Even with my sass, I was greeted by a professional, personable and friendly representative. She explained that they had been working on it, and they were waiting for parts, but would grab the technician to elaborate further. I don't think there are technicians anywhere that know more than the team at Curt's! I'm not kidding! The technican knew some tricks to tune it up without running my pocketbook through the ringer. I could go on for days about their knowledge. You can believe my surprise when I received a call from Curt's saying my car was ready for pick up after a few days when a corvette specialist couldn't figure it out after a month! I love to learn and wish I could do more of the work myself but that's not always the case. The technicians at Curt's can dumb it down even if you're not a gear-head and take the time to explain EVERYTHING in as much or as little detail as you want and answer any questions no matter how silly! Even after my little attitude problem they welcomed me to the Curt's Auto Repair Family :) The prices are competitive, quality repairs and customer service can't be beat! It started off with a diagnosis of an issue where the car would struggle to rev and ended with me never trusting a shop with my car ever ! The car needed a tune that ended up getting figured out but took multiple months. I had them fix my rear main seal and the engine issue which was fixed with a tune. When i had received the car back. The technician "Eric" drove it like a mad man breaking the tires loose which shouldn't be part of the " simple repair ". Once the test drive ended i had took the car back home and before i even made it back the car had ignited brake fluid that was leaking from a clutch line onto the header that wasn't properly installed causing the whole entire car to catch on fire ! After i had to save my own car from the fire they were so eager to fix but i was given a car that had the power steering go out on me while I was driving it. After another 2 and a half weeks of the car being in the shop i got it back with only repairs that were "necessary" to get the car to run still had burnt hoses and lines in back of the intake manifold that i paid good money for burnt for me to repair on my own time. Once i got the car back i had countless phone calls of having the Owner/manager hang up the phone on me from another issue happening with the clutch after they had just messed with it my clutch was not wanting to engage properly and they refused to work on it i have audio recorded calls with this as well. I then had another shop "On-The-Go transmissions" diagnose the issue as them not bleeding the clutch properly. So thanks Curt's auto repair for absolutely torturing my car.

Did not want to take it back and cause another month on top of the two months they had it at their shop. Turns out there was crystal clear water inside my electrical connection that my wiring harness was plugged into. I sopped up the water and fixed it myself. Also had the ac replaced but it doesn't work. Never did. They said it was my fault it was leaking because of some prior damage to the front end. Why even replace it if they knew it wouldn't work? I don't recommend them and it's true they think they are hot poop in this industry and it's true they are hot poop.

The wife was frantically (not really frantic, but I needed a word) searching for a repair shop somewhere in Phoenix . . . if we make it from the Churaico Summit on-ramp when . . . BANG ! ! !, I look down and there is no boost pressure indicating on the dash. "You might as well find us a rental nearby the repair place, as well", I say. She found us a rental place just two blocks away. Anticipating a costly and lengthy turbo charger replacement we proceeded to get ourselves a rental to compete our road trip to Corpus Cristi, Texas by way of Denver, Colorado. We pull up to SD and I speak with the service writer Jonathan, as he quickly begins surveying my vehicle. Jonathan expressed his concern for us 'already getting a rental because' . . . , as he reaches under the hood, 'these are usually' . . . "Yep! Right there". "Because I could've got you outta here in an hour and a half". Long story short, we kept the rental and Jonathan, at first, reluctantly agreed to store the vehicle for two weeks while we roadtrip in a comfortable rental without breakdown worries again. I did agree to an additional ~$350 service diagnostic to kinda help with keeping my truck for those two weeks. Upon return from our trip, I was swiftly settled with my writer and I asked about obtaining different decals I see they had on display. The writer (sorry, didn't get his name) showed me some stuff they had in their showroom and gave me a t-shirt of my choice, just not all sizes and colors. I found something that shows off their cool logo well. These guys are the legit diesel hot rod shop. Great service! Dicks

I am extremely hesitant to bring my car to a mechanic shop normally because my dad typically fixes my cars for me. I wanted to give him a break so that is what lead me here. A little over a year ago I brought my car in for a horrible noise it was making. They diagnosed it and over $1,000 later I got the call my car was fixed and ready. As I was driving away, the same very glaring and obvious noise happened even before I left the parking lot. I called and let them know it was still making the noise so they had me bring it back the next day. I went on a drive with one of the mechanics so I could make sure they knew what noise I was talking about. They kept my car, put some oil/lubricant on a few things, and said good to go. Again, my car made the noise as I drove out of the parking lot. I called again to tell them it was still making the noise and I was told, "I don't know what to tell you, your car is old and we could spend years looking for what is causing the noise." And that was it. No offer to try to figure it out and I've now spent the money I barely could afford as a single mom and my car is not fixed. And I don't have the additional funds at the time to take it elsewhere because I spent it with them. Here I am, over a year later and the car is still making the noise because I'm nervous about trying at another mechanic. My friend over the past year has had two very similar experiences where the initial issue was not fixed at first and she has had to go back. She had to pay for the non-fixes and again for the going back to actually get it fixed. I have no doubt the work they did on my car was done properly, however it was not the right work or the fix for my issue. The employee even said he thought what they replaced looked like it had already been replaced before (like it was not the original part). I feel like that should have raised a flag that maybe it wasn't the part that needed replacing. I would use caution when considering going here.
