Clean and friendly bar/ brewery with a large tap list. Plenty of seating inside, and a food truck is always outside - limited options. The brewery seems to be both pet and family friendly. Staff was very welcoming on my visit.

I met met up with friends here several times this summer. There are pros and cons, but I like this brewery very much. It's actually my favorite in town. Beer They have quite a few on the menu. I have only tried two different kinds: blonde ale and pilsner. You have to take it as a grain of salt, as I'm not a big drinker, but I really liked them both. Food They don't serve food, but there's a food truck. I really can't comment on the food because I've only had nachos and only once. But what I can say is something about the set-up itself. Because they don't serve food, there are no waiters, who keep checking on you. So, you just enjoy your time with your company. Stand up and go to the bar if you want more beer. Do the same with food. You can hang out here as much as you want. Ambience The building itself is like a warehouse (probably is). No ambience or whatever. I would not bring a date here. It's probably cold in winter. However, in the summer, it's nice to just sit outside and enjoy beer with friends. There are quite a few dogs here, by the way. Pro Tip: Kid and dog friendly. Give them a try if you haven't before summer goes away! ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. Wander was stop #3 on our Bellingham Beercation. It was a Saturday in the middle of the day and the place was packed. Nowhere to sit inside, so my husband and I got our beers and went outside. It was a cold and wet day, but Wander does outside beer gardens perfectly. They have a tent, and a nice gas fire pit. So despite the cold day, we were perfectly warm sitting outside. In fact, we stayed at Wander for a good 2 hours. Enjoying beers and good company from some locals, who gave us some good history on some of the breweries and some suggestions of where else to go on our Brew tour. They didn't have a lot of IPAs on tap, so we didn't bother sample trays, we both had a few pints. They don't do food here, but there was a food truck. The food looked delicious, but we did not partake... On to the next brewery!

Had an awesome sour here called the Plum Bob. Boozy at 7.4%. Fruity and tart. Husband ordered the Dog Lost Pilsner and enjoyed. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and friendly staff! It was also dog friendly on inside which was awesome since it was a rainy and windy day. Really liked the Pilsner glasses with the stems. Not sure if they are specifically sours or what but it was so lovely to drink out of that I had to take a few home!

Hands down this is one of the BEST breweries in Bellingham and for that matter in Washington. Although we do not live in Bellingham, we go here each time we are in the area. Great Beer, food trucks often, and the customer service is top notch! Dog and family friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating. I love how there is so many new beers, but your fav's rotate back in. Thanks for creating this fantastic brewery!

TLDR: Wander Brewing is a laid back little brewery with some seriously flavorful brews! I found their beer to be very fruit forward, with even the IPAs being hazy and juicy. The staff was fantastic, the music modern indie, and the atmosphere perfect for a lazy Sunday. The Service The bartenders knew their beer inside and out, and were able to make great recommendations. Their description was spot on, and my flight was ready before I even finished paying! The Beer Coming from Texas, this was quite a culture shock! The über hoppy IPAs that I'm used to are nothing like these juicy, hazy, fruit forward brews. Wander has a number of barrel aged offerings that are really interesting. Bring your A-game, because these flavorful beers will excite your pallette and challenge your Untapp'd review skills :)

Second time here and this place still is as good as remembered. The only is this time ( in summer) they do not have so many barell aged beer. Tried a number of IPAs (hazy, coffee, singles, doubles, and triples) and surpsingly, all were good and delicious (even the coffee IPA). So far, I have not had a bad beer here. As the times are what they are, it is worth mentioning the place is very Covid safe. They have reserved part of the parking lot for more tables to allow distancing. Additionally, all tables have a clean/dirty tag. When someone leaves they do an exceptionally cleaning of the tables, clean/dirty sign, chairs, etc. Highly recommend it

We have been going to every Brewery in Bellingham, and this has made the lists of my favorites (3rd to Aslan and Boundry Bay). We got here and tested out all of their beers (minus the sours) and the majority were pretty good. While the IPAs were better at some of the other breweries, I liked the dark beers here best. There were some great coffee and chocolate notes that worked well. Pros - Good beer selection - Great dark beers - Very dog and child friendly - Lots of seating and great outdoor seating - Food truck options Cons - Odd/out of the way location - Some beers were not very good (just get a taste before you buy some)

First time in this brewery. The place itself is located between warehouses/ maybe the brewery itself was an old warehouse . Has Avery laid back vibe . I had the Pilsner and my friend had a cider . The brew was really good good probably one of the best I have tried in Bellingham. Service was helpful and prompt . The brewery itself doesn't serve food but there's a food truck sitting right outside serves Indian food. I personally didn't partake in eating but the food looked good and came highly recommended from our bartender . I will definitely be revisiting this place .

Stopped by for a tasting flight when I was visiting family. Love the selection of beers.

Now, we can enjoy those crispy, kitty-themed BC beers without the long drive north. The setting is lovely, too. They have a HUGE outdoor deck, right on the waterway, which is just about the perfect spot to spend a warm summer afternoon. I also got to visit recently, on a cold, bitter, grey January day, and the beer was just as good enjoyed indoors in their colorful tap room. Can't wait for more great days at Beach Cat as the weather starts to warm up and the sun (rumor has it) decides to come out even more.

The outdoor patio is sprawling with space! Tons of outdoor seating and quite a bit inside as well (for the rainy days I suppose!) Although every time I have visited (sunny days!) there were people sitting inside and I am not sure why anyone would choose to sit inside on a beautiful day!! I digress. The annoying thing about the patio, the music was on what felt like, volume level 7 out of 10. It was blaring. I could not hear my friend speaking to me across the table. While I totally dug the music selection, it was way too loud to have a conversation. The speakers are on like every other post so there was no getting away from it. At one point I did ask them if they could turn it down a few notches. (I apologized and said "with risk of sounding like a Karen or an old lady, but it is so loud and I cannot hear across the table). She laughed said no problem and she could turn it down a little. (Funny inside it was like on volume level 4, but outside it was blasting!) The beer is decent, also about 3.5/5. For me the star of the show is the location and the view. The food truck out front the last time we went (January 2026) was Indian fare. It was honestly terrible. Looked like cat food (how fitting). Probably had a total of 3 pieces of chicken in my tikka masala. I would recommend avoiding that truck entirely. It was a thumbs down for all 4 people in our group.

The patio is nice because it has lights and heat, but MY GOD the bar stools are not comfortable. I felt like my legs were gonna have bruises and my lower back was gonna be sore. We are both young and active people but were DYING on the barstools. It was also odd to be so high up when we had dogs on the ground, as it made it hard to manage them. We ended up putting them in the car because it was such an awkward height distance (they are small dogs). I was excited about the online menu since they had a lot of gluten free options. The menu in person was different than the menus I saw online and on Yelp. Not too different, just definitely a rotation/seasonal element. I perhaps had some gluten free vegan wings in my heart that have not seen the menu in a while but are posted online a lot. I got a hawaiian style bowl with tofu and my fiance got a sandwich. We each got a cocktail as well, and our total was $100. I thought this was a little steep, but we did like everything we got. I will go back, but probably without dogs and without a dream of what I see on the online menu.
