All I can say is that it was okay. It wasn't a good experience but wasn't a bad experience. Everyone was very nice which was a plus! I got a mani (shellac)/pedi (regular). The spa part of the pedi was nice, but the water wasn't warm. I asked a couple of times to put warmer water and it just never really got warmer, so I just dealt with it. The rest of the spa part was lovely though. The polish wasn't great. It got on my sandals and bled into my toes pretty good; it's just thick and I assume it'll probably chip pretty quickly. The mani was okay. Shellac had the same issue, bled into my fingers. My nails also were over filed and some are crooked. The polish on my fingers is done better than my toes at least. Anyway, overall, not good not bad. I don't get my nails done very often, but next time I'll probably try somewhere different. **updated to add: less than 24 hours later, my shellac already chopped. And I thought those were going to last longer than my regular polish on my toes. Guess I was wrong. read more

Went on a Wednesday afternoon, not too busy and not crowded for spa pedicure and an acrylic full set. I showed them a picture for reference and thought I would be good. They started in my nails and truthfully, it looked better without polish. When my nails we're done, it looked good when the oil was applied. So I didn't think anything of it. Was followed by the spa pedicure and yes, it was very relaxing. When my appointment was finished and into the next day, when the oil was washed away, I am not impressed. It's a 1 and done for me. I'll give them 1 because they were sort of nice My nails were done super thin and started coming off from the top about a day after getting them. Super expensive, a full set is $45 and it wasn't even worth it. Apparently they don't give out stamp cards unless you pay cash. The lady who was doing my nails got called over to another station to help but then she ended up helping with those nails and left me there to wonder wtf was going on. They weren't very talkative. And they charge extra fees because they have to pay for sanitary products ?? read more

I just moved to Covington so I thought I would try a new place instead of driving all the way to my usual spot. I've been in a few times for shellac nails, they've done a great job! They were very kind and worked fast but with care. My nails have lasted three weeks every time. Only 4 stars because they charge $35 for a shellac manicure which is a bit pricy compared to my normal place that only charges $25. read more

Everyone at this place is friendly and professional. I felt like a friend, like a family, someone who really took pride in making my nails so beautiful. I love feet massage and feet paraffin. Review First time going here. On Friday I had my manicure dip nails done and a normal pedicure. I felt that during the appointment they had rushed me out a bit, trying to get it done as fast as possible. They were friendly in communication in general. The complain I'll be describing is mainly about my dip nails. By Sunday one of my nails cracked and chipped already 48 hours after I got them. I contacted the shop and I was told I could come in. Due to circumstances and a holiday I couldn't come in until Tuesday. By then 5 nails had cracked and 2 nails were chipped already. At this time I was really upset and asked for money back. I was told me they don't give refunds. I went back in on Tuesday and they redid my nails. Although this manicure lasted longer, so far one finger is slightly chipped and it's been 6 days, I'm very unhappy with the job they did. Several of my fingers were trimmed uneven, originally I had asked to trim them the shape of my nails, as you can see they are super square (and short). I won't go back here and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'm just disappointed, even though they did redo my manicure with no issues. They are friendly, the second time around I felt the lady was taking her time to make sure the manicure was done well. Pedicure was good for the most part, 1 nail came off which they redid when I came in for my nails. Overall not a satisfying experience. read more

It's amazing here! I have acrylics and I'm pretty picky about them and I love them to be super super short which most nail places don't do. It takes a little longer here than at other places but my nails always look great! At other places my nails usually fall off within a week, here, my nails stay until it's time for another fill. TL;DR: Take your $50 elsewhere. Toes? Great. Fingers? Looks like I did them at home. I came here off of a recommendation from a coworker. Granted, the recommendation was for the pedicure. However, I needed a shellac manicure as well. They do them, so I got one. Whoops. The normal place that I go (in Kent) was closed so I figured I'd try them out. The gal that did my pedicure was great. She was very friendly and put the did a nice job with the polish. The lady that did my nails, though, ruined the whole thing. She was not friendly, kinda grunted as she pushed or pulled my hands, and was incredibly preoccupied. I don't need a conversation. I actually don't like the small talk conversations that take place at nail and hair salons... but she was on the other side of borderline rude. My shellac loos like I polished both of my hands with my non-dominant hand and called it a day. My nails are lumpy, jagged, and there's a couple "holes" on the side of my nails where no polish exists. I don't feel like I would have gotten anywhere if I asked her to do it again. Maybe that's my passive side coming out, but I am pretty good with my "gut" feelings. read more

I have been to Four Seasons twice and both times it was a great experience. The first time, I talked my boyfriend into getting a spa pedicure with me. We opted for the longer version of this. The leg massage was amazing and I'm glad to say he loved it! The second visit there I went in to get a pink & white set of nails put on. I saw Hellen who did a new type of gel powder dip for the set. It looks more natural than the traditional pink & white set. Hellen did an amazing job! She even got them to look great short. I type most of the day so this makes it possible to have my nails done more often! If you want the new gel, and you want to come at a potentially busy time, you should call and make an appointment with Hellen. She is the only one who knows how to apply it right now. I came here to get a mani/pedi and they were pretty busy. They told me they could take me though. They pretty much left me in the spa chair with my feet in hot water for 20 minutes before they began my service. I would have rather gone somewhere else than sat there wasting time. I also felt like they kept trying to sell me more services and I didn't care for that. The spa chair didn't even have massage and was pretty uncomfortable. I came here to get my nails done before going on a trip. I looked and looked on Yelp for a good, inexpensive, local, nail salon. Sadly for ever good comment there is a bad one for every salon around here. So I just picked one. This place was nice and clean. The ladies are very nice and even try having a conversation with you. But sadly my acetic nails did quite turn out good. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. But my nails have black residue dust from my black tips showing. That doesn't look good at all. Also both of my thumb nails are obviously not straight. I also got a pedicure. That was great. The lady did a great job on my toes. If you're in Covington, never ever go to VB Nails & Spa across from Home Depot. They jacked my nails up yesterday so badly. Also, the ONLY business license in view anywhere in the building, and when I asked it that was my nail tech I was told no and the lady on the license "was on vacation", AND the license expired on 02/12/2018 of this year! They didn't notice me when I walked in, and I waited a ridiculous amount of time, before walking in farther and almost into their chair before they took any notice of me. Fine, I needed to get these done so I let that slide. Then, they continued to talk and argue, and set up before even starting on me; draining bottles of solution and arguing, fumbling around for tools they should of had on their station already. I was sitting in a chair for almost 20 minuets before she began sanding my nails was down, and getting started. All I wanted was a simple "pink and white" acrylic gel full set with a more rounded tip. Incredibly basic, compared to some things I've seen other techs do, I wasn't asking for a miracle, just a professional. 40 minuets go by, and she's finally done laying the gel down for the pink and whites, and begins to shape them. She gets done with one hand, I look down at it as she continued onto the other, and I was horrified with what I saw. She had somehow shaped them and messed them up so badly that the curves of my nails weren't straight- half of my hands nails was curving to the left, and the others to the right. It was horrific, and none of them were uniform AT ALL. I say something to my tech, and she looks at me with a red face, storms up, and takes the place of the second tech so she could work on me, to fix the awful set the first had given me. After 10 minuets of trying to shape my nails to fix the mess, my nails are now starting to get shorter and shorter, and pointier. When the second tech could accomplish the task of fixing them, the third and final tech (who they claimed to be the manager), came in and continued to file them down EVEN MORE! She insisted that I come back in tomorrow so she can "give me what I wanted", because I couldn't sit there any longer for them to take the current train wreck off, and start fresh. I shouldn't have to come back in a second day, and waste another TWO HOURS of time, to get what I should of the first time. Then after the manager decided she couldn't fix what had happened, I asked if she could just put some color onto them so I didn't have to stare at the ugly white tips that layer before me. She told me to come back tomorrow, slopped the gel top coat on them, all white lint had been on the brush and now on my nails, and made me dry them. The clear didn't even cover the whole nail, and at least 4 nails don't have a clear coat on them, and three nails have long trapped in them. So now, I have a patchy clear gel topcoat, with lint trapped inside. Absolutely unacceptable. Then after everything happened, the manager told me that what I wanted originally in the beginning, works better with longer nails. I HAD LONGER TIPS BEFORE THEY WERE ALL FILED DOWN AND HACKED OFF BY THREE DIFFERENT TECHS. I will never step foot back into that "salon" ever again in my life, and I refuse to go back today, so another train wreck can happen, and another almost two house of my life can be wasted. I had an absolutely horrible day Tuesday, and Shane sent me off to relax Wednesday after it, to let me get away for a bit. All for this to happen. I'm not one to complain when someone is working on me, and even if it's not what I wanted, I usually roll with it- but I couldn't last night and had to say something. So please, save your money and go somewhere else. The pink part of my "pink and white", is more clear than anything. Severely disappointed and incredibly upset over this. It may not be a big deal to some of you, and completely "first world problem" (which it is in the grand scheme of life), but if I can prevent even one person from going to that joke of a salon, then this wasn't a waste of time to write. The pictures inclosed done then give the full effect of the disastrous remains of what I have. I never wanted cat claws, and that's what these are. If you made it this far, thank you, and please never set foot into this awful place if you ever want your nails done. Please, go somewhere else. If I could give a negative star rating, I would. OH! And they use toilet paper to wipe their brushes off with when they have excess solution to get off the brush. TOLIET PAPER! So unacceptable and unprofessional!!!!!!! read more

I paid $75 to get water sprayed on my jeans (like soaked and it was 50 degrees outside). They didn't even offer me a towel. I had to grab one and clean myself up. Then my toe nail got messed up when they were putting my flip flops on, and the lady started pulling at the polish to put it back in place. Then she painted over it. She also cut my cuticle. Worse nail experience ever. I was having a shitty day and needed some pampering, and ended up leaving this place feeling even worse and $75 in the hole for the terrible experience. Ugh. read more

They do a great job on nails but they really need to work on their time management. I made an appointment but waited for 25 minutes and no one had gotten to me yet. This is the second time this has happened. It's really too bad because they do nice work but I make appointments so I don't have to wait. I don't know why nail salons struggle with this. My very first and very last visit here. Absolutely the worst nail experience I have ever had! I went there with my sister to get a pedicure and their customer service started okay. The lady who did my sister's pedicure was nice enough. I had a pedicure and got my nails done. In the end, I'm sorry that I wasted my money there! I've been getting pedicures consistently for years at various places and I have never been treated so poorly as I was here! They don't speak English very well...at least they don't talk to their customers in English at all. I had 2 employees working on my nails at the same time since I had my toes and my nails done. The whole time they were talking among themselves and giggling. A word of wisdom for the staff here: When you are talking trash about your customers in another language at least don't be so obvious about it! The gestures and facial expressions give you away even if you think your words don't. When picking my nail color, I made a reference to a big meeting that I had coming up in reference to the fact that I wanted a professional shade for my nails instead of the blue I picked for my toes. Well, evidently the word "meeting" is also "meeting" in their language as well since one of them made a face and made comments about it in her language followed by laughter. Never again. Been going here now for over a year and I love it! They are always very nice and respectful of my time. When I make an appt they are always on time or relatively close which is very hard in their business. I have been to many nail salons around the area and I watch how they treat the customers that walk in and in other places I have watched nail techs laugh and talk among themselves when the client leaves. The salon is always clean and tidy. Very important nowadays. If you want a great job done and be treated like a valued client then go here. I go here because they use a good acrylic powder and do apply nails that stay put. *BUT* ... I hate this place. Reasons: Mostly rude staff, bad shaped nails, uneven acrylic powder application, bad gel or polish paint jobs, badly applied powder/glitter over gel, they will always up charge you at the end, have gotten an infected toenail from a woman here literally pulling/ ripping part of my toe nail off instead of cutting??, Bad chit chat between the ladies, always frowning or in a bad mood, not a relaxing environment, horrible polish selection. When I go here, I assume I will get a fill and then go home, reshape my nails and repaint them immediately.
