First of all, I appreciated the thoroughness they took to go over my car. Several issues were found. Some required immediate action and others needed to be watched. They kept in touch, letting us know problems found and cost and they used actual Hyundai parts. Mike even kept the parts removed to show my husband. Compared to the dealership, prices were more reasonable. They even gave hubby the veterans discount. We loved the communication and the honesty. We'll be back.

They have serviced my car multiple times now and every time was day of drop off and pickup. They have had very helpful honest and transparent conversations about my vehicle and its issues. When my vehicle was at the end of its lifespan they even took the time to talk through other car models I could move on to. This business customer service mirrors that of a family. They care about their customers and won't lead you astray in any fix that isn't necessary. So now I'm taking my single recommendation and spreading it here. This is an auto shop you can trust and deserves your business.

I've had the same mechanic for about 30 years (a family owned & operated shop in WA), and the thought of going somewhere else petrified me. I really needed an oil change and tire rotation and chose Grease Monkey on Bell based on Google & Yelp reviews. I was greeted right away, explained what my needs were, and Thad did his best to reassure me that I would be well taken care of, they would show me all parts before replacing, and would not try to upsell me. He also said they have bays in back with mechanics to do other work when I need it. I did need a few other things (rear brake light, wiper blades, cabin filter) and each time someone came in to get my approval. I had no idea my wiper blades would shred in the heat! If it's raining, I'm more likely to be standing outside letting it hit me in the face than going for a drive. They were very patient in getting me every discount they could. Coupon codes from the website AND a senior discount! In and out in less than an hour, including wait time to get my car in the bay. The website did mention a carwash, which they don't have at this location, but that was not a deal breaker at all. I highly recommend this location and will definitely go back when I need anything else done.

So at this point I already paid the $384 but the owner did recognize a credit would be given for the diagnostic and the 3% which is a little over $180. I went to pick up my truck and he tried to charge another $254 and here is the epic part, I literally saw them using my truck around town and did get to pick it up until after 4:30pm and 68miles later. I wasn't sure of what to do, so I started looking for a second opinion. I looked online for Mercedes-Benz repair and found David Terry, Family Car Care for less! What a blessing. He kept the car overnight, ran tests, and could not find any problems, which is what I thought. At any rate, for a small inspection fee, I feel so much better about the car. The car is perfect, or in very good condition for a 2006. David saved me several thousand dollars and, more importantly, personal peace of mind. I would recommend him 100%!
