I've shopped and purchased appliances at B&B appliances four times now. Once was a dryer that died in a rental home, once for a dryer that my kid sent crayons through (I tried and tried, but just couldn't clean that dryer drum enough), another to replace kitchen and washer appliances in my own home, and kitchen appliances for a rental. I appreciate the selection between new, out of box new, pre-owned and reconditioned. I come in with a budget and an idea of what appliance needs I have and it's easy to find what fits within your constraints. I've never received an appliance that hasn't worked and their delivery has always been within the estimated windows. I've shopped around at other national, local and independent retailers and B&B has always had the best prices for the same or similar item at competing stores with delivery and takeaway of the old. I won't say that I shop at B&B exclusively because I always do my research and shop around, but I've yet to NOT to purchase from B&B after comparing four or five appliance retailers. Take that for what it is, a ringing endorsement for you to not waste time waiting for a deal on Black Friday, Memorial Day or Fourth of july and make your way to B&B for your next appliance purchase. read more

Spent nearly 5k on a beautiful set of speedqueen washer and dryer. My old dryer died so rather than have a mismatched set, I bought a new set. Sadly when the installers came my hot and cold water valves broke during installation. I asked the owner to split the expense(I specifically asked if he'd pay $75). He said no, not his problem. My old washer worked fine, I had no problems. This is a really unfortunate way to run a business and I will not ever return. read more

I purchased a "New out of box" GE washer and Dryer. Due to some unforeseen issues my delivery was delayed by one week. No problem, I didn't mind the wait. But what I do mind is seeing upon delivery that my machines had scratches and dents! So, I took pictures and called the store. Only to be told that the words "New OUT of box" on my receipt means "Scratch and Dent." What? And, "New IN box" means brand new. Really? So why not say Scratch and Dent on the receipt and explain the difference to the customer up front? You can call it a scam, false advertising, whatever...I call it bad business. Lesson learned, don't do business with this company again. read more

So over the years I purchased used appliances from B&B with good results but I've never purchased new. My six year old washer stopped working just a diagnostic service call from repairmen would have been $100 with parts (if it could have been fixed) and with labor it seemed more cost effective to just purchase new. Which the saying they don't make'em like they used to holds strong. My parents washer is literally still spinning along at 15 years old. Over the course of two days I did online big box retailer research with most retailers all being competitive in price with similar models in stock. We chose B&B based on two things. Local mom and pop and location. Rhonda took care of us. She showed us what models they had in our price range and made sure what models they had in stock. Literally within 15 minutes of arrival we had purchased our washer, paid for it and had it loaded and e were on our way. Joey was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. They are going to send someone out to check my appliances for leaks, we haven't had any issues, but my neighbor had an appliance leak that went undetected and caused a lot of damage to her floor boards and mold was even detected. I have bought two refrigerators in the last 2 years, one just days ago for my garage. The labor day deal was wonderful and the frig I wanted was perfect for the space I needed. I have always had wonderful service and quick delivery and set up. The men working there are courteous, friendly, and always willing to help. I am writing this review to express my surprise and dissatisfaction with B&B Appliances' business process regarding a recent service call. I was charged $155 for 10 minutes of "work," which I find unreasonable. Additionally, I received an estimate from Davis that further raised my concerns, and I did not feel comfortable with him in my house. To verify the issue, I contacted another technician who arrived last Saturday and fixed the problem within one hour. My freezer is now working fine. Given these circumstances, I requested an immediate reimbursement of the $155 charged for the "service." They do not care. They charge $155 to visit you and do nothing, making a lot of money with that process. Unfortunately, I received a reply from them accusing me of yelling rudely, which I never did. I am in shock and feel insulted. Be aware of this business. Never again. read more

Talked to Ernie and their pricing for a new washer and dryer was reasonable. Went into the store and worked with James. Pricing was even better for the set so that was easy. They sell reconditioned and new products that may have cosmetic scratch or dent. Hard to find the slight blemish. Mark did the installation and he even switched the dryer door. I purchased a new General Electric refrigerator from B&B October 9th and it was delivered October 10, 2023. The first part of December the refrigerator started failing. I called B&B and they informed me that it was a General Electric warranty and I would have to contact them. I asked B&B if they had a loaner refrigerator to use because GE wasn't coming out to repair the refrigerator until December 27th (20 days later). Even though they have used refrigerators, they wouldn't let me use one until General Electric got mine repaired. General Electric never showed up so I called General Electric again and found out that no parts had ever been ordered. I again called B&B to see if they could help. They declined to get involved with the issues I had with the refrigerator I purchased from them. It is now January 16 and still no working refrigerator. The woman who I called to schedule to come look at the dryer and dishwasher, was very rude, talking over me. I asked for a Saturday appointment, she states "we are closed on Saturdays" I asked for the last appointment of the day as I don't get off work until 4:00pm. She refused and said they only schedule in the Mornings, I asked for a different options. she told me to leave the door unlocked for her repair person to get in, I told her that is not an option then proceeded to tell me to have a neighbor let them in, again not an option, and to also leave my young minor child at home so that her repair man can get in, When I told her that is illegal. she said she will contact my rental company to put a key in the lock box so the repair man can come by when he chooses. I notified my rental company, Unfortunately for me when I requested a different repair company the company I rent from refused as they have a signed contract with the company for appliance repairs. The women who I spoke to at the office of BnB told my rental company I was rude to her. I had to call them back and schedule someone to come by, the woman was even more rude and actually yelled at me when I told her I was not going to leave my minor child at home alone for her repair man. My rental company called them and someone came out on a Saturday, when I asked if the company had Saturday hours he told me yes he works every Saturday doing repairs. This company lies to benefit them. I don't know why the woman lied and I am hoping she is fired after someone in the company reads this review. read more

I was very happy and impressed with Rhonda's knowledge and assistance for me to pick out the perfect fridge for the best price out there. I can't brag enough about the service we received from Rhonda at B&B! We had a drop-in stovetop that was hard to fit. The first order she suggested they come out and measure before purchasing it. It wasn't a fit. Difficult situation as this was for a home inspection on a resale. She researched and found what would work! We purchased a Speed Queen top load washer and dryer set from B&B Appliances back in 2017, and have been thrilled with the old school, reliable performance of these quality machines. Fast forward to 5 years later, and we noticed a burning smell coming from the washing machine. Their service department sent Joe out, who quickly diagnosed the issue as a seized idler pulley, and was able to replace it within half an hour for a very reasonable price. That resolved the burning smell, but unfortunately in the following days we noticed a new symptom of a rattling noise during the wash and spin cycles. B&B was quick to send Steve out to see what was going on, and he identified the issue was with the recently replaced idler pulley assembly, so he replaced it again at no charge! Sadly, the noise persisted, but Steve was confident that it was still the idler pulley assembly, and suggested that perhaps they had been given a batch of bad parts. He assured us we were safe to continue using the machine in the mean time, but said they'd follow up again. Today, Joe came back out and replaced the idler pulley assembly for a 3rd time, again at no charge. And hooray! The noise is gone, and everything is back to perfect working order! The reality is that anyone can be shipped a bad part, so that is not a negative reflection on B&B Appliances. What stood out to me was the fact that they took responsibility for making it right, and returned for two additional service calls, to be sure the issues were resolved, at no cost to me... THAT is what you call amazing customer service!! Every phone call and every interaction with their service team in person has been polite, professional, and helpful, in spite of a seemingly simple fix that proved to be more challenging than expected. I see the mixed reviews here on Yelp, but I'm personally very impressed, and will continue to recommend these guys to my friends and family in the future. read more

Never again! let me tell you what 35 years of buying from them got me nothing but trouble! I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator from them a little over a year ago $2300. First the water filter was old and did not work had to replace it the first week! The list goes on then the Led lights in the freezer went out, not suppose to happen according to the book! that costed $473. Now the refrigerator refrigerant value failed and the fresh food evaporator is not defrosting. sealed system issue. Sorry we don't fix that problem to costly. B&B Appliances is very disappointing business. They charged me almost $300 for nothing. I used them to furnish a washer for one of my rentals. The first washer brought out was defective so I gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation. Then they brought a 2nd defective washer. I don't understand how they would think this is ok. It was a nightmare scenario. The tenants were upset and without a washer for a month. Not to mention the addition cost I incurred to finally get a working washer from Lowes. I called whirlpool and they sent a tech out 2 days later to look at it. The tech confirmed that the freezer had a bad board and there were no parts in stock anywhere. They said that "we may have one in stock next week" I called B&B back and explained the situation. They were little help. They didnt have anything to exchange and really didnt seem to care about the inconvenience. They had the "Oh well, not my problem" attitude and seemed genuinely bothers that I called them about it. I understand that the bad board wasnt their fault. But the lack of help and lack of customer service is their fault. I guess once they get your money, you are on your own. read more
