You would be wise to avoid this outfit. They are located in the ghetto and do not have a credit card machine for good reason. My purchase experience was pleasant, and my impression was good and that this was a stand-up guy. Unfortunately, things turned south. XAMUSA called and needed to cancel the appointment and reschedule delivery. Then they did it a second time. Then on the day the items were finally delivered, the delivery guys showed up TWO HOURS late causing me to miss appointments. The guy in charge (Marcos) didn't speak English and more importantly didn't comprehend English. The other guy (Thomas) was nice, but I got the impression that he was brand new and did not know much about appliances and instillation and that he was there to help push, carry, pull, etc. The installers seemed to think that they were supposed to put the dishwasher in the garage. I explained that we wash our dishes in the house, not the garage. I requested the unit to be installed in our kitchen. They called Ashtien the owner of XAMUSA and he wanted me to pay an extra $50. I was already frustrated because the guys were 2-hours late arriving after rescheduling twice and told him that I was not willing to pay extra. They installed the dishwasher, but did not have the necessary hose clamp to affix the drain hose to the plumbing so it couldn't be used without a trip to the hardware store. The instillation of my fridge was a nightmare. Neither the ice nor the water dispenser worked and the installers damaged my new cabinets. I called Ashtien the owner of XAMUSA about the issues with the fridge and he treated me RUDELY. He kept talking about what a deal I had gotten and how I had received "free" instillation of the dishwasher. Today, I tried to work the issues out with Ashtien the owner of XAMUSA who is unprofessional and hostile and started cursing at me. He sent me dozens of belligerent text messages. Had bought a Wolf wall oven and cooktop. Had his installer deliver and install. Never showed up on delivery date. After phone messages finally answered and arranged another date. When installed oven did not work, when called was very vague about what I could do. Ended up demanding another oven. He could do this for another $800 and selling non functioning on consignment. Cooktop also did not work. When burner turned on gas and flame came out under the seals and flames 4 inches high. I called the official Wolf repair service to look at products. The oven was none repairable and all seals were broken. Cost of repair$400 + service charges. I then contacted PayPal and filled a dispute. I won and had money returned to me. Within a day, I received a call back. He not only found one that was in PERFECT condition, but took the next 72 hours to thoroughly inspect the unit and make certain it met his standards. His standards are a thirty point checklist that he puts each appliance through before selling them to a customer. Ash is extremely knowledgeable about appliances...the features of each brand and the mechanics of how they work. I received a six month warranty with my purchase and feel comfortable the only time I will need to see Ash again is for another appliance to complement my refrigerator. I will never do business with this company or recommend them to anyone. I've only done a few Yelp reviews ever but since the owner of Xamusa insists I do one, here it is. I was happy with paying the advertised Craigslist price for their built in refrigerator but the condition and customer service from Xamusa was horrible. The frig was delivered with deep scratches inside and a broken drawer. A replacement drawer and touch up paint was promised but still not received after 3 months of asking for it. This refrigerator was advertised as like new condition with a full 6 month warranty and was assured it was in perfect condition both mechanically and cosmetically from the owner of the company. First week after delivery it leaked water ruining the hardwood flooring underneath and a few weeks later the compressor went out loosing all groceries. After 2 1/2 months of this refrigerator not working, repairs were done with used parts and the unit is still not working correctly. Just yesterday when I contacted the owner of Xamusa about the frig still not staying cool inside he told me the warranty was voided, this was the second time he has tried to void the warranty. He said not to call or contact him again and to call someone else for the repair leaving me high and dry. His claim to void the warranty this time he said was because I refused to pay the travel fee on the compressor warranty call, that's not what happened. I tried to pay with a credit card before the technician left but was told it was to late at night to call in the payment and the owner would call me the next day for it. The first time he tried to void my warranty was because I had not given a positive yelp review. This was two weeks into the 6 month warranty and there were problems with the refrigerator already surfacing, not to mention he never said anything to me about giving a review, it was not in the ad with the warranty information or in writing, but I was told multiple times after that I had to give a positive yelp review. Seeing only three other yelp reviews in the Phx area confirms this is not a warranty requirement. There have been alot of problems with communication as in not answering the phone or responding to written communication at times. The refrigerator has other issues that I'm willing to live with, I just needed it to keep food cold and frozen, but he tells me I'm being picky. I would love this refrigerator.....if it worked. read more
