This place is kinda of a cool transitional cafe that goes from breakfast/coffee cafe to bar/late night cafe. They also have bike stuff maybe? Unclear on that as we just came for the drinks and food. My friends and I stopped by this coffee shop while exploring Capitol Hill. I ordered a chai tea latte to go and it was pretty yummy! On the sweeter/vanilla side but I finished it no complaints, 4/5. The service was ok, the seemed like they did not want to be there lol but fair enough for a minimum wage job lol. I loved the interior and ambiance of the place. GOOD! This is such a hidden gem tucked away in an alley full of cute restaurants and shops. It was really interesting--there's a bike shop in the back of this café. The food and drinks were good. They had seasonal drinks, including the honey maple latte, which I got with almond milk, of course. The drink was really good, and I was surprised that I could actually taste the maple--at some cafés, it's not very strong. The avocado toast is a must-try! Tucked down my favorite alley way - Good Weather is an excellent stop for coffee with a great kitchen surrounded by community. The seasonal drinks are creative and tasty, the matcha is bright and fresh, and the espresso is pulled perfectly. Very hip bike shop with very hip food and drink! The selection of adult beverages is small, but the quality is high. They also do a lot of custom coffee drinks. The food is twee and delightful, but the food is more "small lunch and breakfast bites" than "brunchy". You'll probably be hungry again in an hour or two. This coffeshop is tucked away in the chophouse row court yard. The baristas are friendly and the drinks and food are delicious. I always get a scone with my coffee, and I've also had their croque monseiur comes out warm and can be a a hearty start to your day, or a comforting lunch, or a light dinner. They also have a (chilled) red wine which I've enjoyed on occasion. I loke the outdoor seating area they have, which has heated lamps for the colder months (eg. 9 months of the year), and makes for a nice cozy time. I haven't seen it super busy, except on a Sunday morning once. I don't know if it's every Sunday or that particular Sunday, but it seemed to be *the* meeting spot for cyclists. I was there with my family, and the cyclists sort of started to take over where we were and edged us out. Zero consideration of personal space, and I don't recall seeing any signage about the table being reserved. This is obviously not the cafe's fault or responsibility, but if you're looking for a cozy start to your day, or a cozy wrap up to your day by yourself or your favorite people (I don't think this is particularly great for breaking up with someone as it is tucked away in chophouse row, and a quick exit may not be feasible), avoid Sunday mornings. read more

(Hint, they pre-mix, the spices, which includes sumac, and I love The vegan breakfast sandwich is so savory. Both my friend will come from Queen Anne and I will come from the east side just to visit this café Oh, and the coffee it's some of the smoothest most delicious coffee. And I have samples from wonderful cafés, living in Dubai, France, and other places in Europe ans USA. I now need to drink decaf at sometimes. That can be a disappointment but not here. I think it's my favorite oat milk, decaf coffee. ! Ever I'll be going back there today to pick up the sandwiches and an avocado toast. I love to relax whether inside or outside by the fire, but time I'm going to bring it to my friend. They have specialty coffees I think they do some seasonal ones possibly with cardamom or alcohol. What is Sony about some of their spice coffee drinks is they are not using a bunch of sugar syrup. Even if hand made those are usually full of sugar. Not here It reminds me of that Arab Gulf region, where they have saffron and cardamom infused into the coffee no, syrup Perhaps my next review will be an attempt at a Pablo Neruda style Ode because I just can't stop raving about this gem. read more

This is only for the cafe portion. I'm unsure if tipping culture has gotten out of hand in Seattle, so it's unclear what the social norms anymore for places that are not where people would tip unlike obvious places like restaurants, spas, etc. My philosophy is that if customers are expected to bus their own beverages, the beverage order is neither complicated nor is it large in size, no special conversations or beyond expected service was done, then I would not tip. So when the iPad tip sign showed up, I tapped no tip like I've done at other similar places. The staff member for that day shift immediately gave an attitude - a complete 180 shift. She also placed my drink on the bar very silently while giving a dirty look at me. I don't understand the entitlement. Perhaps we have to tip everywhere and anywhere now. I don't know the salary situation for the cafe, so I won't make any conclusions. At the same time, this attitude for an absolute bare minimum service is unwarranted. I'm trying to play devil's advocate, so maybe this is actually a bar and I should treat this like I'm tipping a bartender? If so, my apologies because I didn't perceive it this way since it's marketed as a cafe and has the appearance of a cafe. I've been in a couple times for relatively minor things and felt that I received decent service at a decent price. I felt that they really wanted to upcharge me for a "full tune" and I had to push back a bit on what I specifically wanted. It is very convenient for most of Capitol Hill so I will probably go back next time I have an issue. It's a solid shop. read more

Great communication as well via text. My wife's bike recently developed a derailleur issue that stumped another local shop. The mechanic at Good Weather diagnosed it in 30 seconds and fixed it on the spot for a very fair price. Being from Texas I'm always on the hunt for anything that combines breakfast and Mexican food! The menu is simple, which I appreciate. I ordered the two vegetarian tacos mushroom and tofu. My hubs ordered all the meat options. My favorite was the tofu and his was the bacon, but they are street tacos and $3 for $10. So just try them all :) Outdoor seating with heaters as well! The area also has two little fire pits. It looks like the sell beer, wine and champagne as well if you want to do boozy brunch!! read more

All the 5 star reviews are well deserved. I brought in a 15 year old ~$50 Huffy bike that had been sitting in my parents garage for the last 10 years. I needed a basic bike that could turn a 25 minute walking commute into a 10 minute bike commute this summer but didn't want to spend a ton of money on a nice new bike. However the old Huffy needed some work. I feel sorry for whichever bike mechanic got picked to work on such a cheap bike. But they did a great job and didn't make fun of me when I picked it up. And there are some very nice bikes in that shop. They explained what they did and in a VERY nice tone said that if I wanted anything more done or wanted any upgrades or new parts, I'd be better off just buying a new bike. Totally understandable. I took it out and went from downtown to West Seattle, to the Olympic Sculpture Park, and back to downtown. Rode perfectly. Brakes great. Shifting great. I will enjoy it. Thank you guys so much! When I upgrade to a new bike or need any other accessories, this shop will have my business. read more

I came to this winner of a "shop" to purchase a new chain for my bicycle. After I paid cash and let the employee keep the change, I was basically told to ""get out of the F**king shop with your "stolen" bike"". I was blown away by the unprovoked rudeness and arrogant ignorance in which the man treated me, a customer. I fail to understand why people treat other people so badly.... :/ Maybe he was just having a bad day, but that does not excuse the behavior. I have heard that bikes have been stolen from there.. I am new to the area and was recommended by a couple of cyclists to join the shop's Sunday social ride. It was an amazing way to see the city, and the ride leaders did a fantastic job at instilling safety for the group while respecting other users of the road. Love that they routed us through scenic viewpoints and coffee shops in the city. Can't wait to join next week's to try more of their food and drink options back at the shop. Had a very challenging, new mtb carbon wheel with liner, tubeless setup that they were absolutely dedicated to making it right - and did (great learning experience for all). I was sent here by a good friend and I have been sending everyone with bike service needs, but now it's time to pass on this positive word of mouth to a wider audience. A little tricky to find, but worth it. Grab a coffee, sandwich, and/or slushy drink after you drop your bike or pick it up. The food and drunk are on par with their bike and customer service. My wife and I purchased e-bikes and wanted to buy our gear locally. We researched helmets and found out that Good Weather carries the brand we wanted (Thousand). When we called, Jason (one of the two owners) answered and was both knowledgeable and efficient with his information; he knew which colors were in stock and knew the turnaround time for ordering others. When we arrived, Jason was there and gave us the kind of salespersonship I truly appreciate; he discussed use cases before discussing products; he gave the pros and cons of each product we checked out with our use cases and experience and bikes in mind, and he gave advice on how best to learn about other possibilities and basic safety. He also recommended a repair shop nearer to our house and a few tips for commuting. There was nothing pushy about his efforts; it was all about educating us as riders. this place is different &super cute. a bike cafe that serves beer, wine & snacks with an excellent patio, music selection and really kind people working behind the counter. we stopped in on a nice day and i got the sandwich with prosciutto and a beer. the sandwich was thin/small but good! came with a simple side salad which was nice. i really liked the plates / utensils. a nice touch and super cute. my friend got the veggie sandwich with squash and she really liked it. one thing i really liked was that tax was incorporated into the price. something that i realized really adds up in seattle coming from portland. we sat outside and enjoyed the sun and our beers and sandwiches. a super relaxed place, i could see myself coming here to work or study if i lived here. read more

Pretty great bike cafe with a shared courtyard and a well stocked supply shop so especially awesome for an out of towner. Major points for having employees or fellow customers that never mentioned I should get a woman's bike (any Shop that tells you women specific bikes are ok is out to rip you off so awesome!) ‍‍ also a great place to get tips on where to ride & soo much advice from the clerks. Reviewing for the cafe aspect since for a long time we just thought this was a bike shop. It's definitely Cap Hill's best kept breakfast secret - delicious (and affordable!) breakfast tacos, coffee and they have Seawolf baked goods now, including their sourdough loaves which are to DIE for. This is quickly becoming our go-to quick breakfast on the weekends spot because they have that nice courtyard area out back to eat by the fire and hang out. Staff is great too. Only downside for me is that they don't serve lattes/espresso drinks - just drip coffee. read more
