This pharmacy really went above and beyond. I came to pick up my pain medication after my doctor said he faxed it over then the next day I received a phone call saying that my prescription was ready. I came to pick it up and my medication was nowhere to be found. I was frustrated and the staff soon realized that my doctor accidentally faxed it to their sister pharmacy in Piedmont. There was no way for me to make it there before they closed because of my demanding work schedule so they scheduled a delivery straight to my work place. I'm reviewing the new Wellspring Pharmacy in Berkeley, which is just the old Abbott's pharmacy. So far, their customer service has been appallingly bad. I tried to get a refill on a prescription for my cat which I had refilled many times by Abbott, usually within 1 day. I left a message on their prescription refill line (which does or does not get answered anymore, depending on who one asks), didn't receive a call by 4 days later, went in and was told they hadn't filled it and I shouldn't bother unless I receive a call from them. Now a week later I called up and was given some lame excuse that they couldn't find the prescription, which I assume actually means they haven't done it. They finally did fill it, and it seems to be fine. Hopefully it is a matter of a rough transition, but they could be a lot more responsive. read more

By far the best pharmacy I've been to. Staff and customer service was great! I had an emergency and need medication asap, within a short couple of hours they were able to provide me with what I needed in so little time. Definitely a plus when I'm asking tons of questions & they're listening, answering back instead of finishing they're job and rushing me out! I will definitely be back. When this place was under the old management as Abbott Pharmacy I really liked getting my prescription there, now as Wellspring Pharmacy is different place: disorganized, the customer service is bad, I tried to get a refill on one prescription and the refiled all my meds. (total of 6) that I didn't need yet, then they start calling me for days to remind me to pick up medication that I asked them to leave "on-hold", next time after requesting refill they missed approved authorization from doctor and they didn't contact me for 10 days.Who wants disorganized pharmacy??? read more

After going to Scripps in Walnut Creek I am sorry I didn't change many many years ago. I was swimming in biased cream just get them out that I needed... I was using it like lotion the way you guys made it. I now apply a very small amount and my hormones are more steady. You did change my my prescription without asking me or my doctor. It was the progesterone you went to over-the-counter stuff instead of compounding. I just hope other people pay attention to this and go elsewhere. read more

This place is an inefficient, nightmare to deal with! Before my prescription shipped, I called them 2 times (on 2 different days) to make SURE that they would not delivery to my home address but to my work address. They confirmed. 3 days later, I called about the missing shipment and they confirmed that it was sent to the wrong address and delivery had been attempted 2 times but they could not deliver (of course because no one would be home)! The person helping me (I will refrain from typing her name) called the courier (while I was on hold) and then confirmed to me that the shipment would arrive the next day to my work address. Nothing the next business day. After a 3-day holiday weekend, I call back and they tell me it was delivered at a "leasing office" that does not exist in this high rise because you can only go to the suite you are delivering to as addressed on the package. No signature is required for delivery. Thanks to their carelessness, I am now without medication for 6 days and counting. AWFUL!! read more

This pharmacy is amazing!! The staff members are helpful, patient, knowledgeable and genuine. I had such a wonderful experience picking up a prescription for my sick child. Usually when I go to other pharmacies it takes forever to get my prescription refilled. This pharmacy had my prescription ready in no time, which was convenient for having a sick/tired baby. I was very satisfied and will be going back for all my prescriptions. Helpful tip, they also offer home delivery, I can't wait to try this. Terrific service and good vibes! I must say they are way better than any chain that I have been to in my past. I get my pets prescription here and their prices were better than other pharmacies I called in the area. The only negative for me was that I wished they had extended hours. So, yesterday's review was far from stellar. Major issues with customer service. That said, today I received a call from the owner, and I was so impressed that I had to come here to acknowledge. Never have I received an apology that comes close to the message he left. He owned the issues, did not make excuses, and asked how they can make it up to me. That said, they cannot obtain the pharmaceutical that my dog needs, but luckily I have found it elsewhere.
