The dryer was screaming and the washer wasn't draining so I got quotes from different companies using the Yelp quote feature but I knew there was a company I've used before so I hunted them down and sent a request to them as well. E&J service work is friendly and efficient, and they regularly go the extra mile to do more for less. They are also quick to let us know when it's a better value to replace an appliance than it is to fix one. We should have written the above review some time ago; but what occurred yesterday was outstanding. We had a dishwasher throw a fatal code earlier this week. E&J told us it was time for a new machine and recommended a well known appliance store here in town. When that store's installers couldn't remove the old dishwasher without damaging our kitchen, Ernie, the Owner of E&J came to our home himself and took care of the problem free of charge. We don't expect free work from valued suppliers and insisted Ernie take something for his service; but what a difference E&J is from the big appliance store installers who demanded more money for a job they couldn't do without damaging our home. Thank you Ernie and thank you E&J!

I called and spoke to them, they said "Sorry no warranty on that repair". They had charged about $1,000. I had a different repair company fix my stove. The problem? When Lux repaired it, they pinched a wire inside the assembly and over 3 month's use it cut through the insulation and shorted out. This is clearly a workmanship issue from the prior repair.
