I called Hampton Bay Customer Service and they were fantastic. The man on the phone took down the model #, date of purchase, description of problem and said stand by while one of my Tech's looks into this. About 10 minutes went by on hold and a lady came on the line and said I'm quite sure its the connection on the back of the thermal coupler, it needs to be tightened with a wrench, hand tight won't cut it. I tightened the connection she described with a wrench and problem fixed. Awesome !!! Thank you

Of course I didn't see it before I put the durned thing up...doesn't it always work that way? In the fan box was a little paper with a 1-800 number that said to call instead of return the fan to the store where it was purchased. So I made a call yesterday, my information was taken down. The glass was delivered today when I got home from work. I didn't have to send the cracked piece back, I didn't have to pay for shipping, and since when did ANYONE ship things in one day? Awesome service, what a welcome sight in an age where 'customer service' is a foreign language.

I would give a 0 if I could. Home warranty sent these guys out they dooped me into buying a new…read moreunit through them stating it would cost up to 2000 to repair the old unit. Only to be lied to continually and have things not done right or completed. Installer failed to clean the drain line, causing the unit to stop working day one (this was fixed later that night but should have been a red flag). Owner/sales Johnathan stated the opening to attic would be repaired within a week, it's now been over a month. Unit works worse than our 25+ year unit, uneven cooling, low pressure, 7-10 degree difference between room temps (this was never an issue before) No call no show multiple times, no answer to phone/text/email. Still no documentation about warranty info or service contract, not that I'd go through them after this for that anyhow. Long story short, RUN away from these guys!!

I had used Keith in the past and always appreciated that he never pressured me into replacing my older unit, even when he had previously told me that the replacement would eventually be in my future he was always honest and practical rather than trying to sell me something I didn't need. This time my AC suddenly stopped cooling and my house climbed to 90°. I called Keith expecting to wait until the next day, but after hearing what was happening, he rearranged his schedule and sent Ethan out that evening. Ethan was Outstanding and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed condenser fan motor, explained exactly what had happened, showed me the worn out motor and answered every question I had without ever making me feel rushed. What impressed me most was the honesty. At no point did anyone try to convince me I needed a whole new air conditioner. Instead, they fixed the actual problem for a reasonable price, and within a short time my house was cooling down again. finding honest, knowledgeable contractors is becoming harder and harder these days. Keith and Ethan earned my trust through their , integrity, responsiveness, and excellent communication. I highly to anyone looking for an HVAC company that puts customer service first. To date, they've refilled coolant, they've replaced a thermostat, they've done minor maintenance and full replacement. Nettles is a small business and trustworthy. They've been referred to me by multiple people and I've referred them out myself when asked by others looking for AC service. You can take what they say to the bank. If they're telling you to get a new AC, then that's what you should be doing. If they're saying yours can be reasonably repaired, then repair it. They're always my first call when my AC starts acting up and always the last call.

Unfortunately, I have to be in a Wi-Fi area in order to use my phone like that. And they don't have Wi-Fi. I needed very specific things size wise. And you're not allowed to open packaging but when you pick up a lamp and you lightly shake it and you hear broken glass, but you're not allowed to open up the package and see what exactly broke why bother buying it at half price if you're not gonna be able to use it. This happened repeatedly also I was looking for a specific size bathroom medicine cabinet. Since much of the writing on the boxes didn't have dimensions, and I couldn't open the boxes because it's against the rules. I could find boxes that I think might've had the right sized item inside but I really couldn't take the gamble especially when I can't see if they're scratches or dents or a door ripped off, etc. I think the only thing I will come back here for is tile. If you're doing a craft project and you need a few pieces of tile or you're doing something special to cover a table top and you only need a few feet. This is the place to come for the tile. Unfortunately, the majority of the tile is not labeled and not priced and I hate having to run up to the counter every single time I find something to find out how much it's gonna cost. It's just ridiculous. I found a similar place, not too far away, where the people don't mind if you open the items to look at them and they will even go so far as to take a light fixture and wire it to a test area to show you that it works. So I think I will keep going to this other place instead.
