I came in to get a oil change and left with a hood that wouldn't close. I had to get my hood repaired immediately somewhere else since my alarm in the vehicle was on at all times and after talking to management at the store and the district manager they did not offer anything to repair my vehicle. To say I was disappointed is an understatement considering how many times I have come to Jiffy Lube over the years and with multiple vehicles. Went here for a state inspection and failed for having 20% tint on front windows when you cannot have less than 25% . My car has passed the last 3 years , I also bought this vehicle from the dealership and have not altered it once ! I did not agree and took my vehicle to CALIBER AUTO CARE and they showed me that my tint was actually at 33% !! A whole 13% off ? So I paid for the new inspection and went back to jiffy to get a refund . The man FERENCE BARNES explained that caliber was completely wrong and he knows that he is correct , so I ask him to show me . Before he preformed the tint test I ask him to recalibrate the machine to which he declined . Says that he already did in the morning and would read the same . I said for the sake of this test I need it to be recalibrated to which his employee agreed that would be fair !! He showed me a test tint and it read 26% on the meter but the test tint was labeled 27% . I could see it was already 1% off but not a whole 11% !!! And what do you know ?? My car read the same as calibers reading , 33% !!! So he failed me but he was wrong and wasn't happy that I proved him to be wrong ! He asked me " well what do you want from me ?!" Ugh a refund dude , either you made an honest mistake ; to which he should have taken accountability for . Or he is wrongfully failing people to cop $25 extra .. and if that's the case I can only imagine how many other people he does this too ! Ok. I tried this place again for an inspection only. One car ahead of me in the inspection stall. Other 2 stalls empty. So, 2 people standing around, 1 guy doIng a current inspection, and 1 guy on what looks like a smoke break. Waited until car was finished inspection, then 1 of the folks standing around, got into my car and drove around the parking lot checking blinkers, horn, etc. 20 minutes before someone actually touched my car. I understand there's only 1 stall for inspections, but the other things could have been done while my car was sitting idle and 3 folks were standing around. I don't recommend this place as there's others down the road. read more

I use to bring my own oil and filter for you to do my oil changes, and you would only charge me for labor and disposal and it was under $30. Now you want to charge me over $50?? wow!! I am bring you my own oil and filter, all you have to do is change it, so why do I have to pay the same fee as if I didn't bring you my own supplies? Makes no sense. Told me it would be a little over $60 for an oil change. After about 25 minutes their customer service guy pulls me aside and says the total is actually $88 instead. I said I can go to the OilSpot on 1960 for about $60, and asked to take my vehicle back. He says we already drained the oil out... How are you going to tell me it's about $60, then raise the price by almost 50% higher than the original quote, and then drain the oil before letting the customer know or decide? That's the epitome of entrapment. I'll stick to the OilSpot from now on. In and out in 15-20 minutes and the price has always been $60-$65. They also come and bring you cold water bottles while you wait. read more

I stopped at Wal-Mart 1st Bad idea. They didn't have time to ask me how the could help me. Jiffy Lube popped up on Yelp. Twice the price of Walmart. Topping off fluids not included. Friendly. Their computer programs show them various services required during the life of your vehicle. Up selling is just good business. Sweep your waiting area floors. One employee I ask "you don't look happy to be here". He answered "I'm not". That explain his attitude and face. Business wise good experience. read more

So take the wives car for a State Inspection and they just assumed that it is ok to take the car apart and bring in all the filters and tell me they need replacing. Never once did they ask. Then on the way home one of my tires all the Sudden needs air. This place is a mess I will never go back there again. Use a small business from now on for me. These places are a joke. read more

I always come to jiffy lube for my oil changes. This is my first time visiting this location because I moved and it's closer to my new place. I will def be coming back. What I love about jiffy lube and what keeps me coming back is how they show you on the screen everything the dealer recommends for your car. When to get the tires rotated and all that stuff. And they tell you how much it's going to be before you agree to have it done. I feel like they made their recommendations but weren't trying to oversell me on anything which is important to me because I'm a girl and feel like places could rip me off. This location I was greeted so friendly and it was very clean. I highly recommend this place. Update: the guy told me the price he originally told me was lower and what they actually had to use was more expensive so he gave me a discount. As soon as I drove off I heard it making a weird sound so I brought it up and they stopped what they were doing and helped me right away. It was not their error it was the people who put my new tires on. So they were able to tell me were to go to get it fixed. Great customer service! read more

As I approached I was told 34-45 minute wait on oil change. My car is 2 years old, so it's just a quick oil change. I watched 4 people leave before me who came in after me. I have waited over 1 hour and 15 minutes and my car still hasn't driven in the bay. I'm a pretty patient person, so I would suggest in the future you tell your customers you are running behind. Waited til the last pea in the dish (because that's what you do with vehicle inspections, admit it) and headed here on the 30th for my TX vehicle registration inspection that expired on the next day. They were hopping (oil changes), yet no one seemed to be in the waiting room for more than 20 minutes, the banter was light, the smiles were plenty and the price was right. This place is amazing!! And Becca was so helpful! My daughter was taking her drivers test and we discovered a taillight was out. They took us in tight away and went above and beyond to fix the issue. She even tried to save me some money on the bulbs! She fixed the issue and DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING!! So impressed with them and I highly recommend them. read more

Please make sure you get a receipt. I let it slide in July when they told me it wasn't printing after I paid $80 in cash. Now they can't find that transaction and have me down for a "top off" only (about $13) and I need an oil change AGAIN! After only 2000 miles. This was my second time with them and it's hard to believe they'd do this. The previous oil changes I had were fine and they are quick which is great. This place is full of the kindest people. The first time I went in May, I got an inspection done. It was fairly quick and easy. The second time I went, I had lost my inspection papers and was already so late on getting my registration stickers updated. I'm a mom of a 1 year old, and life is hectic. So losing the papers didn't surprise me, but I was hoping so dearly I didn't have to blow another $40 to get inspected again. Dorian took care of me and my daughter with haste. Hooked up my car, checked in the system if he could find it, and did! He reprinted my papers and sent me on my way in 15 minutes or less. It was a Godsend. These people are genuine and honest. Despite my bad experience I went by there again, this time to drop off recycled oil. I was met by one of the regular workers as I backed my pickup truck up to the far left stall that has the oil sump. The oil I was recycling was 15-20 quarts of unopened oil of various types but all sealed. The large container they were all in had rain water in it, and when the worker saw that he said we don't take oil mixed with water. I told him the oil was sealed, unused, and no water had mixed with the oil. He then said I'm not taking the oil, it's all wet, and was nasty about it. I have been going here nearly 10 years. I am definitely taking my business elsewhere. Place has no leadership. Just a bunch of smart as kids. read more

Place is a dishonest rip off. Before arriving I carefully checked both windshield blades which had no rips, cracks, etc. Also operated them with no streaking. Both in excellent working order. When arriving I told tech David to let me know if the wiper blades had problems. Sat in the waiting room, soon he arrived with the driver side blade with the blade rubber ripped 1 inch on an end! Why would they purposefully do this? Simple - they sell wiper blades. I protested and he told me I wouldn't be charged and I left. Later in my bank statement, this Jiffy Lube charged me for a vehicle inspection - BUT NO INSPECTION WAS MADE AND I NEVER GAVE THEM MY CARD OR AUTHROIZED PAYMENT BY PIN NUMBER OR SIGNATIURE. Bank said they got my card info from another Jiffy Lube, with which I had a previous visit. Bank said they could tell this by the type of transaction on my statement. This a fraudulence. One of many, I believe. By the way, another Jiffy Lube, this one honest, LATER passed my now new and one remaining wiper blade as "OK". So you're thinking of using this place? This is a busy location. I usually go to a different location but, was close to this one and needed an oil change pronto. Cause I'm a procrastinator, lol. They took my car in with a minimal wait time. I consider 30 min or so a decent wait time for places like this. To give care to a car and complete a transaction, I would want them to take their time. I like being safe in my vehicle. The guy who met me was very courteous and communicated with me very well throughout my experience, so I did not feel forgotten and so I knew what they were doing to my car. Now the price of the oil change is a bit outrageous, but they have plenty of coupons online and Groupon so that helped me not feel completely ripped. Sign of the times, though. The waiting area is small but has plenty of chairs and they do have an industrial keurig and supplies while you wait. The TV in the place only plays the jiffy channel which is a bit annoying cause its mostly commercial stuff, I would rather a news channel. But that's not truly important in the long run. My dad recommend Jiffy Lube to me because I had a bad experience at the last place I took my car for an oil change. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary, but was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast and the staff seemed knowledgeable and honest when I was asking questions about various things. Their oil changes are a little more expensive than other places, but they include a lot of extras (like cleaning the windows, checking/topping off fluids and they even vacuumed my car)! I had planned to take it to the car wash that day for a full service clean, but they bought me some time and I didn't have to. My car also had a check engine light on so they ran it through their system and told me what the problem was. It was a simple problem so they fixed it right there on the spot at no charge. This was my first experience with Jiffy Lube, but I was pleased...they seemed competent and were very efficient. I will definitely be back. read more

The worst service your car can get in town. Be carefull before you give your car let to them, they will receive you with a nice smile and pull your car into the shop quickly, they will drain the engine's oil before calling you to discuss the price and conditions of the service to be done. You have no way to get out of there, there is no oil on the engine. They have no computer to set up the mileage on your car to the new service. Very rude people.
