They did an alright job, I personally wouldn't use again and I probably wouldn't recommend them…read more They damaged two items of ours, one a handmade wood cabinet that I got quoted to repair at $300 and a desk that we had to replace for $200. They sent us a check for $150. So, unless your move went well or goes well, it will cost you even more to fix and replace items if they are damaged or broken. They also charge by the hour. From our old house to our new house it's about a 45 minute drive. Took them well over 2 hours to get here which they charged us for and then added an additional hour for travel. There were three men on our job, 1 worked like a dog, 1 spent a lot of time on the truck and didn't really carry much out, and the third spent at least an hour watching planes in the sky, so money well spent on him. My husband and dad carried more out of the house than 2 of the movers. It seemed like a good price when they quoted before the move but in the end I wish we would have looked around more because we wasted a lot of money with them.

Although this review is based on my end-of-2022 move, recent reviews show this company is still…read morejust as incompetent. I had a Crate & Barrel storage bed that required disassembly and reassembly. The movers refused at first, saying, "we're movers, not handymen." After about an hour of delaying, they attempted to disassemble it and broke the bed. I've moved cross-state twice with this same bed and never had issues before. At the destination they couldn't put the bed back together, so I filed a claim (see attached photos). It took 22 emails and 12 months to get a $500 refund, which the company called a "goodwill" payment. They ignored key facts in my original claim, including the market value of the broken bed ($2,000) and that they had failed to use the local shuttle service they had promised (a $1,170 value). The refund check arrived late and included a barely legible note requiring me to deposit it within seven days to release them from any future claims. When I asked for clarification, the representative replied rudely that it was "legible to read and understand" and insisted I deposit within seven days. In my experience, this company's staff and movers were unprofessional and unethical. Photos and documentation are attached.

Highly highly recommend!! This is my first time using a moving company, I don't know about other…read moremoving companies but this one, they have made my life so much easier! Shannon was my moving specialist, she is super nice and responsive. I had a million questions and I was very worried about the move, she was very patient with me and walked me through each step, calmed me down. No hidden fees, everything's listed on the quote and if you have any doubt, ask Shannon and she can clear all your doubt out. On the day of my move, the crew arrived on time and were super efficient. All three of them were all very kind and they paid a close attention to the furnitures and all the fragile stuff. As I said, highly recommend. Really nothing to worry about, and if I ever move again, I will hire them.

We hired this company to pack and move our things in July of 2021. The movers were quick to pack…read moreand load everything onto their truck, but everything the movers did after they loaded everything was completely unprofessional and incompetent. After the truck left our old address, the movers took more than an hour to arrive at the destination which couldn't have been more than a 5 minute drive away. When the movers finally did come back with the truck, they were drinking sodas, so we assumed they just went to lunch. Nothing wrong there -- it was noon and people have to eat. However, at the end of the day they charged us for the hour they were at lunch (see attached photos). At the end of the move when we were unpacking, we saw that the movers had significantly damaged many of our possessions including our printer, an office chair, an office desk, kitchen supplies, our TV console, and had lost many items including the screws needed to reassemble our bed frame. The movers took no responsibility and just told us to search for the lost items in the old apartment (which did not have the missing items). Unfortunately we did not get an upgraded insurance policy as we did not expect a $240/hr company to be this bad at their work. We naively believed that a company with glowing reviews on the internet could do their jobs correctly. Nonetheless, we decided we would settle for the $0.60/lb reimbursement. After nearly a month before we finally got ahold of Prime Moving again for reimbursement, they simply denied that their movers had done the damage and refused to reimburse us for more than $100 for having caused nearly $500 of damage. Apparently if you don't take before and after photos of everything you own, they can just deny that their workers did anything wrong. It's truly a shame that this company won't stand by the quality of their work.
