Fantastic lunch spot with tons of vegan options! Been meaning to try this place, and finally had the opportunity to call in a pick up order. Although somewhat pricey for a lunch plate, around 22 bucks, but the food was delicious and I got two meals out of it! Had my leftovers for lunch the next day. Huge portion of red beans and rice with a good quantity of two sides, candy yams, and turnip greens. Also came with, five or six large fried oyster mushrooms with a dipping sauce. This place is great! They were super friendly when I came in and my food was ready to go, I ordered online. Such a cute little spot, will definitely be back to dine in and try more things.
The was my first time visiting. The service was amazing, lady taking orders was really sweet and nice. The ambiance inside was amazing. The restroom area was clean and smelled nice. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap (oyster mushrooms) overall it was good my only con is it could have been fried a little order than that it was great. I would definitely be returning to try out different menu items!
I called after searching online for a vegetarian option while riding through Baton Rouge. I wanted to make sure they were still open. The person who I talked to on the phone was knowledgeable of what was available and what was not. I was disappointed that vegan lasagna was not available and a couple other items I saw on the menu online. But when I asked what was available the voice on the other side gave me a thorough explanation of all the options I had and what might sale out. Unfortunately the pasta was sold out once we got there only 30 minutes later. I was incredibly shocked to learn that the young man taking our order was the same employee I spoke to on the phone. He was very helpful - and I must mention he was 10 years old and the son of the owner chef. He had such a positive pleasant demeanor even as he bused tables and checked on us to see how we were enjoying our meal. His sister delivered our meals and later I was able to meet dad. Unfortunately I was not able to meet mom- the incredible chef making it all happen but maybe next time when I visit this gem of a place. The food was great taste wise and the presentation was nice. The cost was more than expected but quality made it worth it. Can't wait to come back and try the lasagna
This place is amazing! They were super helpful in picking out what options were also gluten free (all of the burgers!) the food was so so good and it all came out quickly. They also have a big outdoor area with some seating available! Definitely recommend if you are in the Baton Rouge area!
So thankful another vegan soul-food restaurant took over the last one that left. I've been here 3 times now, and I've had uniquely fantastic food each time. My roommate has a seafood allergy and was so excited to try the vegan shrimp even though she's not vegan. The owner is kind and amplifies small business in BR, like the local lemonade sold there. I have a couple critiques that don't make-or-break this business. I think that their social media needs to really highlight the FOOD. It's confusing to know what I'm ordering when there aren't photos posted to see. Also, I can never find the prices of what I want to order, and always end up spending over $30 on lunch. I think noting prices consistently along with promoting how delicious the food is would attract a huge college aged audience who is on instagram/facebook. Also, I've been greeted with some rude service once there before...I asked what came on the shrimp poboy, to where the girl working said "shrimp" and looked at me like I was stupid. Again, some descriptions and prices on the food would help a lot. I still wanna give 5 stars because the food is spectacular and the owner is a fantastic woman. Im so glad veganish-vibes is here and I'm gonna keep going as often as I can afford it!
Really enjoyed the ambiance and service was impeccable, my only "wish" was that the tacos came with a side lol or that we knew they wouldn't. At $20 we kinda anticipated it did. But the tacos were great nonetheless
This place was amazing!! I'm from California came to BR to visit family and was not expecting any good vegan food. My family took me here for lunch and I was very impressed! They know vegan here. We had the black bean burger (huge and delicious); seafood plate (mom was convinced it was real seafood); and red beans plate (so good!). We brought home leftovers cause we couldn't eat it all and even my dad (super picky) said it was good. I also had the fried oyster mushrooms and I had to fight off family from stealing them from my plate. They reminded me of the fried oysters I had growing up. This place is now saved in my favorites for the next family visit to Baton Rouge
I took my partner across the street for beignets and wanted some vegan ones for myself, so I had to come here to try the famous vegan sweet potato beignets for myself. They lived up to the hype, fluffy and decadent, swimming in candied yam type sauce. I ate them there to enjoy while hot. I was in a rush so to-go, I got a vegan burger with all the fixings as well that was very filling with the fries. I also got a brownie to-go that tasted like childhood. The prices felt high, but each thing I got felt like enough for two people and was super filling. The service was amazing as well, with the cashier Sharon (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) asking me questions about my road trip and offering advice on the food. I also got to see chef Nikki as well, who double checked what I was eating in the restaurant and what I was taking to-go. It was a nice place to hang out and I wish I could have stayed to enjoy the atmosphere longer!
The best word to describe this place...A-MAZ-ING!! To my knowledge, this is the ONLY FULLY VEGAN restaurant in the Baton Rouge area..I'm totally ok with that, since the food is soooo good. Now, if you're trying to lose a few pounds, this isn't the place for you. This is a vegan soul food spot..I'm talking yams, bread pudding, burgers, collard greens, lasagna, fried okra, fried oyster mushrooms, fried cauliflower wings, Mac n cheese...good ol' comfort/soul food..vegan style. These are just a few of the offerings that they have. They switch it up, so there's always something new to try. Let me tell you, this is some good food. I ordered two entrees (one for today and one for my Sunday dinner). This ISSA VIBE burger is a vibe alright..it was delicious. I ordered it with sweet potato fries (which were a $2.99 upcharge). I couldn't resist tasting the lasagna which came with 2 sides ( I chose the collard greens and yams)..also delicious!! The bread pudding was BOMB in the best way!! This is some of the best vegan food I've had thus far. Inside the establishment is cute, clean and cozy..makes you feel really comfortable. The owner is one of the sweetest people you ever want to meet. She works hard and deserves for this place to remain a success. Let's make sure that happens and continue to support this wonderful business.

Wowowow! We absolutely LOVE Veganish Vibes!!! The All the Vibes and Lady of the House and the Rodeo burgers were amazing! Portions are HUGE, food is amazing, staff is fabulous and friendly!!! Thank you so much for being so wonderful!
First time trying a Vegan restaurant in Baton Rouge and Vegan-ish Vibes did not disappoint. I ordered the Fried Mushroom platter with yams and collard greens. Everything was fresh, seasoned well and really good. Also got an order of the sweet potato beignets and they were 'Keith Lee eye rolling' good (IYKYK) and much better than regular beignets IMO. LASTLY, the service was 100.
I really liked Vegan-ish vibes. I drove from Hammond to give them a try while I was on my Daniel fast earlier in the summer. I loved the vegan red beans and rice. They were very filling and seasoned well. But, the highlight was definitely the fried oyster mushroom burger. It was so good and tasty. Could've fooled me on it not being meat. I also tried the vegan Mac & cheese that I did not personally care for. I met the owners which were lovely! The owner explained to me how she is a Cancer survivor and that is the main reason as to why she went Vegan. She offers cold food in containers to go for purchase. Which I had the Mac & cheese. She also explained to me how they don't offer to warm up the food in the containers because she doesn't want the plastic contaminating the food. I also love that they are a family owned black business. read more

This place is the jam! Had the fried oyster plate!! So delicious! Hit the spot! The vibes are on point too! So cute! Family owned! Like REAL family owned. I travel for work and hit a lot of vegan spots across the country. And I gotta say this is one of my favorites! The owner is the chef and the whole gang here is so great and friendly. read more
Lasagna was fantastic, beignets were great and good size portions. Yes a bit pricey. Would be great if they did gluten free too. not an extensive menu but enough to choose from. Lemonade expensive and have to purchase separately which is a slight hassle but it was good too. read more

So amazing!! We got the lasagna special and red beans special and a side of fried okra. Literally everything was so good, so much flavor. Great portion sizes too. Definitely one of my top vegan spots in BR . Love that their menu is always changing so you can try different things. read more

Run, don't walk! This place is absolutely incredible. The atmosphere complimented by the amazing staff, who you can tell place love and care into what they do, sets this place apart from standard restaurants. The steak quesadilla was unbeatable and is a must when available, and the Berry Chantilly Beignets was A++. If you're vegan or not you can't go wrong with Veganish Vibes! read more
