I called the hostess over to ask if it was a mistake and she said all pizzas are half off on Tuesdays. I now know my Tuesday dinners. I've told a bunch of people now and will be taking my neighbors next Tuesday. Oh and turns out it's not a franchise but a family run restaurant.and it was staring me in the face the entire time. This place is the best bar in Bellingham!! Kurt and JoJo make an amazing effort to know your name, and greet everyone that comes in by their first name. I don't know how they do it, I'm flabbergasted by their memory. I challenge you to find a bar that makes better cocktails than this place.. I'm willing to bet they are the only place that makes KETO/Low Carb friendly mixed drinks as well. I get a Stevia Mojito, and was shocked when Kurt said he can do that. Not only did the owner, Kurt, saved my food when I left it the other night, but tonight he watched my backpack as i needed to go to the restroom! Starin is an exceptional waitress and bartender. She checks in frequently and gives recommendations. She doesn't appear bothered to be doing the job for which she was hired. This spot used to be strictly a plant nursery and vegetable stand, but a few years ago they added a large beer shed and multiple taps. Toss in a couple of regular food trucks and the plant/veggie operation progressively got smaller as the beer garden expanded. Hey, I'm not complaining! My typical visit to Goods involves (1) stopping at Dumpling Girls (one of their two permanent on-site trucks) to grab some dumpling or noodle goodness, then (2) while I'm waiting for my food order, grabbing a tasty pint of one of Goods' many local craft brews. They feature beer from many of our popular local breweries, and always have a wide selection of things to choose from (which, as a person who prefers an amber or a dark to an IPA, I appreciate). There's also a Mexican food truck onsite, and even a hair salon in a converted bus if you want to get glammed up before your beer. And yes, they still have the plants and veggies - you just have to look a little harder to find 'em.
