This is an amazing family run business. The owners are great people that stand behind their appliances. Tiffany is very knowledgeable. I have been a customer for at least 20 years dealing first with John and now his son Jake and would never buy new appliances from any of the big box stores. If something goes wrong which is bound to happen new or used they are right there to fix it on site. If it can't be fixed on site they will bring you a loaner until yours can get to the shop and repaired. There is always a wide variety to choose from. I'm a KitchenAid fan so, I've been able to get my KitchenAid appliances there for a fraction of the cost of the box stores. Van Camps sold and delivered a refrigerator in November. The refrigerator completely shut down in December and the technician simply disconnected plugs on circuit board and snapped them back in. Fridge is back in use. Same thing every month almost to the day. Two months in they new this was an ongoing problem. This Company brought out another refrigerator for us with no fuss and no long delay. They stood by their word to try to make the customer satisfied. I was in need of an electric stove. My stove had a broken door and we wanted to replace the door, however, our landscaper accidentally through the door away so we needed to purchase another one. I heard of Van Camps but did not seriously consider purchasing there. I changed my mind and decided to see what appliances were available. Due to the positive reviews I was hopeful. I found a great looking stainless steel electric range online and went into the store to visually look over the item. I loved it and the young lady who helped me was extremely nice, accommodating, and professional. I believe her name was Kendra (who incidentally was the new owner). I purchased the range and it was delivered and installed the next day. The delivery installer was quiet, professional and completed the job quickly. If all goes well I will re-visit Van Camp's for a washer. The place is a little older looking but it is clean and welcoming in the inside. Our 15 year old wall oven/microwave stopped working. In looking at new models, a new unit was going to set us back 3-4 thousand dollars. I am blown away by the customer service from VanCamps! I f I could give 10 stars I would! When I went to their Central location to look at their refrigerators, I was warmly greeted by the owner's wife who listened to the problems I was having with my non-cooling refrigerator. She gave me ideas of what to try to fix it and even called the "technician" for advice. The "technician" said he could swing by and take a look at it after his other service calls. He arrived not long after and I learned that Jake, the "technician", was the owner!!! He quickly located the problem and replaced the part. If I wasn't sure before, I am now that VanCamps will be the first place I look the next time I need an appliance! Not only do the appliances come with a 30 day warranty but VanCamps will take service calls from customers years later on appliances purchased from them. After having my dryer fixed 3 times (it was free to begin with) over 4 years, I asked my appliance repair man where I should get a "new" dryer, and he sent me here without hesitation. The place was clean and well organized and Cindy, the salesperson, was incredibly friendly. She did not try and sell me things I didn't want/need and was happy to stay within my budget. Got both at an awesome price and they also donated a refrigerator to my church. I moved and gave my fridge and stove to my son.
