They also stated the additional free of charge duties included with the oil change which was a great touch. The price of the oil I feel is a bit more pricier than your average, but for a 20 min service I'm ok with the additional bucks for that. I may have found my new lube station!! read more

I went in on Friday for an oil change. I was told that a tech had made a mistake while checking the tire pressure and that the tire would no longer hold pressure. The manager told me that they would put my spare tire on and sent me to discount tire to get the tire repaired. I was told that the store would pay for the repair. So I paid for the oil change, and went to discount tire. When I got there, I was told that the tire was fine and that the damage was actually to the wheel itself. I went with the cheapest option I could find... and spent $200 to replace the wheel. Obviously no one is excited about having a mismatched aftermarket wheel on their car but it was really the only option available to me. I came back to Valvoline and the manager said that he didn't expect to pay for a new wheel, and told me that he'd talk to the company about resolving the issue. Well four days later and no contact I had to call the store myself and they told me they'd give me a twenty out of their register. There was no indication that the store ever intended on calling me back, and there was no information about any communication about my issue. I was surprised that after paying $70+ for an oil change that damaged my vehicle, I was essentially ignored by the store after I was told they'd make it right. So now I'm stuck with a wheel I didn't want, down hundreds of dollars to fix a problem I didn't cause, no instructions on who to talk to, no one taking the initiative to reach out, and after having to call multiple times myself, a store that basically offered me a twenty out of their register to "make it right". Honestly, if the manager had comped the oil change and apologized for the mistake, I would have gladly chalked it up to being human, gone and got my wheel fixed, and continued to be a loyal customer. 1. Service - staff appears to be honest, and they recommend many services other than what you come in for. For example, I came in for an oil change, and they offered services for air filters, and windshield wipers, etc. I declined everything I didn't need as I had already changed everything myself recently. The concept that you can wait in the convenience of your own car was different from other mechanic shops. Also what's different was that there were 2 cameras on your vehicle. You can see an aerial view of the mechanic(s) looking at your engine from the front, and even the mechanic under your vehicle actually changing the oil. This is a great idea as they are trying to show that they have nothing to hide. 2. Price - a tad pricier than other places I've been to, but we come here because of how good the experiences have been. 3. Ambiance - this is a three car garage, with a mini waiting room. Depending on what service you may get, you may not have to set foot out of your vehicle. However, if it may be a timely service, they may ask you to wait in the waiting room, or you can choose to walk next door to Starbucks! Mind as well! 4. Timeliness - their motto is "30 minutes oil change". Indeed, pretty efficient and they deliver on time. 5. Quality - They told me I could wait a little for certain recommended services. I didn't expect that, but I really appreciate their honesty. I've had good experiences thus far. I do recommend trying this place out. read more

I brought my car here because it was the only one that carried my oil filter. The next day all the oil leaked out. I had to park at a different location near my home overnight. The location there filled my car with and pushed my car out saying they wouldn't do any more to it. 3.5 quarts and sent me back here where they made me wait in line until my car would not start. They did the oil change pushed my car out and would not help and became rude. The next day I had to put $430 more into my car. I called the claim department and the manager said he saw on the cameras that they did everything correctly. We have had our oil changed at this location ever since they opened and have done so because of their location. Customer service is very good when your there. My issue is with the technicians that change the oil and perform the work. On one occasion we developed an oil leak soon after getting the oil changed. We took the car back to Valvoline and we're told that the oil pan gasket was leaking. So we took our vehicle to our mechanic, only to be told the oil filter was cross threaded and was leaking. Okay, mistakes happen. The last time the oil was changed my Wife was advised to have the air filter changed. I told her no, I would change that myself due to being much cheaper if I did so. When I opened the air box to change the air filter I discovered that the Valvoline Tech had left his red oil rag in the air box. Thank goodness it was on the intake side and not the engine side. Now that I have had two major issues that could have resulted in costly repairs we have resorted to having our mechanic change the oil. Check your vehicle thoroughly after having it serviced at this location if you choose to have your oil changed here. read more

21,900 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, TX 77379. went to this facility on February 29 and had the oil changed A week later, I noticed a pretty good sized oil leak. I took it to my mechanic and he asked me if I had just had the oil changed.. It turns out they put a quart to a half too much oil in my engine, which blew out the rear crankshaft seal. I put in a claim and had not heard from anybody for quite a long time until today when they said that's not their fault. I'm out $1700 read more

My husband took one of our cars in to this Valvoline and the technician broke our wheel while checking the tire pressure. They said they would pay for it until they realized it was the whole wheel that they broke and not just the valve stem. After my husband got the wheel replaced with an aftermarket tire they ghosted him. A customer service representative posted on his review that they would like to work with him to resolve his issue but he reached out to them a month ago and they still haven't responded. This oil change ended up costing us $295 total and now one of our wheels doesn't match the others. The more I have read, the more I have seen a pattern of this kind of damage to peoples vehicles at this Valvoline oil change sight. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the damage to your car. There is an Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers just a few miles north on Kuykendahl and a jiffy Lube on 2920 and Kuykendahl that can change your oil with way more reliability and professionalism. I used this service months ago to get my oil changed. I took it to a place a little closer to my house and they could not remove the oil plug. Took it to another place. They still could not remove the oil plug. We decided to take it back to Valvoline. They dealt with our frustration and removed the oil plug with no problem and change the oil.
