Judging from the fact my og review of Overflow's Lynden location is almost 10 years old (!), I'd say it's more than time for a refresh. A lot has changed since my 2016 declaration that "beer and Lynden" are not often two words you associate with each other. Lynden now has a few hoppy outposts, including a second Overflow location on the west side. Guess I'll add that one to my list, too! This particular Sunday, we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet beer and play a game of cribbage. I was excited to see Overflow was open (back in "the day" most Lynden businesses were closed on Sundays). We grabbed a couple of pints (just $5 ea!) and sat down for our game. The service was friendly, the place was uncrowded, and it was hard not to order a second pint before the long drive home to the Ham. Overflow, congrats on 10 years in Lynden! It's great to see you're still thriving, still serving up some great beer choices, and still supporting clean water initiatives. Cheers!

Loved the red ale in particular. But even better. This is a brewery that actually has good food! Most rely on beer to get people in the door and have mediocre food at best or a great food truck if you end up there on the right day. But north fork actually has really tasty well seasoned food from their kitchen. I'm not big on pizza so I tried the veggie lasagne, the Mac and cheese with bacon and house salad with green goddess dressing. The side salad is a large portion and very fresh and the dressing tastes homemade and is out of this world. Also service was friendly and kind. I will definitely be back. Only thing that would make this spot better is if they had dog friendly outdoor seating- I went there twice but ended up getting my order to go one of the days bc I wanted to spend time with my dog. I quickly grabbed tickets and we headed over. It was a nice, warm evening and there was plenty of seating in the large beer garden. We grabbed a couple of pints inside, and sat down for the show. It was a fun crowd, a lovely evening, and (more than once) I found myself wondering how I ended up at a weeknight outdoor comedy show in Sedro-Woolley! They had a bunch of delicious beers on tap, plus wine and cider too. They even have some pinball machines, which are hard to come by around these parts. In a county devoid of many taphouse options, I'll definitely be adding this spot to my regular rotation.
