We had an appointment set up for over a month. No one showed. They offered us a $20 credit to come out three days later. That is a joke! We wanted guarantee they would show up for the days later and that was not provided either. Paid over $300 for services and they have not even happened. Scheduled a service, tech came out, said they could not do the job, charged me anyway then tacked on an additional "reschedule fee " which was not authorized, nor did we even reschedule. No attempt was made prior to the scheduling to get info on the specifics of service, to ask about equipment already available, or anything. Wasted a whole morning on this mess, and now I'm having to dispute the charges on services NOT completed which never should have been charged in the first place. (Charged as soon as we were out on the schedule despite the website claiming they don't til the job is done) This whole exchange felt like that sleazy car repair bait and switch scenario. Avoid this place. Something is definitely a bit sleazy here. New update: they sign you up for a monthly service fee without your knowledge or consent. Avoid this company at all costs. The first two techs came in to mount a tv. They had no concept of how to wear a mask in my home, constantly pulling it down over noses and chins despite being told to keep them on properly. They left the tv mounted but with stabilizing bolts loose and a tiny pinhole in our QLED screen. The second tech came in to install security hardware. We were told specifically that he would arrive ready to install. He came with no tools and no equipment. He did wear a mask but basically walked around our home, telling us nothing we didn't already know and promising a future email. We'd specifically told HelloTech we wanted installation that day. We were charged for this "service." Not a promising start. read more

He was very professional and answered all my questions with detail. There were a few issues that arose that was unforeseen and he handled them with ease. He stayed working until he and I both was completely satisfied. He went above and beyond to make sure the job was perfect! I am extremely happy with his work. Joel was everything and above!! He was personable and professional. He was very attentive to what we would want and provided his expertise to guide us with our vision. He mounted our tv and installed our tv shelves to our liking. He was very nice and attentive to his job at hand. I have a NEST Thermostat which I needed installed. I contacted HelloTech and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 7/18 at 10:00AM . At 10:10AM I received an email informing me that my tech was delayed and I would have to reschedule for later in the day or cancel. When I went to the link to reschedule their site told me my service was in progress. I tried again in 15 minute and received the same message. I called their help line, took 23 minutes of being on hold to finally speak with a rep who was friendly and professional and apologetic. She requested an appointment and later in the day i received an email with an appointment for Wednesday at 10:00am. By 10:30 I hadn't heard anything from them . I checked my status on their site and it told me my service was in progress. When I checked again at 11:00 it informed my my appointment was "unserviceable". Two mornings completely wasted , terrible communication and lack of service. For a Tech company their Tech seems very inadequate. I would not recommend this company nor will I ever use their so called service again. read more

When HelloTech installed my RING doorbell, they disconnected my home doorbell. Didn't realize the doorbell was broken for about a week. Have been going back and forth for 2 weeks between RING and HelloTech for someone to fix the doorbell the technician broke. Obviously, HelloTech doesn't feel responsible for fixing what they broke as soon as they leave--no warranty. read more

I discovered HelloTech when searching for Geek Squad. After a little research, HelloTech seemed much easier (and cheaper). I requested a bid and received a return call within 12 hrs. Great service...easy to schedule and fix my printer problem.

I was contacted very quickly after my request, I put in a request mid afternoon on Saturday with VERY limited availability (only Sunday/Monday) and was contacted Sunday morning. He was polite, concise, asked me questions about what I wanted in a wall mount, picked up the mount, and came over in a timely manner. He was quick, efficient, and friendly in getting everything set up and mounted the TV in less than an hour. Very great experience. read more

We had them come to mount a TV above the fireplace. The technician was kind and prompt but he made a mistake during the install and ending up damaging my antique cabinet. The technician apologize but that did not fix the giant hole in the front of my cabinet. I spent months going back and forth with corporate. The company sent someone out to assess the damage, but he said it wasn't fixable. They refused to pay to replace my cabinet and only offered to refund the install. I am so angry that I have a huge hole in my antique cabinet and no way to fix it. This company is difficult to communicate with and does not care to make their customers happy. I would not recommend them to anyone. If you are going to use them, beware. read more
