My 20 y/o GE Monogram wall oven had stopped working. It had power to the electronic display, and everything worked until the oven should have heated up. I checked the elements, and power as far as I was able to, and it was time to call the pro. Brian from Mallard was available the next day. Most others had said it was up to four weeks before someone could even diagnose my problem.my problem. Brian was prompt, meticulous, and while it took a couple of steps to determine the exact problem. Brian was professional & methodical the entire repair. The part that was the ultimate problem was not available through GE any longer. Ryan and Rebecca had to research available options and through their determination, the part was found and delivered within a week, when it could've been much longer. So far, I could not be more pleased. My dishwasher stopped working over the weekend. Here it is, Tuesday morning, and Brian has already come out. On time, extremely personable, did the troubleshooting, cleaned up after his work, and discussed the issue and possible solutions. Within hours, I had an estimate for the parts he needed and the labor. Estimate was well below expectations (certainly not complaining about that). Waiting now to find out when he can get the parts and come back for the final repair, but if he continues the way he has been going, I will have to be writing another 5 star revue in the next week or so. Service Technician, Brian arrived on time and was able to identify the problem quickly. We received a repair estimate that day and approved it quickly. An install appointment was scheduled. Brian arrived on time and replaced the faulty part, tested the stove to make sure everything worked properly, processed our invoice and was on his way. My refrigerator stopped working and I needed someone out urgently. I called and was able to get an appointment within 2 hours, which was amazing as every other business I called couldn't be out until the next morning at the earliest. Hood Vent lights - shouldn't need to hire a repair guy, right? Not if you have a poorly made GE product. Luckily Brian of Mallard Appliance was able to help us out.
