    Expanded outdoor space for cornhole
    Mindy H.

Wow! An incredible gem of a spot in Lynden. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but be brave and step through to an incredible space with friendly people and great local brews on tap - beer and cider. Or, good local Washington wine options to sip on. The outdoor space is amazing. One of the best outdoor beer gardens I have ever been too. It has an incredible fire pit, cozy spaces for large groups to hang out at and have great conversations. They don't have food onsite, but do have a rotating list of food trucks or you can bring your own food in. They also have an outdoor stage and good quality music sourced to play. Even room for dancing if you feel so inclined.

The badger is the best place to relax and grab a pint or glass of wine in the county. They always have a great rotating tap list with something for everyone. The manager makes sure they have a little of every style, and with a myriad of events such as trivia, open mic, guided painting, and live shows, it's always a great time.

Easy going atmosphere, good and well priced beer selection, karaoke night can be a hoot. Really nice outside when weather works.

The atmosphere is fantastic! I wish they served food, but the food truck is a great way to support local restaurants!

This is my favorite local beer garden! Live music, games, firepit, good beer all in a local community setting. Dog friendly!

Judging from the fact my og review of Overflow's Lynden location is almost 10 years old (!), I'd say it's more than time for a refresh. A lot has changed since my 2016 declaration that "beer and Lynden" are not often two words you associate with each other. Lynden now has a few hoppy outposts, including a second Overflow location on the west side. Guess I'll add that one to my list, too! This particular Sunday, we were looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a quiet beer and play a game of cribbage. I was excited to see Overflow was open (back in "the day" most Lynden businesses were closed on Sundays). We grabbed a couple of pints (just $5 ea!) and sat down for our game. The service was friendly, the place was uncrowded, and it was hard not to order a second pint before the long drive home to the Ham. Overflow, congrats on 10 years in Lynden! It's great to see you're still thriving, still serving up some great beer choices, and still supporting clean water initiatives. Cheers!

The bartender was cheerful and busy, but attentive to our requests. I have been here a handful of times before. My favorite is the French Dip, but there are many things that I have not tried. We shared the tuna sushi appetizer, which enjoyed a great deal. The crispy fried onions gave it a kick of texture and flavor. My wife had the teriyaki chicken bowl, which tasted good, but she wished she had another order of the sushi. I had the miso king salmon *really* hit the spot for me, and it was not overcooked a bit. The miso taste was quite mild. The Brussels sprouts were tasty, and the rice good. The amazing sauce brought it all together. I ate the entire plate, which surprised my wife. Service was very good. Although it was at capacity, and the games were on the TVs at the bar (with volume way down or off), it was not too noisy, so my wife and I could talk easily without shouting. I appreciate the restrooms here. Full closing doors for each commode!
