items are great. Popped in on a Tuesday after a late working day to grab a box of Starbucks Egg Bites, Airfryer for 8 min on 400 and your golden, for the Breakfast meal prep and decided to hit the prepared food stand on the way out. It doesn't take long to get your order if you aren't getting a whole pizza and it's not a crowded day. Costco Tire should be a good experience. The service is hit or miss. The tire department over inflated my spare causing major damage and replacement. At the end of my service, I was told to walk around the parking lot and beep the alarm to look for my car. I don't know if the value is worth the poor service. read more

Today (11/8/23) was my first time inside the U City Costco even though I have been here numerous times to use the gas pumps. It's large, clean, and organized just like all of the other locations. The only employee interaction I had was at the self-checkout where I was interrogated to make sure the membership card in my hand was my own. I frequent 2 of the other locations and I've never had this happen before. I don't mind showing the card but at least ask nicely, right? 2 things Sam's Club has that you don't and they're extremely convenient. 1. Scan & Go in the app. It's brilliant. It eliminates me waiting in any lines or dealing with any people except the person at the exit door. 2. At the self-checkout they have the hand scanner gun to scan heavy items. At Costco I have to lift the heavy water out of the cart and put it on the thing next to the scanner after the scan or else it will not let me proceed. This extra work after I've been given a hard time about my membership card that is actually mine doesn't put me in a good mood when I'm leaving. I'll probably stick with Manchester and St. Peters and reserve this one for cheap gas when I'm in the neighborhood! read more

Costco had lately been one of my guilty pleasures. I love that I drive past Costco daily on my way home from work. I started with the gold membership because I wasn't sure how much I would go based on my small household of just myself and my husband. I found that going to Costco saved me money over going to the grocery so I recently updated to the executive membership. The executive membership is $120 per year (which is twice the amount of the gold) but you get 2% reward back so if you spend $500 a month it's worth it! I usually do one big shopping hull a month where I buy all my meats and then freeze them in two people portions. For example, I'll buy hamburger meat and divide it into 4 portions that I individual freeze for another week or the precut salmon which usually comes with 6 slices and that will allow for three meals for two people. I also usually go once a week or once every other week to get produce. Some of my favorite buys in addition to meats are the healthy noodles. They are zero calories and are great tossed with your favorite stir fry sauce. I also love buying fruit at Costco. I have found the price is better and they last longer. My husband is a fan of the southwest wraps. He brings them to work for lunch daily. There are a lot of great, quick premade meals that we also like including the gyro kits, the stuffed peppers and the salad mixes. Gas prices at Costco are also the best! There is a reason why people drive out of the way to get gas at Costco. Something that was helpful to me was that you can download the Costco app so you don't have to carry around your card. Costco also has Apple Pay. Both these things came in handy on a day I was desperately low on gas and realized I forgot my entire wallet at home. If it wasn't for the app and Apple Pay I probably wouldn't have made it to another gas station. read more

I know that at times items at Costco are short lived, but If you get this review quickly ( writing it on Aug 12, 2024) they are carrying, Moonlight Yellow free stone Peaches that are delicious. I like most Southern Kids always thought you had to make sure the peach box said grown In Georgia. I was skeptical of purchasing peaches grown in California,but Do Yourself a favor and get to Costco before these are gone. They have that flavor all of us Southern children search for. and if you didn't grow up in the south you are in for a flavor that just might change your life. read more

Wow. Big bright and clean. Lots of parking got a front space. Everyone seems friendly and glad to be here. I heard there was some controversy getting the store located here, some businesses and residential housing were moved for this to go up. But at the end of the day most people come out and shop, and jobs, jobs, jobs. This is the mantra nowadays. The store itself reminds me of the one in Chicago, the latest one at the SouthLoop. Super nice wide isles, everything else is pretty much the standard Costco fare, their buyers must be buying things regionally and we're still in the mid west market. Glad this one's here, it's about 5 miles closer to my condo than the one out on Rusty Road which is 10 miles away from me. read more

Busy Sunday here today. Decided to stop by to grab one of the famous $5 rotisserie chicken. You just can't beat the price. We can normally get three meals out of it. Did a quick walk thru of the entire store to see what they had new. Lot's of employees around if you needed help. They had about eight sample stations set up too which was good because I was a little hungry. Not too smart to be hungry coming in here. We often will stop by the cafe first for a $1.50 hot dog.soda combo. It will sometimes fill us up so we don't do as much impulse buys. This is a great location. The store is clean and still feels new. Also did a quick fill up on gas while I was here. Their lines move really quick as they can accommodate three cars in each lane. read more

It's a nice store and wasn't very crowded but I did not love the layout! It also did not seem to be as big or have as many options as some of the other Costco stores. My preferred store continues to be the south county Costco, even though this one is significantly closer to me. I always get gas at costco and this location is hit or miss depending on the day/time as most are. Can't beat the food court prices and we always find great deals here. The seafood, especially the salmon, is always super fresh and the bakery section is dangerous...Also love the salad mixes and alcohol section!! $13 for a handle of good vodka cannot be beat. read more

This location has been slowly growing on me. I hate how Costco has set-up the gas pumps at each of the locations. I'm not a fan of the 3 car pumps. The good thing is that it's spacious to fit in-between various cars. Also, Costco gas is rated top quality and comparable to Sam's prices. This location is convenient where you don't have to drive all the way out to South County or down to 141/Manchester. Parking is pretty spacious but of course people don't know how to drive down the aisle and drive in the middle of the road or fail to yield. They actually need stop signs at the end of each aisle. The inside is well stocked and they offer different specials and items not located at the other locations. For instance, I discovered Belgium mouse, in chocolate the 6-pack in little cute glass containers which was on sale for awhile, but the item wasn't sold at 141/Manchester. I also recently purchased a really nice oversized dog bed for $24, as well as my neighbor hipped me on to these giant smoked pig ear chews which the baby loves. A 2lb bag for $21. I occasionally will grab a bag of the $9 Caesar salad but honestly prefer the $4 bag from Sam's. They have a really good selections of various new items that change over quickly, for instance......apple cider donuts. The employees are helpful when I need an item pulled down to get out the crane and pull the bundles down and open them so I can go through to find a particular color. There is a new item at the food station where you purchase the hotdogs, pizza and stuff. The strawberry swirl ice-cream with the strawberry sauce is literally strawberry cheesecake in ice cream form, absolutely delicious and creamy!!! A definite must try! I love Costco, it's definitely an upscale version of Sam's. They have a nice selection of clothes and pillows reasonably priced. There are just some things you have to come to Costco for over going to Sam's because Sam's doesn't have or vice versa. read more
