Amazing. Needed balancing of 40" mud terrains on beadlocks. No other place in town would touch them. The conventional wisdom is balancing beads, but those destroy TPMS sensors. I was expecting multi-day turn around, got it same day. Note: I removed tires and wheels from my vehicle and ran them down there, so that probably helped on time. I do not like to write bad reviews. I like problems settled. I think everyone should try and communicate direct about the issue rather than being a town crier. I did this with them. I came in person with the issue to resolve it, they were to get back to me. I called in and sent text messages and was blown off. No attempt at all on their side. I finally made a 4th trip and returned in person today. The issue is how they handled an acknowledged bad employee that did poor work. I get mistakes happen. That happens to us all--BUT it's how they handled it from there. Excuses and dodging the contact. We aren't 16 and this IS supposed to be a business. I didn't hire the bad seed and they aren't taking responsibility to make things right after having a problem. That's the issue I have---after giving them the opportunity. This is why I think it's fair others know what could happen to them. I spent extra money to fix their error and wasted a lot of time going back AFTER they made the mistakes. Do not use them. Unreliable. Try to overcharge and poor communication and craftsmanship. I came here on a referral and unfortunately they didn't live up to their reputation. My $400 quote for one day lift kit install took 2 days because I was told door alignment rack was full. I get stuff happens, not a big deal. Day 2 I called them around 4pm on Friday to find out when it would be done. 'Its done' I was asked to hustle in because they were wrapping up. I drove my second car and left it parked on the street to make it in time and was made aware it was a favor they stayed-I said maybe you should have called me to tell me the vehicle is ready-then you wouldn't be held up. Then the price switch--cost went up to $650 because it took their technician extra long to complete. After we negotiated back to the original price as quoted I found out the installer was a defector from 4 Wheel Parts. Upon inspection it was found the quick disconnects were installed one inside and one outside as were the rear sway bar disconnects, the heim joints were not centered, the front steering stabilizer was crushed as he used it for leverage and the extended brake lines were not secured safely. Overall about 50% was done incorrectly and it was fixed at another shop (and the alignment was also done correctly) for another $200. When this was brought to their attention in person they wanted copies of the work, pictures and they would get back to me. That's fair. They mention in front of me that he crap installer is being replaced the next Monday by a returning employees (but apparently the joke was the guy getting fired didn't know). So I think they understand he did poor work for them and he's getting let go. They apologize and say they will get back to me. They did put an exhaust extension on my vehicle even though I didn't supply it-so upon the return I gave them the brand new TeraFlex one I had bought to replenish what they gave me ($45). All done but no return call after texting and calling in to check. I spend the time to go back in and they said the guy that referred me isn't a friend and they aren't refunding any money. Bad business. I wouldn't trust them because they acknowledged he did a poor job on the install and regardless of who sent me or how long it took them-it was done improperly and they didn't back what their business did. I get mistakes happen and I didn't spend $200 more at another shop for fun. They should have reimbursed that or made some concessions-they hired a poor employee not me and I don't care if it took him 24 hours-someone should be checking the work to make sure is done safely and done right. read more

I brought my wife's Black and Pink Titan to get air bags setup on the rear suspension to VSS. I was recommended to VSS by a trusted friend. From the outside it looks as if you have entered thunder dome, and or half expect to see people from the Hills have eyes pop up from behind half fixed trucks....Surprisingly I found my way to the front office and that is where I met PHIL! Phil is the man, he has 20 things happening at any given point and time. You may think he didn't hear you, or he ignored you. Don't say anything....just sit there, shut your mouth watch the Wendy Williams show and before you know it Phil show back up with all your answers, bitch's moans and complaints resolved. I took my Land Cruiser here for a little work. I Couldn't remove the OEM shocks in the front. These guys did the job easily and didn't charge me an arm+leg. Scheduling with Matt is easy. You know you're in the right place when you roll out of your car and you see Jeeps doing insane flex tests. These guys work on some amazing vehicles. Valley Spring & Service aligned my F450 dually and made it steer like new again. Their website says "we fix what others give up on" and I can vouch for that. Peoria Ford scammed me out of $650 for three failed alignments on my F450, and made my steering worse than it was before I brought it in to Peoria Ford. After several weeks, Peoria Ford gave up and sent me home with the steering pulling to the right. My truck is lifted and being an F450 supercab, it is difficult to find an alignment rack big enough for it. VS&S had a high-tech alignment machine and a rack big enough for my truck. Phil's guys troubleshooted and fixed my truck so it steers like new again and they charged me less than expected. I will take my lifted trucks to Phil from now on. read more

Phil and his crew did it again. Our 2006 Jeep Commander had some front end issues as a result of 195,000 miles of rough driving. After the repair the Jeep drives as good as new and should go another 100,000 miles with no issues. They fixed what was needed and did not try to upset us. I knew VSS was at this location for years but never worked with them before. I had a suspension issue on my GMC 4x4 that had me puzzled and did not think the dealership was the right choice for this. I called, they got me in the same week and were very quick to respond. I dropped off at 7am and had it back by noon with some fabrication work needed to fix a damaged crossmember. I couldnt be more thrilled about the work i've had done by VSS. When nobody in town could help lift my 1979 truck, VSS got it done with a custom lift and beautiful fab work. More recently I was having some steering issues, truck wanted to wonder while driving. Took it down to VSS and the guys did a shake down of the entire steering system and got things tightened up...i can safely cruise on the highway and hold my lane with 1 finger on the wheel! Took my truck in Monday 031620 because even loaded at slightly less than the rated tongue weight it was sitting down in the rear. They said I just needed to add a leaf. When they were done they said it raised it two inches. They actually added two leaves and raised it up at least three inches and they did an excellent job. They also had to procure and install two new shocks, because the original shocks were too short. Price was very fair and only the price of the shocks above the original quote. Staff was all friendly. They didn't know it, but I have been a customer for 25 years, have had all of my last three trucks done there, the same thing. Usually I just leave them, but this time I couldn't, so I had to wait there and I'm glad i did because the way they operate and the range of work and types of vehicles they take in is amazing. If you like to be helped on you vehicular needs by high school drop out that do not have a good working relationship with the English language this may be the place for you. If you like to tell people what you want done and show up to find something totally different-go for it! I asked valley spring to clean and paint the rear leaf springs for my car. I asked them what paint they used and I was told semi gloss black. I specifically asked to not have flat black as it shows dirt to easy. I guess if you call out what you absolutely DO NOT want that is what you get. I was charged more than the quote and they used steel banding material used for packing things. I could have done a better job myself ! I am not even sure if this banding material is a road worthy alternative to the proper way to do it.
