And now being harassed for a tip through text The dryer came without an electrical cord, and when I called customer service, I was told it was not included (wait, what?) I was told it was sold as is but that everything was tested. I opted not to spend an additional 180.00 for the warranty. (My bad) I got it all set up and added a cord to the dryer. Bought a refrigerator, washer, and dryer plus three extended warranties. All were supposed to be new. Dryer broke after several months, the manufacturer won't cover because someone else had purchased it at Home Depot registered it and then returned it where it was then purchased by Appliance Liquidation. Extended warranty won't cover because Appliance Liquidation took our money then never purchased the warranties from CPS. CPS says they won't work with Appliance Liquidation anymore. Management never calls me to resolve. Mike the salesman is not helpful. I have filed a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General and have retained legal counsel to sue. Stay away from this place. OMG! I can't believe this place can even stay open. It has to be some sort of front! I first arrived to the store at 1430 hour (2:30pm) to find a sign that said "be back at 3:00." There must have been at least 15 people come and go between that time, but I was determined. I noticed an hour before they posted a room full of chest freezers and I am in dire need of one. I waited until 3:00 and as soon as the door opened I followed the eager crowd in. I'm going to be honest, if you are not good at cornfield mazes this is not the place for you. This place is littered with appliances so I walked around to find this chest freezer stash. 30 min later I realized I was failing the search. I approached the lone employee at the front, who was knee deep in some sort of soap opera on tv, and asked if there were any chest freezers. Lurch then turns and said "no!" And turned back to his portal of misery. Before walking a way, I noticed another lost sailor stop at the front desk. She asked "I am looking for a specific refrigerator I saw on offer up and can't find it. do you mind helping me?" Satan then turned as if one of his horns were stolen and said "NO! I am the only person here, all the appliances are on the floor, you just have to look through them." Wow! I really wish I would have read these reviews before I bought from this place. They have all kinds of posts on OfferUp advertising amazing deals on what appear to be great appliances. You get to the store and it's a mess, the deals on OfferUp are nowhere to be found, and most of the appliances are pretty badly banged up. I was in a pinch and needed a washer and dryer, so bought a set for $500, get it home and installed, and it's useless. Washer doesn't fill up all the way, and the dryer makes a terribly loud banging sound. I can't get any assistance from the store or get my money back. Single mother of 4 kids, and now I'm out $500 and no washer and dryer. Total scam. Bait and switch advertising. Terrible products. I don't know how this place is still open. I came in to pick up my purchased appliance at 3:15pm and the guy just shut the door in front of my face saying he is clocked out for lunch and I had to wait for one hour for him to came back. It would take me 5 minutes to just get my appliance out of the store but he did not even want to listen to me jumped into his car and left. I ended up paying extra for the truck rental as I had to wait for one hour for him to come back. I was the only customer and I am sure he would not starve if he just gave me 5 extra minutes. Oh boy, what a terrible place. If you haven't read the other reviews please do so. Our experience was seeing an add on offer up for a refridgerator. We contacted them and they said they had it. Drove an hour to get there and surprise! The indifferent sales person said he knew nothing. I told him this is obviously a bait and SWITCH scam and I'll make sure social media hears all about. We contacted yelp and Facebook to warn them about these scammers. We'll see what comes of that. We also filed a complaint with the CT Consumer Protection agency. It's easy to file a complaint and I would encourage everyone to do the same. If you don't follow through they will just keep scamming other people. Hopefully someone will get off their ass and do something about these scammers. This is the first negative review we've ever had to post. Still furious over their lies and indifference. I returned back to the store within an hour of purchasing to tell them that what they sold me wasn't functional (the guy was out for lunch, so we had to wait) Once he was "on the clock" he said let me get you information. Sent my information to someone who then called. Took down my information but has not been in contact since. They refused to give me a working one. Instead, I am stuck waiting for a warranty claim, I do not have a washer and I'm out $500+. I went back to the store and told them and they said someone would call me. Well that never happened. I did finally get ahold of a man with a strong middle eastern accent. He assured me that it would be taken care of, just send him pictures of the mfg. and also my receipt. That was January 5th. I am still waiting. Just like others have stated, got washing machine home and it did not work. Tried to resolve with merhcant and complete run around for 3 1/2 weeks. Tried to resolve with my bank and apparently because its an 'in person' transaction, there is nothing they can do. So basically, if you want to throw away $1000, I highly recommend buying from these guys. If you dont have that kind of money to throw around, go elsewhere. We were assured by the guy on his phone who rang us up at the store that everything is 'guaranteed' to work and is under warranty.
