When I picked up the bikes, the staff were all super nice and helpful with getting bike ready to go. Since it's Seattle, you can find more than a few items that feature BigFoot on them. Service is always terrific and I like the fact that they have such a generous return policy in place if you're not satisfied with your purchase (for members on eligible items. it's within 1 year of purchase, even if gently used).

This update wasn't something I went looking for -- it just confirms the exact pattern I described above. REVIEW: I'll stick to the facts. I spent over $6,000 at this shop -- and apparently that doesn't buy you even baseline customer service. I bought my bike here, and after a front wheel/tire failure caused a crash, I went through a Giant warranty claim with Montlake. The product side eventually got resolved, but dealing with them was frustrating from start to finish -- and the real problem wasn't the logistics, it was the attitude. From the beginning, I got the clear sense the shop saw me as an inconvenience rather than a customer. Communication was poor across essentially everyone I dealt with: no timely updates, no callbacks, no straight answers, and I was the one chasing them at every step. More than the delays, it was the tone -- dismissive, condescending, and openly impatient any time I asked a reasonable question about my own bike. One phone call summed up the whole experience. A staff member told me to "chill out dude, you got a new bike even though it was your fault you crashed it," and to stop "beating a dead horse." Talked down to, blamed, and brushed off in a single call. It's also just wrong -- it reflects a basic misunderstanding of how Giant's warranty and crash-replacement programs actually work. I don't expect a shop to agree with me on everything, but I do expect basic respect -- especially as a customer who put thousands of dollars into this place. I really appreciate their complimentary services outside of the quarterly ones if it's a particularly bad season for pests. Their technicians are great, and they try to send the same person every time, which I appreciate. My current tech, Kevin, really goes above and beyond. He noticed an area near my front door where rodents were potentially hiding, so he put down some wiring to protect the area without me asking. He also gives me at-home spider traps I can use and even disposes of them during his visits since it rather grosses me out to do so :) Also, during my most recent appointment, I was totally frazzled due to meetings happening at work, and I told Kevin to go ahead and spray my garage area, and that I'd close the garage door later when I could. What I discovered later is that Kevin actually closed the door himself without me asking, which just shows that he actually thinks about the customer and what's best for them. That defines good service. Finally, their customer service folks are also great. Whenever I've had to reschedule or have questions, they are always easy to get a hold of, prompt, and friendly. Parker Eco is the kind of company where you don't have to think too hard about using their services because they're really good at what they do. That lack of mental overhead makes it easy to recommend them!

The pickup and drop-off part of this service is AMAZING, especially for someone with a busy schedule! They scheduled pick up at my house within a week despite having a high demand for wedding dress cleaning at the time, and sent me an update about what they were planning to do once they had their wedding dress expert take a look at the dress. Their turnaround time was much faster than I expected and they even sent pictures right after the cleaning was finished so I could see how well it came out! I had not requested a steaming since I didn't have plans to use the dress again anytime soon, but they did one complimentary for me which made the dress look absolutely stunning and like it was brand new. There was not a single residual stain left and the dress did not smell like anything - it was just perfectly clean. The final cost of the cleaning was exactly what I expected from the quote and I felt it was incredibly reasonable for the amount of cleaning they had to do, the speed and very high quality of service, and the helpful communication throughout the process. I was 100% satisfied with the end result and would absolutely recommend their services to anyone!

I recently moved to Los Angeles and found a new dry cleaners down the street from me that charged me half the cost for the same items which was refreshing. I thought of this place and wanted to leave a review to warn people how bad this was. These people were hostile, defensive, and greedy. They kept on hassling me about my clothes and texting me for approval for new costs. The texting person gave me an estimate and sent me like over 10 photos of my clothes to point out all the stains and hair that was on my clothes and repeatedly told me my clothes were wrinkled and very dirty. This was unnecessary and made me feel attacked and shamed. Like WTF?? I just wanted them to clean my clothes not pick faults with me! Instead, they acted like they were taking me to court! So much unnecessary stress and hassle for dry cleaners! They ended up charging me over $50 more than originally estimated because my clothes were oh so hard to clean and so dirty. Despite going over the original estimate, they still hassled and tried to guilt me for tip at the end saying they gave me a deal. What deal? Your services are super expensive! The tone they texted me was just so very rude it's like they didn't want me as a customer. I never fought them on the expensive costs but they were hostile from the start. I ended up going back to my previous dry cleaners, City Custom Tailor & Dry Cleaners in Belltown. They are not cheap either, but a little less expensive and they are chill. I do not think cheap dry cleaning exists in Seattle but this service sucks.

HEY velofix You should know what you've got(Brett) Let me tell you about the mind-blowing customer experience I just had with Brett. Seriously, this guy is next level. After dealing with some seriously disappointing encounters with other companies, I was a bit skeptical about getting my Radrover 5 stepthrough fixed. But let me tell you, Brett completely turned that around. First off, the dude knows his stuff. He's a true expert in his field, and it shows. Not only did he tackle the job with absolute finesse, but he did it with a level of professionalism that I haven't seen in ages. It's like he was born to fix bikes or something. But it doesn't stop there. Brett's kindness and genuine friendliness blew me away. I mean, this guy is the epitome of what customer service should be. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process. I am total newcomer to road biking and after much research I bought my used but still expensive 'proper' bike on Craigslist. I also bought separately the rear wheel with hub mounted power meter... When I finally got it all in my garage I only then realized that there is no way I can tune in the bike and put it all together myself... I did some more online research and came across the Velofix option, which I decided to try. The service was superb - I was there all the time (about 1 hour) when the work was done and it was clear from the start that the repairman was a real pro - everything was done correctly, quick and I also got a ton of great free advice on bike maintenance from the guy! It's actually this advice (kind of like a private 1 hour lecture) from a real and friendly professional is what I don't think I would have gotten in the traditional bike shop. Plus super-fast turnaround and all the work was done in my garage, without me having to carry the bike and parts into the shop and then wait for 2-4 days to get my bike back. Overall my experience with Velofix was superb (hence the 5 stars) and I will totally use them again for my next bike service. read more

Fast, friendly and professional! I had my first race tune up (June 2016) done by Kyle and I could not of been happier. I just started racing this year and my coach/team uses Velofix for race tunes and bike fixes. I was stoked that they come to you- beats driving all the way to Kent for a simple tune! Not only was it convenient but I didn't have to wait around long either. He was prompt, switched out my old cassette and chain and changed my breaks. I had a few questions along the way which he answered. He also explained things as he was doing them so I knew why he was doing them and why it was important. Friendly, efficient and professional. It was easy to book online with many convenient dates/time available. I received a phone call the morning of my scheduled service to let me know the provider was running a little late (though he was well within the 9-11 window I was given for a service time when I scheduled online). The service was great and the provider was so friendly. He even allowed my young daughter to see the inside of the van shop as he worked on my bike. I met the Velofix team at STP a few weeks back and was super impressed - cool guys and very knowledgeable. They also saved me with a last minute adjustment to my bike. So I decided to try the mobile service because I've got a whole family of bikes to match my family and didn't want to take four bikes to a bike shop. Velo came right to my house and cleaned and tuned all the bikes faster than I could eat dinner and clean up. The guy was super friendly and best of all he did great work and the price was much better then Gregg's. From now on this is my go to! What a great concept! read more

I am a local road and cyclocross racer. If you know about cyclocross, then you know the sport is extremely tough on the bike and the components. I have had both Kyle and Andrew work on my bike before races, at races, and after races. Each time they have performed a service the bike has performed excellent. He swapped my wheel set on my roadbike and bleed my disc brakes so they were tip top after the wheel swap. Finished everything in a timely fashion. Great job all around. I did not realize how quickly bikes can get around Seattle compared to cars (bike infrastructure is getting better every year and skipping traffic and parking is a major advantage). The big ol box and the cargo motor make it easy to carry lots of stuff. I ride my wife in the box to Cap Hill for date nights, wife + kid to Madrona Park for beach days, kid + groceries, etc. I now go weeks at a time without driving our car. The folks at Dandelion have been super helpful and responsive. Our Packster had a defective part that needed to be replaced (for free, under warranty) and needed to be shipped from Germany. I must have been visibly stressed as I walked out of the shop (not looking forward to juggling drop offs for two kids with one car) because Tyler ran out after me and offered to let me borrow one of the demo bikes until our bike was fixed. I don't know of another bike shop that would let you walk out with a bike like that and hold it for weeks. It totally saved our bacon and was much appreciated. In summary: ditch the car, get a cargo bike because it's better. Get it at Dandelion because they'll take care of ya.

I debated for a couple of years whether to electrify my road bike. I had ridden it for probably 10…read moreyears and loved it. I didn't want to spend thousands on an e-bike and have two bikes to maintain. Bike Swift was really good at setting expectations and addressing concerns I had about extra weight, braking, and changing the feel of the bike. After picking up my bike, there was an issue with what turned out to be a non standard bottom bracket. They were diligent about figuring out and fixing the issue quickly. I've since gotten a bunch of rides on my converted bike and am really happy with it. As we had discussed, it still handles well and braking is not an issue. As a plus, the system they use is very configurable as far as customizing assist levels so that even with the extra weight, a 7% assist level makes it feel just like my bike did before conversion. I would have had to pay probably $3,000 to get a lower weight e-bike that did not fit me as well as my bike still does, and am really glad Seattle has a shop that provides this service.

They had the bike in stock and said they could assemble it for me the same day, which was a big ask on my part. I ate lunch a few blocks away and when I went back my bike was ready! Much earlier than I expected. Andrew took the time to explain all the features and important things to know. Home in time for a test ride tonight. Rides great, gear changing smooth, handle bars set how I asked. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Bike Swift! You will be my first choice next trip over! FYI- parking right behind shop was easy.

I loved Recycle Cycles!!!…read more I was participating in the STP this past weekend and rented a bike from Recycled Cycles. The reservation system was super easy to use and quick to reserve. When I picked up the bikes, the staff were all super nice and helpful with getting bike ready to go. They don't rush in getting all the paperwork done and made sure I was comfortable with the hike before I rode to back to my hotel. Highly recommended for any rentals and they have a lot of decently priced parts if you need to replace anything.
